“I’m looking forward to tomorrow’s party.”
Was the last thing Laysan said; then he left the room.
The next day. It was now the day of the announcement party.
In the Cain residence, while the servants were rushing back and forth inside the mansion busily, Cain was relaxing, sipping a cup of tea Silvia had made for him.
The clothes he would be wearing had all been arranged for by the king, so all Cain had to do was actually go to the royal castle when the time came.
Sitting face-to-face with Koran and discussing future matters, they waited for it to be time to depart.
“Cain-sama, the heads of families of nobles from all throughout the kingdom will go visit you today. I don’t doubt that many people will try to suck up to you who is to marry members of the royal and ducal families in the future. Please make sure to be careful.”

Cain nodded in response, and, while feeling slightly overwhelmed by the announcement party that was to take place in the evening, sipped his tea.
Having finished lunch, Cain headed to the royal castle in his carriage for the announcement party that would be happening in the evening.

As the two next to him came to an understanding, even while giving a bitter smile, Garm nodded, satisfied at Cain’s appearance.
“Cain, I could hardly even tell it was you. It’s such fine workmanship that you can make an appearance anywhere, and it won’t be a problem. I, too, am satisfied.”
After that, they had a short chat, just the family.
They hadn’t had a family chat in a long time, so the time flew by as fast as the conversation was lively.
After having chatted on for some time, there was a knock on the door; a maid had come to get them.
Garm and the other two were to wait at the venue beforehand, so, standing up from their seats, they left the room.
“Cain-kun, I’m really looking forward to this!”

With well over a hundred gazes on him, Cain took a deep breath, and began to walk forwards.
As he proudly proceeded onwards, the young ladies around his age stared at him, absolutely enchanted by his appearance.
Even while nervous, Cain walked along one step after the other, eventually arriving next to the king.
He looked out at all the nobles present from the steps; Garm and Laysan were nearer to the throne, while the lower-ranked nobles were further away.
Confirming Cain’s appearance, the king nodded, and, turning towards the gathered nobles, he opened his mouth.
“Let me introduce to you, the fiancé of Telestia, Count Cain von Silford Drintor. He might be young, but in terms of power, he is stronger than even the commander of our country’s royal knights. I have also heard the stories of his internal affairs and policies. He put that Drintor back on its feet, and it is now populous enough to even be called a large city.”

The king spurred Cain on with a small push.
“Well then, go and welcome them.”
Giving a nod to the king in response, Cain stepped forward and waited for the three of them.
