“That’s amazing, Big Brother Huang! I love gentlemanly men like you,” Ji Qianqian said, eyelids fluttering as she looked like she was tearing up from gratitude. She spoke in an intentionally cutesy voice that Tianming could barely resist. He couldn’t imagine how Huang Jihuang felt about it from even closer.

Tianming was speechless as he was completely ignored. He asked Li Fan about the situation through Yin Chen.

Li Fan’s expression immediately changed when he heard the name ‘Huang Jihuang’. “Please, I beg you, don’t say anything and immediately bow and run! He’s from House Huang. The leader of their house is right above you in Skyward Hall! He’s a reverend! Being an ancient house, House Huang has more than two thousand members in Myriadpath Valley! They’re all skyghouls, and even my master was under their control. My master even had to bow and submit to that Huang Jihuang brat. Don’t ever try taking anything from him.”

Yin Chen couldn’t be bothered to orally deliver all those words, so it simply arranged its bodies into text within the lifebound space. Tianming was speechless after reading it. “I’m not the one taking things from him. He’s robbing what’s mine.”

“So what? What’s the difference? Brother! Dear Brother! I beg you, run now! If you’re frustrated, I’ll be your punching bag when you get out! Will that heal your heart?” Li Fan sounded like he was about to cry.

“Fine! Damn it!” Even though it was a mere loss of a thousand-odd points, Tianming felt incredibly miffed about not even being allowed to challenge him. She cheered after getting those points and leapt into Huang Jihuang’s embrace like a happy little animal. With her assets plastered against his body and her eyes gazing into his, she said in the gentlest voice she could muster, “Big Brother Huang, you’re so nice to me! Qianqian didn’t think that she would ever meet her true love in her lifetime, but Qianqian’s so glad to have met Big Brother Huang!”

“Very well. Haha…” Huang Jihuang chuckled and put his arm around her slim waist. If it weren’t for the fact that they were on the Skyward Grandpath, he wouldn’t have been able to resist going further.

Tianming watched the entire thing, pissed. It had nothing to do with him. Standing around there after the galactic starbeast had been stolen from him was pointless. But no matter how angry he was, he recognized that lashing out before he found a backer would be incredibly childish. But he couldn’t bring himself to bow and leave like Li Fan suggested, so he merely turned away. What he didn’t expect was that he would hear a voice calling out at him from behind before he went far.

“Li Tianming of the Greenhaze Mundus, stop.” The fact that Ji Qianqian hadn’t mentioned the Infinitum Mundus meant that she hadn’t recognized him and had only read his name from the myriadpath ring.

Tianming felt two gazes on him. He knew that if he made any sudden moves, they might attack him, so he turned back and forced a smile. In a calm voice, he asked, “How may I help?”

Ji Qianqian raised her chin high without replying. Instead, she turned back to Huang Jihuang like a cute little bunny. “Big Brother Huang, I need you to help me with one little thing….”

“Let me hear it,” Huang Jihuang said, being in a good mood.

“Can you help me kill this person?” Ji Qianqian ignored Tianming, but wanted him dead.

Something audibly snapped in Tianming’s head when he heard that and the black mist in his eyes began swirling. He was the one who had defeated the galactic starbeast, and he’d let her steal it from under his nose without a single complaint. He was just about to leave them alone, yet she went overboard and wanted him dead, completely ignoring what he thought about it and only caring about Huang Jihuang’s opinion.

Huang Jihuang held her tightly by the waist and smirked. “Why?”

Ji Qianqian blinked in a cute manner and looked at the Skyward Ranking. “Look. This fellow’s on the ranking with more than two thousand points. If I kill him and take his points, I’ll have seven thousand points. My admission to Myriadpath Valley would be even more secure, and I’ll be able to spend the rest of my life with you.”
