“I’m going in now.” Li Qiye said while looking at the broken dao platform.“Young Noble, it’s not that I don’t want to let you in, I can’t open it though. It has always been sealed and we can only pour alchemy liquid down, nothing else.” She smiled helplessly and told the truth.
None in history had been able to open it so they didn’t know what was inside. They had no answer or explanation regarding the ancestral teachings. Curiosity drove numerous attempts and researches but none bored fruits.
Generations of this sect were rather amazing, sticking to the ancestral teachings despite all the unknown factors.
“I don’t need you to open it.” Li Qiye smiled and walked up the platform. Primordial and chaos energy engulfed his palms and the dao platform harmonized with him.
Marks appeared on the surface and formed an ancient dao rune of a golden color. It didn’t take long before a full dimension of rune materialized around him.
“...” This startled Radiant Master even though she was prepared for the unexpected. How could a mortal have control over the primordial affinity?
As she stood there in a daze, the radiant dao runes turned physical and became a golden layer on the surface of the platform. There were cog-like indents as if they had been pushed and morphed by something unbelievably heavy.
“Creak.” The cogs started moving, giving the platform an old and cold presence. This was no longer a platform of the cultivation world but rather, a machine left behind from an unknown epoch.
“Boom!” The new form birthed a vortex that suck Li Qiye inside.
“Young Noble!” Radiant Master shouted in astonishment.
“Creak.” The cogs suddenly disappeared and the old dao platform returned. The only thing different was Li Qiye’s absence. She had no idea where he was teleported to since the mysteries of this place had eluded her sect.

Li Qiye was taken to a round metal platform supported by a long pole, giving the appearance of a lingzhi. Beneath was a bottomless abyss.
The metallic composition was not found in Three Immortals. The surface was smooth and shiny, seemingly alive with a visible flow like liquid. However, they were solid and cold to the touch. Li Qiye had seen this type of metal before in another thing he referred to as the insect pipe.
The yin and yang also flowed on the surface, carrying intertwining strands of life. As long as this cycle continued, a state of everlasting was maintained.
His focus fell on the lotus flower in the center of the platform, made of metal with the color of bronze. Somehow, it also gave the appearance of flesh. Pinching it too hard might make liquid come out.
It has yet to blossom and a faint light could be seen within the closed petals. It resembled the primordial at the earliest inception of all things. With a heavenly gaze, one would spot the formation of a world within the light with the help of special flames.
Instead of causing destruction, they seemed to be creators of life, refining and gestating the dao source of this world.
Li Qiye scowled after fully understanding the flower and the content within. He touched it and activated his primordial light.
“Buzz.” Three divine rings appeared and hummed melodically in response, seemingly wanting to leave the flower.
However, the platform reacted and radiated a blinding light. Everything including the pole reaching the abyss seemed to be coming back to life. Patterns resembling dragon scales appeared along with rhythmic breathing.
Each breath firmly pulled the three divine rings back so they were stuck around the flowers. They dimmed down as well after having their power drained.
This also accelerated the flow of the yin and yang beneath Li Qiye’s feet, causing it to be more chaotic than before.
