Killing the Same Person Every Time (Web Novel) - Chapter 3

Chapter 3

This chapter is updated by NovelFree.ml

“Dead again.” Bu Bai didn’t know what to say as he looked over at Lao Da.

Lao Da understood that it wasn’t Bu Bai’s fault this time. The opposing side seriously didn’t conform to the norm when he attacked. Originally, he had wanted to find for an opportunity when he revived, and kill this scourge in a single move. He didn’t expect that the moment he entered his territory, he would be killed by a sword. He didn’t even get the chance to react.

With a somewhat guilty conscience, the fur hall wormed into Bu Bai’s embrace. Without making a sound, he willingly tolerated Bu Bai running his hand through his fine fur, as he extended his own stubby hand to comfort said person.

Although he returned to being a soul when he died, but the pain and fear he felt was all genuine. This wasn’t a light blow towards Bu Bai, who had just returned to the mortal world.

“Bai Bai.”

“Mm.”

“I don’t want to die.”

LaoDa couldn’t see Bu Bai’s eyes, but he could still imagine the anguish within them, so he didn’t rebute Bu Bai for his disrespect.

“So, let him die then.”

Lao Da felt that something had left and would never return. For example, the story line. Another example was this pure child. Though it may be for the better, since now, he knew to protect himself.

Lao Da exhaled a mouthful of thick smoke. In the start, it was only a interest, now even if he wanted to leave, he wouldn’t he able to. Sometimes, him being a bit blur was also better.

“Still want to revive?”

“I want to work hard.”

“Okay. If you don’t feel like reviving anymore, then we’ll change to another Instance. Lao Da will take care of the consequences.”

Using his small claw, Lao Da patted Bu Bai’s back gently. That small claw, which seemed to contain endless strength, instantly calmed Bu Bai down, even stopping his trembling from the pain.

Over in reality, Qi Mo Ran caught Bu Bai’s tender body as he collapsed. He observed as said person’s breathing gradually began to grow weaker and weaker, before it completely stopped. Watching as the blood flowed out endlessly and slowly congealed into an indescribable and disorderly pattern, he was unable to explain in a clear manner, what exactly he was feeling.

Perhaps it was regret. Such a fine and beautiful person died just like that. Bu Bai had completely matched his preference, whether it was his personality or his appearance. Unfortunately, from the start this person never belonged to him, and he had never liked imposing on others. He might as well destroy what he couldn’t obtain.

Hugging Bu Bai, Qi Mo Ran savoured the slight trace of warmth on his body. He didn’t know why, but he was unable to be more straightforward towards this person. Even if he had directly caused his death, he still wanted to stay by this person’s side for a while more.

That caused his handsome face, which Bu Bai resented, to be the first thing said person saw when he revived. To be honest, he felt as if he was going somewhat mad. He had deliberately waited for a long time in order to avoid this person. After all, which normal person would do anything to a corpse?

It turns out that he underestimated this abnormality.

“You’re alive again.” Qi Mo Ran’s smile was somewhat abnormal. A wave indescribable chills surged up from the depths of Bu Bai’s heart, however he understood that being scared wouldn’t solve anything.

“Yes, I didn’t die.” Bu Bai didn’t struggle this time. He stayed quietly in Qi Mo Ran’s embrace, seemingly like a clay sculpture, as he stared dazedly at the man in front of him.

“I’m suddenly very curious. How many times can you revive? Let’s test it out.” His thin lips spat out these kind of cold words. Even in such a dubious position, it didn’t change his nature of wanting his death.

“You can’t refuse me.”

‘He is an abnormality!’ Bu Bai cried out in his heart.

“Didn’t you already know that? Don’t be upset.” In the dimension, Lao Da was unable to pat Bu Bai. So, he could only create a slight motion in his conscious to comfort him.

“I’m not upset. Just that, I also want him to die.”

The heart of my family’s white radish has turned black. In an instant, Lao Da’s mind was flooded by this sentence.

Bu Bai’s facial complexion was pale, and the blood from his previous death still remained on his body. Right now, he was shivering up to his fingertips, but even so, he spoke up.

“You have to agree not to act against him.”

Qi Mo Ran paused. Bu Bai felt as if his smile had stiffened, but it faded away instantly, as if it was simply a careless hallucination of his.

“Okay.”

“Let go of me.” Bu Bai said. He wasn’t ashamed, nor was he angry, and neither was he resentful. He had calmly stated his request.

“No.” Qi Mo Ran answered, wanting to see the different reactions of this person. Yet, he only received silence, similar to the icy coldness during his death

Qi Mo Ran’s bedroom was not at all similar to the person himself. There was a kind of simple yet elegant charm, extremely similar to Bu Bai, as if this was constructed just for him.

Qi Mo Ran placed him back onto the light greenish canopy bed and made him lean against the headboard. He bent down and looked the other squarely in the eye, close enough to see the faint blue in Bu Bai’s scornful glare.

Lightly twisting his finger around, he retrieved a white porcelain bottle and passed it to Bu Bai.

“Drink it. This time, if you’re still able you come back, then I’ll let you go.” The warmth in his eyes could be compared to those of a lover. However, Bu Bai was only able to see the cold detachment within them, similar to when one was watching a film.

Previously, all of his deaths were directly caused by Qi Mo Ran’s hand. This time, it would be of his own hand. However, he didn’t resist it. Bu Bai stared unwaveringly at Qi Mo Ran, wanting to forever remember this person, along with unforgettable hatred he held for him.

