Translator: Guy Gone Bad

Li Qinghao clenched his fists tightly with bulging veins standing out. Deep inside he was trying to calm himself down from emotional turbulence. He knew that Han Mingxu could feel his strong feeling.

He loosened his grips slowly and forced a smile, “Sorry to disturb you, Grandpa Han. My name is Li Qinghao.” He had a clean and calm voice. However, no one knew how hard he tried to make himself sound calm.

“Good kid, come here. Sit.” Mr. Han looked very easygoing and lived a secluded life as he usually stayed home to do some gardening work.

As Han Mingxu and Li Qinghao walked in, Han Mingxu put his arm around Li Qinghao’s waist and whispered, “why were you even more excited than me to meet my grandpa?Huh?” He meant to be joking but it sounded like he was prying in Li Qinghao. His lips made a twitch and tried to say something when Han Mingxu continued, “it makes sense. You have to meet your parents-in-law eventually.” He released him and sat by the table satisfactorily.

He turned out to be joking, which made Li Qinghao much relieved..

The three of them were having a great dinner time. Han Mingxu behaved like a gentleman but he was still like a child in front of his grandpa. Li Qinghao could sense that Han Mingxu respected his grandpa, which quite confused him.

Sensing his stare, Han Mignxu looked up and gave him a gentle smile, not as complicated as it used to be.

Li Qinghao immediately looked away.

The car pulled over on the way. Bang! Nancheng Lie patted on the steering wheel hard. His second brother’s words were lingering around his ears. Why was Mingxu with Li Qinghao again?

His gorgeous face was no longer bright. He was shadowed by anger and furiousness.

He picked up his phone and dialed Li Qinghao’s number. The first thing he needed to do was to deal with Li Qinghao but not to question Han Mingxu because if he went to Mingxu’s place to argue with him now, he would be upset.

The phone was ringing but no one answered.

Bam! Bam! Bam! Nancheng Lie pressed the horn hard while keeping calling, until it tipped that Li Qinghao’s phone was powered off.

Damn it!

He accelerated the car and drove to the direction of Han Ming’s place.

“Thank you.” Said Han Mingxu suddenly, leaning against the door of the guest room.

“What for?” Li Qinghao raised his eyebrows, a little confused.

Han Mingxu smiled gently. He raised his hand to touch Li Qinghao’s head but put it down soon enough when he realized it was not appropriate to do this on a tall man like Li Qinghao.

“I had a great dinner time and it is the happiest day I have ever had for the past 22 years.” He sounded honest, not lying at all.

Li Qinghao was silent.

“I mean it.” Han Mingxu’s smile was bitter, “I have never dreamt to enjoy such a wonderful family time. You may not understand because you have both parents around since you were born. But I…I am fine now. Soon…very soon I can have all of these and I will be free soon.”

Li Qinghao couldn’t get a point from his broken words but he did feel the way Han Mingxu felt.

What kind of life did he used to have?

“Good night.” Pushing Li Qinghao into the room, Han Mingxu closed the door and said good night while he gazed at him with affection.

When he turned around, the door was pushed open. Li Qinghao forwarded his head out of the door and asked, “Hey, what should I call you?”
