Tang San looks a bit exasperated, feeling quite frustrated at himself, for not being able to make any new noticeable advancements to his cultivation. But when he turned over to look at Tang Qing, his mood lightens up slightly.

Having calmed down for a bit, Tang San then spoke to Tang Qing, apologizing to him on his own accord, "I'm sorry, Xiao Di. To make you have to watch me whilst I go on a wild tantrum."

Looking at his dear Older brother, Tang Qing felt that his apology was quite sincere. But in his heart, he looks up to him, admiring him like a fatherly role model.

Tang Qing felt that his Older brother Tang San did nothing in the wrong. He was right to feel frustrated at himself, after all, what's he been through. His childhood was not easy. Being the Older one out of the twins, it was his job to look after the family in place of Tang Hao, doing the household chores, chop and gather firewood. Even cooking food for himself and for the rest of the family, which was supposed to be Tang Hao's job and responsibility as the parent.

Feeling sympathy for his older brother Tang San, Tang Qing thought to himself, 'It's not your fault that our father (Tang Hao) is a drunken bum.'

Even though Tang Qing slightly understands the pain and suffering of loss from what Tang Hao has gone through. The moaning for Ah Yin's death, his biological mother. The one that gave birth to the twins in the wake of her death, Tang San and Tang Qing.

But that still doesn't mean that Tang Hao, has the right to ignore their children's feelings and loneliness. Not raising them properly, with unconditional love and care like any other normal parent would.

Tang Qing then walks over toward his older brother Tang San, patting his back, he excitedly said, "Da Ge, there's no need to apologize to me. We're brothers after all. Twins that came in a pair..."

Tang San sighs, whilst looking at his younger brother Tang Qing, and said, "Thanks for being there for me, Xiao Di. If you weren't here, then I will truly be by myself, like I did in my past life." Tang San said the last line in a much quieter voice, which pass by Tang Qing's ears, it has gone unnoticed by him.

Immersed deeply in his own thoughts, 'So Da Ge is also a reincarnated person, huh. I wondered from what world did he come from originally, to have possessed these so-called special powers and techniques. Well, it is his secret. It's best not to dive in too deeply in his personal business. When the time comes, if he's ready to tell me or not. It's all up to him to decide.'

It was then that Tang Qing suddenly snapped back into reality, recalling something that he has forgotten, "Oh, that's right, Da Ge. While you were busy meditating and doing your own mumbo-jumbo. I've already filled up our two baskets full of firewood." Tang Qing turned and then pointed at the two baskets over towards the side, not so far away from him, that is filled to the brim with firewood.

Tang San was clearly confused and bewildered at the phrase mumbo-jumbo, which was used by Tang Qing his younger brother. Tang San muttered to himself, "Mumbo Jumbo... Oh, I already noticed that you've taken care of the whole firewood gathering situation. So all that is left is to head on home with the firewood and then make food for breakfast.", Tang San shake the whole mumbo jumbo stuff out of his head and abruptly changed the subject.

Tang San thank Tang Qing for his help, now things would be a lot easier for them, and less time-consuming. Not that Tang San could do all of this by himself, utilizing his Tang Sect techniques, and Ghost Shadow Perplexing Track to speed up the process.

With that said and done, both Tang San and Tang Qing, hurriedly strapped on their wooden basket, using woven fiber robes, as makeshift shoulder straps.

And slowly they descended downwards, from atop the steeply forested hilltop. Carefully, watching their step in case of any incident that may happen or occur in their wake. Whilst, carrying the heavy load of firewood on their backs.

The boys were quite cautious of their surroundings, Tang San instinctively activated the Purple Demon eye still in its survey stage, as a safety precaution, scouting the route ahead of them for any noticeable signs of danger.

Once the sign was clear, they trudged down the steep cliff and arrived at the village entrance safely.

A few minutes later...

The Tang family lived on the west side and region of Holy Spirit village, right next to the village chief's place.

The three-room mud brick house could be said to be the crudest in the entire village. It had a wooden plaque, one meter in diameter above and over the door, painted with a simple blacksmith hammer. The hammer in this world was the most widespread symbol of a blacksmith.

That's right. Tang San and Tang Qing's father Tang Hao was actually a blacksmith, the only blacksmith living here in Holy Spirit village.

In this world, the blacksmith occupation could be said to be the humblest of professions. This is because none of this world's best weapons were, for a certain reason, weren't forged by blacksmiths.

Even so, as this village's only accomplished blacksmith. The Tang family shouldn't have been this impoverished with such a meager little income...

Entering the house, Tang San already smelled fragrant scent of rice. That wasn't Tang Hao making him breakfast; rather it was himself and with Tang Qing help cooked for Tang Hao.

Starting from four years old, before Tang San was tall enough to reach the kitchen counter, cooking was already his daily task; even if he had to stand on top of a stool in order to be able to reach the top of the kitchen counter.

It wasn't because Tang Hao demanded it, but rather because if he didn't do it, then he and Tang Qing would practically never be able to eat till their stomachs are full.

Arriving before the kitchen counter, Tang San stood on the wooden stool next to Tang Qing with practical ease, lifting up the lid of the large iron cooking pot, the scent of fragrant rice soup wafting out. The cauldron's rice soup had cooked thoroughly for a long time.

Every day, before going up the hill, Tang San would always make sure to put some rice in the pot to cook and prepare some firewood so that when he returned. The rice soup would already be well cooked.

Tang San was quite surprised, astonished by the sudden change in content withinside the cooking pot, differs from his original goal.

He looks towards his side, and sees the now smiling Tang Qing, with a large grin on his face. Tang San anxiously spoke, "Xiao Di, what did you add to the mix. How come it becomes something else entirely."

Tang Qing waved his hand around, signifying Tang San to back down for a bit, and Tang San happily obliged to follow him. As he got down from the kitchen stool, watching Tang Qing's small back, as his impression of him changes slightly.

Whilst facing the other way, Tang Qing spoke to Tang San, "You know eating the same food all the time can be quite boring right. So I've prepared us a special meal on this occasion. So sit tight and watch, Da Ge..."

Grabbing a pair of large wooden chopsticks from the side, lying around on the kitchen table, Tang Qing then pierced into the body of the cooked chicken, that is boiling hot withinside the content of the rice soup. Lifting it up with great difficulty, with his scrawny little arms, but he still managed to do so anyway. Utilizing the wooden lid as a makeshift tray to carry it on, before placing it on top of a clean plate.

Tang San spoke out in great puzzlement, "A chicken. Where in the world did you get enough money to buy a chicken.", and then in response.

Tang Qing then spoke to calm down the now excited Tang San, "Grandpa Jack, have been handing us pocket money right? With his position as the village chief, he controls a strong portion of the money and the village's finance income. Seeing as how father can't possibly be well enough to provide food and living expenses daily on his small salary. So Grandpa Jack is kind enough to chip in some coins occasionally so that we can eat to our fill. And besides, the chicken can be a good source of protein and nutrients, providing growth for our healthy young bodies. As well, the cooked chicken will provide a strong flavor to the broth, added with freshly dice green spring onions that is."
