It was already ten o’clock when Bai Qingyan woke up, the sun shining on her face. She took her time waking up, blinking slowly.
“Yezhi… “
The first thought that crossed her still sleepy mind was to check on her husband. She turned toward his side of the bed, but he wasn’t there. Bai Qingyan jumped out of bed and walked around the room, remembering to put on her slippers. Gu Yezhi had complained about her running around barefoot yesterday.
But she couldn’t find him anywhere.
Maybe he already left for work.
