Chapter 1300 More than one...

"But… That was far more exhausting than I expected…" Muttering this to himself as he cast one last glance towards the immortal mushroom before leaving in the direction of the next fragment of the scroll of trials, Xuan Hao felt the clear sense of exhaustion that had appeared after the attack just now.

Although he had only used a single attack, it had by far been the strongest attack he had ever used since breaking through to the Late Stage of the Dao Domain Lord Realm. Having drained quite a bit of his strength.

Thankfully, he didn't really have anyone to fight afterwards, as the immortal mushroom remained in the same place, while the rest of the mushroom monsters in the mushroom forest had at most reached the Domain Lord Realm. Not really posing much of a threat to him.

Not to mention, he moved through the use of his Drifting Cloud Steps and was far above the ground where these mushroom monsters roamed. Meaning that he wouldn't really be affected by the exhaustion caused by the use of the True Spatial Collapse on top of the immortal mushroom.

At the very least, he should be able to fully recover his strength before the immortal mushroom reached a level comparable to the Middle Stage of the Dao Seed Realm where it would start to pose a threat to him.

Even though, he was a bit worried about the fact that he couldn't do any damage to the immortal mushroom, as it essentially meant that he would have no real way of fighting it when it came looking for him in the future.

The only thing he could do at that point in time, would be to avoid it and try completing the challenge of the fourth celestial trial as fast as possible and leave the mushroom forest before it grew to a level beyond the Middle Stage of the Dao Seed Realm…

Thinking about different ways that he could avoid the immortal mushroom when it came looking for him after it grew stronger, Xuan Hao soon arrived at the location of the second fragment of the scroll of trials.

However, what he saw upon reaching the location of the fragment was not what he expected, as there was yet another immortal mushroom already in the process of growing stronger in front of him, while the fragment in question was similarly located on top of it.

Knowing that it wouldn't be a good idea to waste time, Xuan Hao quickly descended towards the second immortal mushroom and grabbed the second fragment without any problems.

The immortal mushroom was still busy growing stronger and didn't have time to pay attention to him.

Of course, this didn't mean that Xuan Hao was any happier, as he understood that there should be two more immortal mushrooms at the location of the two remaining fragments.

Although they had not proven to be a problem as of now, he had already taken around two hours to reach the location of the closest fragment and reaching the other two that were even further away could take anywhere between four to five hours to reach each of them.

In the end, he was very likely to end up facing an immortal mushroom that had already reached a level comparable to the Middle Stage of the Dao Seed Realm by the point he got to the fourth fragment!

Depending on how long it will take me to get the fourth fragment, I might end up facing the combined attack of four immortal mushrooms at the Middle Stage of the Dao Seed Realm before I even find out about the challenge of this celestial trial…

Frowning to himself as he thought this, Xuan Hao could only prepare himself for the worst, as he understood that he wouldn't be able to defeat the immortal mushrooms and could only try his best to complete the challenge of the celestial trial as fast as possible.

After all, the longer he stayed inside the mushroom forest, the more dangerous it would become for him.

Even though he might stand a chance faced with four Middle Stage Dao Seed Realm immortal mushrooms with the help of his Dao of Space, there was no way for him to face the four if they managed to reach the Late Stage of the Dao Seed Realm, let alone beyond that.

At the same time that her master was busy inside the fourth celestial trial, Mui came to a stop in front of a brand-new forest filled with demon beasts before she slowly descended from the air and landed somewhere out of the way to recover the large amount of qi it had taken her to fly for an extended period of time, while at the same time taking the chance to try and assess the strength of the demon beasts living inside the forest.

After all, even though she had no idea if there were demon beasts above the Nascent Soul Realm present inside the forest, Mui still remembered that her master had told her about the dangers of moving deeper inside the mystic realm and made sure to not recklessly charge forward.

As a result of this, Mui didn't attack the moment she noticed a Nascent Soul Realm demon beast a few thousand meters away from her, but instead decided to quietly observe it and see if any stronger demon beasts appeared.

At the same time, she could also get a general outline of where powerful demon beasts lived from what places the Nascent Soul Realm demon beast avoided.

Although it would be impossible to tell if these stronger demon beasts were just in the Later Stages of the Nascent Soul Realm or if they had gone beyond that and broken through to the Domain Lord Realm, it would at the very least give her an idea of what places she should be careful around and not randomly charge into.

In the end, Mui ended up spending most of her day inside the new forest following behind different demon beasts in the Nascent Soul Realm and the Later Stages of the Core Formation Realm. Giving her a good idea of what places there might be stronger demon beasts present.

On a positive note, she did manage to deduce that the demon beasts living around the edge of the new forest weren't in the Domain Lord Realm.

The reason for this being rather simple, she hadn't been attacked.

If there really was a demon beast in the Domain Lord Realm lurking around the outer edges of the new forest, it should have already noticed her and attacked her.

After all, the divine sense of a Domain Lord Realm demon beast was far beyond that of someone in the Nascent Soul Realm. Meaning it would be able to notice her far before she had a chance to notice it.

Of course, there was also a chance that the Domain Lord Realm demon beast was busy sleeping or just didn't pay attention to its surroundings. Meaning that it didn't have a chance to notice her, but that was rather unlikely considering that doing something like that inside the mystic realm that swarmed with other similarly strong and stronger demon beasts would be a death sentence.

No matter which of the two it was, Mui was at least safe for now and didn't get attacked by any powerful demon beasts since her arrival at the new forest brimming with demon beasts for her to fight against and use to increase her own strength.

So, with that in mind, Mui found a secluded place at the edge of the forest before starting the process of breaking through to the Sixth Stage of the Nascent Soul Realm.

Considering that she had long since reached the Peak of the Fifth Stage of the Nascent Soul Realm, it was only a matter of time before she would break through naturally. So, Mui decided to put aside her training for a bit and focus on breaking through to the Sixth Stage of the Nascent Soul Realm.

Not just because she would be able to challenge stronger demon beasts, but also because it would make her safer in case, she ended up encountering a Domain Lord Realm demon beast in the future. Possibly even giving her a chance to escape from a Domain Lord Realm demon beast if she managed to make use of her artifacts.

Like this, a few hours flew by before Mui managed to successfully break through to the Sixth Stage of the Nascent Soul Realm without any problems… And having a solid foundation, there wasn't much trouble during the breakthrough, as everything went smoothly. Allowing her to rapidly consolidate her cultivation base in a short period of time-
