Chapter 9: Future Training Base

This chapter is updated by NovelFree.ml

"Naruto kun, where are we going?"

The lush forest was filled with thorns, and the bushes reached the height of one's chest, making it extremely inconvenient to walk around. Despite following closely behind Naruto, Hinata had already been cut by thorns several times.

They were already a far distance from the village, deep in the wilderness, and the various bushes, tall grass, and towering trees made the terrain extremely hard to tread on.

"Don't worry, you'll know once we reach our destination."

Naruto answered as he slashed at the vegetation obstructing him. Even though he was 'wandering' the mountain with Hinata, he didn't neglect his training at all.

The 'Asura Body Art' differed greatly from other ninjutsu techniques. As long as one reached the minimum requirement of the first layer of the 'Steel Bone' stage, one would be able to absorb Natural Energy from the surroundings even when one wasn't performing the three-dragon movement set.

The only drawback was that it wasn't as effective as performing the movement sets, but in any case, it was still an overwhelming advantage.

Naruto could clearly feel an invigorating sensation on his skin as he walked around the mountain forest.

"The mountain forest is filled with greenery, it is indeed much more efficient practicing here than in the village."

Naruto thought.

One could gradually grow stronger regardless of whether one was walking or sitting. It wasn't without reason that this technique was the top technique used by Asura Otsutsuki to dominate the battlefield.

Naruto's mastery was still lacking. As a result, his rate of progress when walking was around thirty percent of that if he were to perform the movement sets. Along with the rise in his mastery and bodily strength, the rate would eventually increase.

Once he reached the highest level, it would be possible to grow stronger even when sleeping.

"I wonder if I can find that Namikaze estate!"

Proceeding forward on the thorny path, a thought flashed through Naruto's mind.

He was looking for the Namikaze estate, whom has been built on a very special land formation; it was also the reason why he was wandering around the mountain with Hinata. There was an area hidden beyond the village walls that not many people who knew of it, but Naruto happened to be one of them.

The Namikaze estate were built on a special land that was rich in Natural Energy, and if one were to practice Senjutsu in such an area, one's progress would be several times faster than anywhere else. Although the amount of Natural Energy in that area is not as abundant as Mount Myoboku or Ryuichi Cave, the amount is still significant for Naruto's growth. No one knew how the land could gather such large amount of natural energy, and the only thing that was known was that its formation was probably related to the geography of earth in the immemorial era.

There were very few such land in the surroundings of the village, and most of them were already occupied by other clans such as the Uchiha or the Hyuga. However, the Namikaze estate was slightly different from the others.

It was much stronger than the other special land formation.

Due to the Fuinjutsu used by the Fourth Hokage, it was impossible to sense or find this estate. As such, it was left unnoticed. It was only many years later, when Naruto already become the Hokage, was this Namikaze estate exposed.

As soon as the thought of practicing the 'Asura Body Art' appeared in Naruto's mind, he subconsciously recalled this estate that were left by his father in his previous life.

The Fourth Hokage Fuinjutsu combined with the unique geographical terrain around the mountains trapped the Natural Energy hidden within, and no one, except for Naruto, had noticed this concealed ultimate training ground yet.

"Don't stop, let's continue on Hinata. I'll open up the path so you should check the surroundings for poisonous snakes."

Naruto knew that the greatest threat one faced in the mountain forest was poisonous snakes. Even if one was a Shinobi, a single bite from those poisonous snakes possessing lethal poison was enough to send a person to his grave.

Hinata's face paled from fright when she heard Naruto's reminder. She then moved her body closer to Naruto while holding tight to the corner of his shirt like her life depended on it.

Naruto smiled wryly. It's a given for a little girl like Hinata to be afraid of snakes.

"Ah, my future wife is way too adorable when she's afraid. Look at her trembling like a cute little bunny." Naruto's mind was filled with mischievous thought.

Poof! Poof!

Naruto summoned two clones and hand over the mission of clearing the path and warding off the poisonous snakes to those clones. He then focused his attention on looking for the Namikaze estate while comforting Hinata with small talks.

'Asura Body Art' was extremely sensitive to disturbances in the Natural Energy in the air. For the last few hours, the reason why Naruto was wandering around the mountain was to feel the differing concentration in the Natural Energy in the surroundings via 'Asura Body Art' to roughly determine the location of the estate.

"We're almost there!"

After a period of time, Naruto's eyes suddenly lit up. Having successfully scoured the surrounding regions, he gained a rough idea of the shape and terrain of this mountain range, thus allowing him to confirm the rough location of the estate.

"Let's go, that way!"

Naruto suddenly turned around, pointed toward one direction, and started paving a path.

The area which Naruto confirmed was in the midst of various thick vegetation. In there, he felt a vague but definite familiar disturbance in the air. He remembered that it was the disturbance generated by Natural Energy.

Naruto led Hinata to scour around the surrounding peaks, and about an hour later——

"Hahaha, I've found it!"

Naruto was extremely delighted.

Hinata glanced at Naruto in bewilderment. She couldn't understand why Naruto was so excited.

Drawing his kunai, Naruto began clearing the thorns and trees in the surroundings, creating an empty spot.

Naruto then took out a small scroll, which was the key to the Namikaze estate given to him by the Hokage the previous day.

"Hinata, stay close to me. This place is sealed with a powerful Fuinjutsu. You might be harmed if you strayed too far from me."

Staring at the back Naruto, Hinata nodded without saying a word and grabbed his hand firmly.

Naruto gave his finger a quick bite to draw out his blood and spread his blood on the scroll.

"Release!" Naruto shouted.

Suddenly the ground was tremoring wildly and the fogs and thick green vegetation surrounding the place started to disappear.

Hinata was bewildered but she chooses to put her faith on Naruto and grasped his hand tighter.

Several minutes later, a simple estate surrounded by several thick walls can be seen, and in front of the estate was a massive iron gate with the Uzumaki swirl symbol engraved on it. Overwhelming Natural Energy far greater than that of the other parts of the mountain forest gushed in from beneath his feet and his surroundings.

"If I recall correctly, this place is where my father grew up and trained all of his ninjutsu. No wonder he could become the strongest Shinobi in his time without having any large clan supporting his back!"

As Naruto pushed open the iron gate, he thought over this matter silently.

If Naruto wanted to grasp his destiny and change the fate of Konoha and the world, he had to build up his own influence.

This was an extremely vague plan that he hadn't built on yet, but when he meets Hinata yesterday, it suddenly crossed his mind where he should station his own 'training base' at.

By the time he can brought his former teammates over, this estate will serve as an ideal training base. With this estate and the abundance of ninjutsu from the future in his memory, all he had to do afterward was to recruit a bunch of loyal and reliable people, and in the shortest time possible, he would be able to produce batch after batch of expert shinobi.

This would be his future 'training base'!
