Chapter 2953 – Fight With Miss Jiang

This chapter is updated by JustRead.pl

Feiling’s body and wings blazed with golden flames. If Tianming could see her now, he would definitely recall that flames of that color had a special name: Soulburn. Soulburn Hall in the Archaion Sect got its name from them. However, Soulburn was more intense than it was before. It formed a golden ball of flames that shot into the sky. The sacred, majestic inferno made the astral gods feel as if they were burning; even the wonderians in the distance were frightened.

“What’s that?”

“I don’t know! She’s not a foundationeer. How can her power be comparable to one?”

“Don’t be afraid, it’s just a bluff. She doesn’t have the foundation fortress of a foundationeer! Now that’s more deadly than anything else!”

Some wonderians had entered the battlefield and were already fighting the astral gods of the Sun. It was all flesh-and-blood combat! And as time went by, the number of wonderians would only increase.

“Avenge the rex mundi!”

“Kill them! Kill them all!”

Meng Ying’s death was an ache that couldn’t be erased from their hearts. He was the person they’d admired the most, yet he had inexplicably died before the war had even started. The wonderians couldn’t accept it. Like Demoness Yin and Mister Taihe, Meng Ying should have tortured Tianming, Xiaodao, and the rest to death.

However, something happened just as they dismissed Feiling. The divine manifestations on her blazing wings shone brighter, each of them seeming to come alive. Each of the feathers was a brick on the city walls. When all of them finally lit up, time and space shook and an illusory spacetime city instantly covered the entire battlefield. It was larger than all the wonders and foundation fortresses put together.

As soon as the wonderians entered its scope, they felt as if they were stepping into quicksand. Space was sealed and time slowed down, making it difficult for them to move forward at all. Their wonders even grew distorted and less effective due to the loss of control. On the other hand, the astral gods of the Sun weren’t affected at all. In fact, they could move even better and began speeding up.

“It’s her!”

How could the elders not recognize Feiling? Although she wasn’t as active in the war as Moran, they all knew that she was Tianming’s beloved, the only one in his heart. She had always been inconspicuous, easygoing, and gentle. No one could have imagined that she would burst out with such power at the critical moment. The light from the golden flames was seared into their hearts as Perpetia City swept away their sadness and despair, igniting hope in their hearts.

“Follow her!”

“We haven’t lost yet! There’s still hope! Kill! Kill them!”

The astral gods seemed to come back to life, their eyes and throats burning as they ferociously roared. Death was their fate and killing would be their final triumph. Their fighting spirit surpassed the wonderians, who were suppressed as soon as they entered the battlefield.

Mister Taihe and the two Intrepideans could see it all very clearly.

“What kind of power is that…. What other secrets is this star hiding?!”

Mr. Taihe’s pupils spun as he desperately tried to see through Feiling, but failed. There wasn’t enough time for him to continue pondering, though, as she was already headed toward the bloody cocoon.

“The wonderians are here. Deal with Lin Xiaodao and leave this woman to me.” Mister Taihe roared, turning into a white light that shot toward Feiling. Approaching from the side, he pressed his foundation fortress down on her. The power of his order shook her gold wings but was immediately repelled by ripples spreading out from the golden light and deflected toward the wonderians. Vast swathes of them died on the spot, their bodies crumbling and heptastar organs shattering into pieces.

“What?” Mister Taihe’s gaze changed. An ominous glint appeared in his eye as his five pupils rotated, forming a vortex. However, Perpetia City was already eyeing him. In an instant, a spacetime vortex appeared as various forces enveloped his body.

“You’re no foundationeer! How can you be so strong?!” Mister Taihe exclaimed. By the time he was done speaking, Mister Taihe was already in front of Feiling, his flesh so powerful his every move caused explosions in the air. Even with the suppression of Perpetia City, his tyrannical strength still had the power to crush everything in his path.

Feiling merely stared back at him with those fiery eyes. A spear made of golden feathers appeared in her hand.

“Anyone who stands in my way will die!”

It was hard to imagine that a gentle girl like her could utter those words with such force that it shook Mister Tianhe to the core. He was furious. “How rude! You deserve to die!” he roared, his large eye gradually turning red as the power within him grew more violent.

Gold and white collided in the center of the battlefield. Fortresses of order and spacetime fought to suppress each other! Xiaodao and Wudi were stunned; they couldn’t figure out how Feiling’s fragile limbs could stand up against a beast like Mister Taihe.

Her power bore down on Mister Taihe. Instead of gaining the upper hand, he suffered numerous cuts from the sharp feathers! After merging all twelve of his cosmic charts and transforming into a minor astral giant, he had grown to over ten meters tall. Feiling was tiny compared to the enormous white giant in front of her, yet his robust flesh had no advantage over her.

Feiling was like a bird in Perpetia City. Gold light flashed as the spear in her hand pierced Mr. Taihe’s body again and again. Her eyes were solely focused on the bloody cocoon, but she knew that Mister Taihe would do everything to stop her even if she managed to restrain him for the time being.

The intensity of the golden flames made it hard for the astral gods of the Sun to breathe. Despite choking on the flames, the astral gods, led by Xiaodao, roared, their eyes brimming with tears. Although Feiling’s burst in strength was most likely temporary, it had still given them a chance to recover.

“Brothers and sisters of the Sun, attack with Miss Jiang!”
