Two of the attacked knights went ahead and rushed into the castle’s Knight Headquarters.
“There is an urgent report. Please contact the captain or vice captain,” one of the knights said.
“The captain is not in the capital right now. I think the vice-captain should be here, so let’s go to him instead,” one knight in the station said while entering.
In the office was Dime von Ghazat, Deputy General of the Knights of the Guard.
The knight who was tasked with escorting the Princess immediately reported to him.
“What?! Fifty orcs?! Are the princess and Miss Silk safe?”
Dime slammed the desk and stood up, filled with shock and worries.
“Yes, ten of us tried to defend the carriage, and we managed to kill 20 of them. But we were vastly outnumbered. Four people died, and the rest were heavily injured, and it seemed that we were on our wit’s end before reinforcement came.” The escort knight kept talking.
“Then, a boy about ten years old came to help. He was the third son of Margrave Garm named Cain. He annihilated the remaining orcs himself using his magic and swordsmanship. He was fighting at a speed that we couldn’t follow. “

The lord of the castle, His Majesty Rex Terra Esfort, Prime Minister Magna von Terrahart, Duke Eric von Santana Malpeque, and Dime, the Deputy Knight, were all gathered in a room.
Dime began retelling the report reported by the escort knight.
“I’m sorry for the sudden gathering. Actually, the carriage carrying Princess Telesia and Miss Silk was attacked by a horde of fifty orcs.”
“What!? Are they safe?”
“What?!”
King Rex and Duke Eric slammed the desk and exclaimed as they got up.
“Yes. Out of the ten knights guarding them, four people were killed before they were able to kill twenty of orcs. The one that saved them was Cain when they were unable to hold on any longer. Cain came and went on to destroy the remaining orcs alone.”
“What?!” All the people exclaimed this time, they were too shocked.
“Isn’t the child of Margrave Garm studying at the school in the capital?” The Prime Minister Magna questioned Deputy Knight Dime.
“No, it was the ten years old, the third son, who’s going to attend this year’s announcement, that rescued the princess and Miss Silk,” Dime replied.
“Is that true that he is ten years old?” One lord asked.
“I heard about Cain from the Knights who accompanied him, but they said he was a genius who, while only being ten years old, was already able to cast advanced magic skillfully.”
“A ten years old using advanced magic…” they mumbled.
“And what’s amazing is that Cain, after destroying the orcs, healed all of the knights with recovery magic, and stored the orcs and the corpses of the knights in the item box before heading towards the capital.” Deputy Knight Dime continued.

“I have never seen such a human being. And since Cain is the third son, so he shouldn’t have the right to inherit the head title,” Duke Eric analyzed.
“And also Her Highness Princess Telestia and Miss Silk are already obsessed with Cain, and they seem to have sit together with him inside the carriages and entangled their arms on both sides…”

King Rex and Duke Eric’s face cramped.
“And he is only ten years old. I was wondering … how does the boy feel about this, Dime?”
“No… I don’t have that information on me.” Deputy Knight Dime received a chilly stare from the King and answered with a cold sweat.
“Magna, what do you think we should do?” King Rex asked.
“Cain is the third son, so there is little chance of him inheriting his father’s title. How about granting him his own title so that he can have his own house? In the future, he won’t have any problem with marrying anyone. Although there were instances where Cain was beautified in their story, in their eyes, Cain was already some sort of prince charming. Moreover, they talked happily about Cain.
King Rex and Duke Eric sighed.
“So, in the report, I heard that both Teles and Miss Silk fell in love with Cain,” King Rex mused.
With those words, both the girls blushed as they turned their face down.
“Looks like the reports are true.” Prime Minister Magna responded.
“Which one of you wants to be Cain’s fiancee?” King Rex asked them.
“I want to be!”
Realising that they both answered at the same time, Princess Telestea and Miss Silk looked at each other, causing their face to flush even more.
Both King Rex and Duke Eric sighed yet again.
“How about we engage both of you with Cain?” King Rex recommend.
“Eric, is that okay?” King Rex asked to Duke Eric.
“However, for his deeds this time, baron is the limit. If he wants to marry both Teles and Miss Silk, he must rank at least an Earl or more. How about that?” Duke Eric mentioned.
Three people, King Rex, Duke Eric, and Prime Minister Magna, smiled suspiciously.
“Okay, that way we can marry them to Cain when he is ready.” And then they came to an agreement.
It was the moment when the engagement of Princess Telestea and Miss Silk with Cain was decided, without Cain.