The taste wasn’t great at all. Merely the pain and suffering would cause an average person to be unable to endure. Bu Bai’s body curled up into a ball as he clenched his fists together due to the pain, causing them to turn unnaturally white.

The blood that flowed out from the corner of his mouth, and fell down onto his fair skin had a different kind of aesthetic feeling.

Qi Mo Ran embraced him from behind, and Bu Bai was able to clearly feel the slight coolness of his breath. His ink-coloured hair fell down onto his shoulder, inevitably being somewhat soaked by his blood. But as it was black, it was hardly able to be seen.

Even when he felt extremely weak, Bu Bai restrained the yearning to collapse. That person was behind him. He didn’t want…… He didn’t want to die by this person’ s side. He didn’t want to see this person again.

The time whilst waiting for his death, would always be particularly long. After it seemed like a hundred years had gone pass, Bu Bai’s hand finally hung down limply as he sunk down once again into that eternal darkness. Just before he died, it seemed like a drop of something, slightly cold and different to the warmth of blood, fell onto his neck. And the breaths that carried along some anguish, were soft enough to go unnoticed.

“Bu Bai.” Lao Da probingly called out.

“Don’t worry, I’m fine.” Bu Bai revealed a warm smile towards the hair ball. He didn’t move, except to extend his hand mechanically towards Lao Da, “Hug me?”

This embrace wasn’t big, even if the entire fur ball was to be added together, he still wouldn’t be able to encase Bu Bai in a full embrace, however it was warm enough. Lao Da knew that Bu Bai had started crying. As if a parent worried for his child, he buried him within the fine fur of his body as he called out repeatedly, “It’s okay. It will all pass. We aren’t hurting.”

Bu Bai’s soul wasn’t able to return for a long time. Qi Mo Ran had began to feel the coolness that belonged to a genuine corpse. He was somewhat at his wits’ end. Did he really die? He felt indescribably sad.

His finger stroked Bu Bai’s eyes, thinking of the slight blue that could be seen within them. That colour was pure, similar to this person. Hs heart trembled furiously. I regret it. As expected, I like your living appearance more.

Since the damage taken this time was especially formidable, two days passed before Bu Bai was able to return. He had spent a very long time sorting out his feelings and calming himself down as much as possible. Furthermore, after he handled all that, he threw down the gauntlet against the abnormality.

“You’re awake.” Opening his eyes, he saw that person’s familiar face along with the familiar bed. Bu Bai unconsciously knitted his brows together.

That person was still wearing the same clothes from two days ago. Both his hair and clothes were also particularly messy to a certain extent, it as if he had just rushed back from a distance away. Bu Bai couldn’t help feeling uncertain. What kind of existence was he towards this person? A plaything couldn’t possibly merit this kind of attention.

“Since you’ve returned, then that’s good.” Qi Mo Ran stepped forward and supported Bu Bai up. He departed from his normal behaviour as he helped Bu Bai rub and knead his four limbs that had gone numb after days of being in deep sleep. His actions were gentle, as if he was an old friend.

“What do you want?” The abnormality wasn’t abnormal anymore. Bu Bai was somewhat unaccustomed to it, and perhaps, he may have even gotten even more fearful.

As if a frightened hare, his pupils shined with specks of light as he stared warily at a certain person being gentle towards him.

“I want……” Qi Mo Ran grasped the other’s chin, and of all a sudden, kissed him, “I want to make you my male consort.”

Life and death had always been decided by God’s will. He had killed Bu Bai four times, yet as before, he was still alive. Qi Mo Ran believed that this was a kind predestined relationship, he had been brought to his side due to fate.

Since it was like that, then he would receive it. Demons had always been about doing as they please. The first time he saw him, he realised that he desired this person. After several tries of being unsuccessful in controlling him, how should he treat him?

Bu Bai’s pair of light blue eyes widened as he stared unbelievingly at demon, who was immersed in his own lust. His body swayed unstably, but he didn’t dare to make too large of a movement. After all, he was demanding something from him.

Fortunately, although Qi Mo Ran had pushed forward this kind of rude demand, he didn’t move another step further. Including kissing, he had stopped after gaining a little knowledge, and also stopping right before the limit of Bu Bai’s patience.

His finger slid across Bu Bai’s lips, admiring the slight redness that had appeared due to him. He revealed a pleased smile. “As my male consort, remember your obligation. When I want you, you have no right to turn me down.”

“Are you toying with me?” Bu Bai glared furiously at him, a flush rose up on his cheeks due to his anger, and quickly covering up the previously enchanting scene.

“Toying?” Qi Mo Ran’s expression became cold, swiftly pressing the other beneath him, “Not only do I want to toy with your body, I also want to toy with feelings.”

Bu Bai wasn’t able to endure it. He used all his strength and pushed against that person. Unexpectedly, Qi Mo Ran didn’t resist, even by a slightest bit, and was easily thrown onto the ground, frightening Bu Bai severely.

“Are you alright?” Bu Bai knew that he couldn’t do anything, as he wasn’t able to kill Qi Mo Ran, and in order to completely protect that person he couldn’t simply commit suicide. However, now that matters had reach this stage, he also didn’t know how long he would be able to persevere.

“A male consort shouldn’t do this sort of thing.” Qi Mo Ra laid on the ground and looked up at Bu Bai, who was on the bed, with indescribably dark eyes. “This is your last chance to resist me.”
