Chapter 343: Completion

This chapter is updated by NovelFree.ml

Just as what Fang Yu have known earlier, there were three layers in the Underground Colony.

Common Layer, where most of the residents reside.

Median Layer, where only the rich and the other Djinns reside.

And finally the Exalted Layer, which is the residence of Solomon.

Currently at that layer, all of Solomon’s remaining Djinns were having a meeting.

Excluding already dead Djinns, the remaining 5 Djinns were all having a meeting at the Exalted Layer.

“Bang!” A wooden table was smashed to pieces as an extremely angry voice sounded out.

“Why is this shit happening now?” Someone among the 5 Djinns complained as they heard Solomon’s roars of anger. “Lord Solomon was supposed to be slumbering right now….”

“Well what can we do about it? Lord Solomon is awake now, so we have no choice but to tend to him.” Shax said as he looked quite solemn.

“….”

From what the Djinns have known before, Solomon was only supposed to wake up once he was fully healed from his injuries.

But for whatever reason there is, Solomon suddenly just woke up weeks ago even though he still had some heavy injuries.

Because of this sudden awakening, Solomon’s mind was affected, making his behavior and attitude extremely eccentric.

Basically, Solomon’s a loco now.

With this unfortunate event, the three of the 5 Djinns have no choice but to take care of the ill Solomon, while the remaining two will continue guarding the Common and the Exalted Layer.

These two guarding Djinn were actually Shax and Stolas.

“Hmph, you talk quite big, since you were not here while we take care of him!” The Djinn that smashed the wooden table earlier retorted as he hefted a light orb on his shoulders.

This light orb shone brightly, providing the light source in the dim Exalted Layer. At a closer look, once can assume as if this Djinn was holding a star that he carried it on his shoulders.

As for this Djinn’s body, it was slender but also muscular. None of the Djinns can see his facial expression as his whole body was covered with tattoos depicting certain worship and sacrifice rituals.

All in all, this Djinn looked like the typical delinquent cultivator.

Shax and Stolas were inwardly grimacing as they imagined how painful holding that light orb must be.

This light-orb bearing Djinn was named Phenex, one of last three Djinns that Fang Yu did not meet yet.

“Because we three are forced to stay here, we are not even allowed to go out even if we wanted to! Because of that we did not know what was happening outside!” Phenex grumbled as he spat on the ground.

“The only reason we knew about the rebellion happening right now was because Solomon allowed us to look!” Phenex said as he pointed to a mirror placed in front of them.

For whatever reason there is, the insane Solomon suddenly just placed a mirror here minutes ago, commanding the three Djinns guarding him to see the mayhem happening.

It was at that moment earlier that Shax and Stolas also arrived.

Together, all 5 of them watched as Fang Yu ‘amassed’ almost all of the Soul Fighters in the Underground Colony. Another thing that made those 5 Djinns worried was the fact that Fang Yu looked like one of the aspects of the Goddess they fought before!

“Why did you do nothing about this? You were supposed to guard there!” Phenex complained as he berated Shax and Stolas. “You two are the only ones able to maintain the peace in those areas since we are forced to stay here. And this is what we see? How pathetic!”

“Kuh!” Shax said nothing about this, as he wanted to not gain suspicion from the three Djinns.

But one of the last two Djinns frowned as if he saw realized something.

This Djinn wore a black robe that covered his whole body. Even though his appearance was unseen, one can feel an evil aura coming from him. This aura was so evil that the other 4 Djinns around him were slightly distanced away from him.

His black robes shifted as he started questioning Shax and Stolas.

“Hold on… This rebellion is almost impossible to happen if you two were just doing your job properly. Could it be… that you were cooperating with them?”

“Oh, so that is what you are up to now Andromalius? You really know no shame!” Shax answered back as he hid the quaver in his voice. Out of all the Djinns in this place, the one that he was most wary about was this Andromalius.

“Hehehe.” Andromalius’ robes slightly parted as a rotten arm went out of it. This disgusting-looking arm was suddenly pointed to Shax as Andromalius said,

“Try saying that again while holding my hand. Who knows, you might be using your Illusion Nature Power right now to lie to us. If you answer me while holding my hand, I am sure you will not be able to cheat us anymore.”

Shax and Stolas secretly rotated their power as they thought that any moment now, these 3 Djinns might attack them.

Both sides were tense, as if only a needle drop could be enough to tip the shaky balance.

But before anything could happen, they heard another roar of pain, which made them stop on their tracks.

“The frequency of his pain outbursts are increasing everyday….” The one who said this was the final Djinn among them.

If Shax was extremely wary of Andromalius, as for the final Djinn, what he could only feel was fear.

After all, this Djinn was the strongest one among them, and even right now, Shax was still horrified by this Djinn’s power.

This said Djinn wore a suit of armor, hiding his appearance and his body. But his sheer size was so imposing that he easily towered over every Djinn in the room!

Aside from that, there was also an eight-legged horse beside him. The horse let out a fierce neigh as its crazed eyes stared at the other Djinns, as if it was challenging them to a fight.

“Hey there Sleipy. Calm down.” The armored Djinn said as he caressed Sleipy’s mane.

“Neigh…..” Sleipy closed its eyes in satisfaction, as if what the armored Djinn did to it was extremely satisfying.

This armored Djinn was Beleth, considered by many to be Solomon’s right-hand man!

Beleth’s armored clanked as he walked towards a large mountain.

While walking there, he started talking to the other Djinns, as if he could not wait to speak out.

“This is the 4,537th time that Lord Solomon wailed in pain today.” All of them winced as they heard another wail.

Beleth let out a sigh as they neared the mountain.

“I heard that because of his current mental state, Lord Solomon’s hand actually went out, initiating a rampage at the surface of the planet……”

All the Djinns there were silent as they silently mourned for the deaths of Orias and the other Djinns who escaped to the surface.

“Hmph, if they did not leave Lord Solomon, then they could still be alive! After all, Lord Solomon will not hurt us, his loyal followers!” Andromalius boasted as they reached the mountain.

Beleth’s body slightly trembled after hearing what Andromalius said, but it only lasted for a second.

Shax saw this, as a glint flashed across his eyes.

“Ok, this is the 147th attempt for us to reach Lord Solomon’s real body.” Beleth clapped his hands as he looked at his fellow Djinns.

“Our goal here is to find a way to either make Lord Solomon sleep once more or to at least find a way to cure his mental injuries.”

Beleth’s gaze lingered slightly at Shax and Stolas as he said,

“No dirty tricks ok? If any of you attempts to do something fishy, I will personal ‘clean’ it up!”

“Yeah yeah yeah…..” Shax replied nonchalantly as he hid the waves of nervousness on his heart.

At the instant that Beleth placed his palms on the mountain, the whole structure shivered, as its whole body began to crack.

While watching this happening, Shax let out a sigh as he thought to himself,

“F**k you Lin Fang! If you did not just have our Items, we will not do this s**tty mission! Hell, you can even call this a suicide mission! Huhuhuhu, will I still be able to see my lovely Shamaila…..”
