Chapter 2266: Invitation

Tang Shaoyang was swift with his action. Right after the portal gate was moved into a more secure area, he departed for the Administrator Space. Khaya and Ira had arranged the mission, prepared the team, and also posted the mission properly.

Six other teams joined the mission, and he saw a familiar face. Team Kalisto, under Atilla’s lead, joined the mission, and a team from the Dragon Realm also joined.

More than a hundred people joined, including the Admin Helpers. Because of them, he had to take it slow, letting them benefit from the mission before clearing the abandoned world. But the rule was a rule. He could not collect his materials if he didn’t follow the rule.

The good news was that he didn’t need Arion or Clementine to accompany him. It took three missions of clearing abandoned worlds to get rid of their doubt. It meant he was in full control of the mission.

He scanned the room where he was supposed to brief the mission or give a speech before leaving for the mission. Yet he did nothing of those.

"We will depart right away!"

As he finished his swords, he told Adam to teleport them. Their destination was called Wintermont, once a place ruled by the Snow Elf, Polaris, and the Ice Troll.

Khaya was a Snow Elf, but he didn’t know if this was her ancestor’s world or not. He didn’t pry unless she wanted to share it with him.

Polaris was a beast, a bear folk. If he had to come to reference, they were the polar bears of beastmen. Ice Troll was a troll with Ice Elemental Power. They kept their stupid regeneration, but they also commanded the power of ice.

Based on the report, the world had been abandoned for more than one thousand years. No one tried to clear, and this would be the first attempt. It was old with zero attempts. That was why Tang Shaoyang told Vandir that he could test his creation in this place. There was more likely a Rank 10 or even Rank 11 Calamity in this place.

The whole room was teleported into the fortress made by the System in Wintermont. He was standing on the platform, and the participants were standing below him.

"Khaya and Ira will brief you on how we will clear this abandoned world."

Tang Shaoyang led his team to take over the rest as his figure blurred, going to the fortress wall. As usual, he summoned half of the Skelly Family and twenty spirits. He then sent them out, and their duty was to scout the world, finding where the Rank 9, Rank 10, and Rank 11 Calamities were.

That was the usual strategy for the first few days. It was a boring first few days for him, letting the Chief Administrator and lower-ranked Administrator experience the calamity first before the actual cleaning started.

[Let me out too. I want to have a few tests.] Vandir requested with an eagerness in his voice.

"Later."

He scanned the landscape that was covered in black snow. There was a reason why winter was etched in this world’s name because it never stopped snowing, just like winter.

But being infested by Calamity creatures for too long. It turned the snow black. The land was covered in thick black snow. Everything was black, even the trees, leaves, and boulders, blackened. It was not because it was covered in snow, but they were all just black.

"Is this black snow harmful? Is it poisonous?" He muttered in wonder.

There was no record of this world since this was the first expedition. The barrier that protected the fortress stopped the snow from piling inside. He needed to go out to test it out.

He was about to go out to check it out until he sensed a presence coming over. He turned toward the direction and found a draconian, or maybe draconic or dragon-folk or dragonkin.

Tang Shaoyang was really unsure because he had met their kind more than ten times, and each had introduced themselves differently.

"Sir," the figure greeted him.

He responded with a nod, "Do you need something from me?"

"Do you not recognize me, Sir?"

Tang Shaoyang frowned, trying to recall if he had ever met this Dragonkin. He didn’t really remember anything, shaking his head.

"I guess you have been busy with your problem. Our first meeting is when my team and I handle the summoned Void Creature in a world called Aqura. That might ring a bell with you."

Tang Shaoyang remembered when the specific event was mentioned. It was the first time he met and got to know about the existence of the Administrator. It was a team that handled the kraken-like Void Creature. The team that sealed the gate to the Void Gate when he fought the God Rank from Aqura.

"It seems you still remember, but maybe not my name. My name is Krazon."

Tang Shaoyang truly could not remember his name. Even when the Dragonkin reintroduced himself again.

"It seems you are busy, so I will be straight to the point. It’s about my invitation when we first met. Do you want to visit the Dragon Realm, Sir?"

He frowned, recalling their first meeting. He didn’t remember the invitation, but he remembered that Krazon asked him to visit his clan if he ever planned to visit the Dragon Realm.

Now, out of nowhere, Krazon invited him. From the sound of it, it was not Krazon who invited him, more like an invitation from his clan. Krazon or his clan wanted something from him.

Tang Shaoyang wanted to visit the Dragon Realm, but he didn’t have access to it. Not just anyone could visit the place, after all. And visiting the Dragon Realm was no longer in his top priority list.

However, he indeed had business in the Dragon and planned to visit the realm before he started his battle against the Nirvana Alliance and the God Realm.

One of the factions in the Nirvana Alliance was a clan in the Dragon Realm. He needed to pay a visit to see the state of the dragon realm. How did it work between the factions in the Dragon Realm? He was not afraid of the Dragon Realm, but it would be bad for his people if his conflict with one clan involved the whole realm.

"There’s more behind this invitation, right?"

Krazon reacted; a flicker change in his eyes was enough to tell that there was truly something behind the invitation.

"I don’t really like schemes and deceit, Krazon. If this invitation is out of goodwill, you’d better be honest with me."
