Chapter 2939 – One Each

The Ninedragon Imperial Tomb immediately fired a blast toward the battlefield. The ship had much more destructive potential than any of the astral gods ahead, forcing everyone to have no choice but to evade. The five fighters were forced apart by the resulting explosion.

Before Tianming arrived, Xiaodao had been fighting two people at once and feeling some pressure. They were actual foundationeers that were somewhat stronger than Ba Xiao, after all, so they were by no means pushovers. In fact, Xiaodao was a newcomer to the Foundation stage; he wouldn’t have stood a chance at all if it weren’t for his two amazing cosmic artifacts.

As for Wudi, he relied solely on the Thousand Foundation Divine Puppet. The Flameyellow Coffin wasn’t available for use and it wasn’t realistic for him to hold back even one foundationeer; the best he could do was hold on without losing outright.

If Tianming hadn’t arrived, the two of them would have eventually been defeated. As they weren’t considered valuable hostages, they could have been killed outright! Fortunately, Tianming had come quickly enough and scattered them, forcing their foundation fortresses apart as well.

“Take one each!” Xiaodao said, hurriedly reacting to the current situation. He knew that there was no point in stopping Tianming from fighting. Every second counted, so wasting any moment in a futile attempt to convince Tianming to leave was akin to wasting the lives of the Sun’s inhabitants.

Tianming and Wudi immediately picked their respective opponents. Xiaodao knew that he was the strongest among them, so he targeted the oldest foundationeer in the hopes that he could quickly take care of him. Tianming and Moran, on the other hand, were going to fight the strongest of the three foundationeer foes!

“Disciple, you’re the best at surviving, so I’ll let you handle the strongest one. Hold on until I manage to tip the scales in our favor!” Xiaodao said, his voice ringing beside Tianming’s ear.

“Oh, quit boasting. Just don’t take more time on the weakest one than I do on the strongest one!” Tianming felt no fear at all. He charged out of the Ninedragon Imperial Tomb, his eyes shining. He had become at least thirty percent stronger than when he’d killed Ba Xiao!

The faith of his subjects congregated in his body. Right as he arrived at the battlefield, everyone knew that he was about to fight again and felt their blood boiling—even the lifebound beasts! All that energy flowed into his body through his cosmic charts, then was transferred to his totems, lifebound beasts, and divine wonders. All aspects of him had been strengthened.

Behind Tianming in the ship were fifty Morans, all of them within the Silverdragon Palace. With Ji Ji’s help, they once more deployed the ephemeral world and eightpart apparition wonders. Moran was in a state where she could use the two divine wonders to their full potential! Even with four foundation fortresses around the area, the ephemeral world wonder was easily able to encompass them all.

In that instant, white fog appeared on the battlefield, creating all sorts of illusions within. The three enemy foundationeers were definitely somewhat affected by the illusions. Not to mention, even more elites from Intrepidus had arrived to join the fray.

It was no longer a three-on-three battle, but three-on-twenty-nine! The number would only continue growing from there. However, Tianming couldn’t care less about the cosmic cartographers and focused only on the foundationeers.

The fifty sisters furrowed their brows as their bodies heated up from channeling energy into the two divine wonders, fighting at Tianming’s side. The one Tianming was fighting was the green-robed elder. He was called Su Tian and was the second-in-command on Intrepidus, subservient only to Demoness Yin and nobody else. He was someone she considered an uncle.

Before someone like that, Tianming was all too fresh. Su Tian’s gaze didn’t lose even the slightest bit of haughty arrogance as he let nine spikes fly around him. With a wave, green storms formed around his astral giant form right away. He seemed even more threatening than Ba Xiao.

However, right as Su Tian channeled his power, Tianming’s grand lexicon wonder began working its magic on his galactic body. Su Tian would get the full suite of debuffs that Ba Xiao had! The words began to suppress and seal off his galactic body before duplicating themselves. Su Tian noticed it with a frown and exploded with rage.

“What kind of trick is this?!” he said, somewhat shocked.

Tianming had to admit that the grand lexicon wonder was far more useful than he’d initially imagined, now that he’d gotten used to it. I bet I’ll be able to dictate the laws themselves when it grows into its full form! That was a terrifying prospect indeed. For instance, the word ‘death’ behaved like a plague. As it duplicated itself throughout Su Tian’s body, it would invade one astral body after another in the giant, causing them to dim and begin to die!

I’m actually forty percent stronger than when I was fighting Ba Xiao! Tianming was quite delighted at that realization. The Xia words seemed to be self-replicating at a much faster rate than before, and the short phrases that they formed were even more powerful and greatly suppressed Su Tian’s combat potential. “Little Fish, you should use your divine wonders to help my master!”

“Okay!”

The two divine wonders gathered near Xiaodao. Tianming wasn’t trying to help him gain an edge; he was simply confident enough that he could take on the foundationeer without their help. “No, I’m not confident in myself, but the people who believe in me!”

The fact that his combat prowess was continually rising was a good omen, a sign that he was treading on the most righteous path. “As long as I keep causing miracles, the masses will keep supporting me to be able to create further miracles! Is there anything more touching than that?”

“Kill!” Tianming’s lifebound beasts had jumped the gun and charged ahead of him.

“Pull off his beard! Pluck all the hairs out!” Meow Meow roared.

“This old guy thinks he’s some kind of hot shit, eh? Look at that groomed beard!” Ying Huo mocked.

“Chaaaaarge!”

Tianming followed behind them, all of them enjoying a boost from Ji Ji.

Trillions of Omnisentient Threads seemed to take corporeal form around Tianming. Even though he was still a cosmic cartographer, his body shone brighter than the astral giant before him!
