Fifty laps later.

Not wanting to go overboard, Su Yang released his Yang Qi when Chun Hua was almost done with her fifty-fifth lap.

“If you took the examination right now, I think you have a good chance of passing.”
“Oh? You make it sound like you know about the examination for Core Disciples, but you’re just an Outer Court disciple who recently joined the sect, so how’s that possible?”
“It’s just an assumption since you’re already so experienced and talented.”
“Why, thank you,” she chuckled.

“If I back out now, that means I cultivated with you for nothing,” he smiled.
“How mean! Do you have any idea how many people want to cultivate with me?!” Chun Hua puffed her cheeks, trying to pretend to be angry.
“Jokes aside, I am certain that I want to do this.” Su Yang suddenly turned serious.
“Okay.” Chun Hua acknowledged with a similarly serious face.
