[You have arrived at Utopia City]The Ouroboros spaceship finally arrived at their destination. The vast skyline of Utopia City stretched out before them, a bustling metropolis of advanced technology and diverse cultures. Shinta stepped out first, her eyes wide with excitement. "I am back!" she exclaimed, her voice filled with anticipation. Emery and the others followed closely behind her.
Among their party were Annara, Ronan, Master Bob, and a group of Ouroboros experts led by a grand magus elder. It was an official visit, and their arrival had been anticipated by the Zodiac faction. They were greeted by the newly advanced Grand Magus Heorgar, appointed by the faction to assist with the Ouroboros task.
"Welcome to Utopia City," Heorgar said warmly, his gaze briefly lingering on Emery and Shinta. He couldn't help but smile at the sight of the father and daughter walking side by side, witnessing their bond in person was heartwarming. Heorgar stepped forward, his demeanor professional yet friendly. "We have your lodging prepared," he continued. "I will lead you to it."
Knowing that the group would spend a few days preparing for the sites, Emery and Shinta decided to return to the academy instead. Annara, aware that she had no permit to stay at the academy, opted to remain with the group while assisting Heorgar with their tasks.
Ronan, ever curious expressed interest in seeing the academy. "Senior, you can enter with my visitor pass," Emery offered
The three of them stepped through the portal and arrived at the Alpha Academy. The cool, breezy air greeted them, and the sight of the towering mountains filled the horizon. Around them, acolytes bustled about, engaged in their daily routines, adding to the vibrant atmosphere of the academy.
Ronan surveyed the scene with a discerning eye, nodding in satisfaction. "So they built the academy in this place…" he mused as if he recognized the place.
Emery glanced at Ronan, curious. "Have you been here before, Senior?"
Ronan smiled enigmatically. "A long time ago, this planet held a different significance. It's impressive to see how it has transformed into this..."
Emery had heard that the Magus Academy was built in cooperation with a certain supreme magus who owned the planet. He wondered if the serpent supreme, Ronan, had any relation to the supreme figure.
The three walk across the academy grounds, their first destination was not the grand halls or the bustling training grounds but the administrative building of the academy. The purpose was significant: changing Shinta's identity to her real one. The atmosphere inside the administrative office was a mix of formal efficiency and quiet anticipation. Given the academy had already been notified by the Ouroboros of her situation and with the added assistance of Urix, the process was expected to go smoothly.
As Shura's name was replaced with Shinta's real name on the records, Shinta couldn't help but show her irritation towards the serpent supreme. Although the old ancestor hadn't directly harmed her friend, she still held grudges against him for the role he played in Shura's demise. Once again Shinta threw a sarcastic comment toward the man.
Ronan casually remarked, "I can give you 100 girls as replacements if you want."
Urix, sensing the rising tension, hurriedly expedited the process. "All documents are in order," he announced, handing over Shinta's new identification card.
[Shinta Ouroboros]
[15 years old]
[Inner Hall 9]
[Acolyte status - Silver Insignia]
Both Emery and Shinta were taken aback by the unexpected changes. Her hall rank had fallen from Hall 7 to Hall 9, indicating that Lucius Hall hadn't performed well in the mid-exams. Seeing her status as a Silver Insignia acolyte, Shinta couldn't help but sigh. Despite winning two duels in the final tournament, her abrupt dismissal had set her back to silver rank.
Shinta, determined to make the best of her situation, took the opportunity to ask the administrative clerk, "Is it possible to change hall?"
With her situation regarding her identity resolved, Shinta requested to transfer to Emery's hall. Unfortunately, this request was rejected as the academy rules dictated that changes could only be made at the beginning of the year and required the headmaster's approval.
"Do you want to schedule an appointment to meet the headmaster?" Urix asked.
"Yes, please," Shinta replied without hesitation.
"Alright, we will get back to you as soon as we have the date"
The girl didn't hesitate to let go of all the top hall privileges to stay with her father. As for Emery, he still bore a certain animosity toward Lucius. He couldn't help to worry that Lucius might have ulterior motives, especially now knowing Shinta's unique lineage.
As for the loss of privileged access to the Origin Stone room, Emery bore no such concerns. With Shinta's proficiency in darkness elements, he had a better alternative in mind: the Khaos space. This mysterious dimension, rich with darkness energy, could provide Shinta with the training she needed.
With her inquiries handled, Emery turned to Shinta and asked, "Are you going back to your hall or…?"
Shinta interrupted him, saying, "No, I am coming with you…"
Emery nodded and then turned to Urix, introducing the full moon magus beside him. "This is my Senior Ronan. He needs a visitor pass… I think he's also interested in having a tour of the academy."
"Yes, I can help with that," Urix replied, already starting to process the visitor pass.
Emery glanced at Ronan. "Senior, you can find us later, when you are done."
After being followed around for days, Emery finally saw a chance to escape from the ever-watchful serpent elder. He knew that even with a visitor pass, Ronan would not be able to enter the inner halls. Taking advantage of this, Emery swiftly cast a portal, and both he and Shinta disappeared through it.
Unbeknownst to Emery, Ronan was indeed interested in exploring the academy. His curiosity was particularly piqued by a certain place somewhere inside the mountain.
