Chapter 3938: The Formation of the Skyscraping World

Gazing at the ownerless seed of ways hovering in front of them, none of these Immortal Exalts felt any joy.

With all the developments so far, no one cared about the seed of ways anymore. Before Jian Chen exposed the sovereign god artifact, the seed of ways was indeed the biggest attraction, a treasure that they would all fight over for.

A while later, Xing Caijian landed on the ground. She carried the ancient sword in her hand. The glow she gave off subsided as she directly appeared before the seed of ways.

The seed of ways did not flee. Perhaps it had run out of power, or perhaps it did not reject Xing Caijian.

“Where is Yang Yutian? Have you seen him, seniors?” Xing Caijian’s gaze paused on the seed of ways for a moment before glancing at the Immortal Exalts in the surroundings. Her tone was not rude, but it was not particularly respectful either.

“Princess Caijian, the reason why you showed such special attention to Yang Yutian earlier was probably because you sensed the sovereign god artifact on him, right? Are you also interested in the sovereign god artifact, princess Xing Caijian?” a Second Heavenly Layer Immortal Exalt asked sternly.

When she heard that, Xing Caijian’s expression changed slightly. She had already realised that Jian Chen’s sovereign god artifact had been exposed.

At this moment, a hunch-backed figure appeared before Xing Caijian. She was Lan Caidie, the vice cult leader of the Ghost Immortal cult.

Because she had used the Remains of the Ghost Immortal recently, Lan Caidie seemed extremely feeble. Her face was sheet-white as she swayed around as she stood there. She seemed like she could fall over at any moment.

“Vice leader of the Ghost Immortal cult, you actually still have the courage to show yourself here? You’ve opposed so many of us again and again. Aren’t you afraid of bringing devastation to your Ghost Immortal cult?” Lan Caidie’s appearance infuriated many Immortal Exalts.

In order to save Jian Chen, it could be said that Lan Caidie had virtually offended everyone here.

“What happened?” Xing Caijian furrowed her brows and stared at Lan Caidie.

“Your highness, fellow Yang Yutian is in danger. A late Immortal Exalt has gone after him,” Lan Caidie said immediately. She was not concerned about Jian Chen originally. Not only did Lan Caidie’s claim raise Xing Caijian’s doubts, but none of the Immortal Exalts present believed her either. Even in some peak organisations, a late Immortal Exalt was a paramount figure who held up the entire organisation. They would rarely ever appear in public.

“Vice cult leader Lan, how can you prove what you said is true?” Xing Caijian stared at Lan Caidie in interest.

“I can’t, as I haven’t seen an expert like that either. However, Yang Yutian told me that it has been confirmed by the artifact spirit,” Lan Caidie said with difficulty.

Towards the back, Zuo Dao and the Heavenloss Master appeared. Their presences were rather chaotic, and they seemed quite ruffled up.

They also heard what Lan Caidie said. Their eyes were filled with shock. They also found it to be difficult to believe.

“A late Immortal Exalt? Why would someone like that conceal their identity to enter the Skyscraping World?” the Heavenloss Master muttered to himself. The three hundred-odd figures who entered the Skyscraping World appeared in his head as he analysed each face closely.

On the other side, Xing Caijian became extremely stern. Suddenly, she placed the ancient sword on her back before bringing her hands together, unleashing a secret technique.

In the next moment, a unique presence radiated from her body, merging with space and filling the surroundings.

Shortly afterwards, the Skyscraping World immediately darkened as if the sun had set and the curtain of night had descended. Many shining stars appeared in the sky in this dark space. Cluster after cluster appeared as if the sky was filled with stars. They were countless.

At that moment, the sky of the Skyscraping World seemed to become a tremendous cosmos, radiating with a chilling pressure.

“This is… one of the Skyscraping World’s peak formations?”

“Don’t tell me it’s the Heavenly Star Palace’s renowned paramount formation, A Galaxy a World? It’s said that the Chaotic Star Heavenly Emperor had personally participated in erecting the protective formations of the Skyscraping World.”

“It might not necessarily be A Galaxy a World, but it’s definitely a peak organisation of the same level from the Chaotic Star Heavenly Emperor.”

Looking at the sky that had already changed in colour, the expressions of many of the Immortal Exalts present changed drastically.

They could already tell that this was one of the peak formations of the Skyscraping World, but they never imagined that Xing Caijian could actually use this formation with her strength as an Immortal Emperor.
