Two girls about the same age as Cain, came out of the carriage, supported by a maid.
Both of them were trembling and holding each other’s hand. The shrine maiden was trembling as well.
They looked around and saw the orc corpses, the dead knights, and the heavily injured knights that made them turn pale.
One of the girls had a blonde hair up to her shoulders, while the other girl had brown hair up to her chest. Both the girls were dressed like noble children.
The moment he saw their faces, Garm showed a surprised look and then quickly headed to the blonde girl and bowed in respect.
Cain takes the same posture.
“Cain, this here is her highness, Princess Telestia, and Miss Silk.”

Seeing them holding Cain’s hand, Garm began laughing.

Garm said and started walking towards his carriage.
Cain also rushed and tried to enter the carriage, however.

“We are worried about being alone, so I want Cain to be with us in our carriage.”

After the short conversation, Cain placed the knights wrapped in white sheets in the designated place.
Usually, if a knight dies on duty, someone will take a piece of his equipment as a memento for his family, and the body would either be buried on the side of the road or burned on the spot.
