The Peak Sovereign Gnome died with his eyes opened wide, filled with hatred. Even after his death, his eyes did not move away from Klaus.
Seeing the gaze, Klaus snorted and froze the head of the Gnome, before shattering it with a punch.
"Why must you be so barbaric?" Alice asked with a frown.
Klaus grinned at her and replied, "If you were the one he was staring at in that manner, I'm sure you would've plucked out his eyes."
Alice shot Klaus a glare that made him shut up.
"We should head back, I still have to continue my exchange with Hugh." Grey said. All the Gnomes in the area were dead, so there was no point in staying here any further.
The others nodded and they started their journey back. The group rushed back to the teleportation array they used in coming to this region, before using it to teleport back to Red City. At the moment, there were multiple teleportation arrays spread across not just the Azure Continent, but also the Aurora Continent. These were arrays made by Grey for his convenience in traveling. Due to the distance between each Continent in the Aurora Continent, he had no choice. Even the Gnome World had multiple teleportation arrays after his last visit.
Getting to Red City, they reported their mission back to Grey's father.
Hearing that they were late, Lucas sighed. This was not the first troop that has been wiped out by Gnomes over the past weeks. The death toll is already in millions, this is without adding those killed before the unsealing of the passage in the Magical Beast's Forest.
Looking at the kids in front of him, he told them to leave before falling deep into thoughts. He could not help but look in a certain direction, in that direction, his wife, a potential new Half God Plane expert might be added to the ranks of the Human Race. The days went by, and every few days, Grey and the others would be sent out to either provide assistance, or to escort people that were coming to Red City's region.

In a room in Red City's Mayor's manor.
Grey was seated with both his eyes closed in a cross-legged position. His breathing was calm, inhaling and exhaling every few seconds. Void and the Bunny Leader were resting on the bed that was only a few meters away.
Currently, Grey was observing the chances in the Chaos Space. It has been a long time since he used the Chaos Space, not because he did not want to use it, but because there was barely anything it could do for him again. Most of his elements were already almost at the peak of the elemental grades, and with consistent use, he was certain he would be able to get all of them to the peak.
At the moment, he was staring at the region of the Chaos Space that he used for comprehending elements, and the previous order of eight regions which are namely: the fire region, water region, lightning region, earth region, wind region, space region, darkness region, and light region.
The previous status quo is currently breaking as a new region is starting to appear. This region made of plants and trees appeared very close to the earth region. At first it was only a few meters wide. As Grey continued to watch, it went from just a few meters to over a hundred meters in a matter of thirty minutes.
Seeing the region expand, Grey could barely contain his excitement. He has been studying the wood element with Hugh for the past month now, exposing himself to the wood element as well as the wood essence almost every single day. Other than the days he spent completing missions, his rest time was spent studying the wood element. If it was anyone else, they would be tired of being made to use the wood element over and over again, while also explaining how it feels. However, Hugh was different, his love for the wood element ensured that he would never be tired of speaking on it. Since one was willing to teach, while the other was ever ready to learn, they did not get tired of their sessions.
After weeks of constant exposure to the wood element, Grey's Chaos Space was finally showing signs of developing the wood element. In the past, this was the best way for him to comprehend new elements. Unlike the wood element, the essence of the other elements were already present in the world, so the Chaos Space did not go through such a transformation. The wood element is new to the Human World, making it hard for it to appear in the Chaos Space.
A few more hours later, the size of the wood region is already almost the same as the other regions.
Grey looked at it with fiery eyes, "Now I can start!"
