Chapter 6870: Let Me Have A Taste

Such a majestic life force. The overlords in Stygian salivated. The fallen overlords have grown used to devouring; there was no return. The only thought on their mind was devouring this life force.

After Heaven Pit, Devouring Alliance collapsed entirely. Their overlords could only act prudently and worked in secrecy.

However, Gu Chuns rule made it even harder and punished all violators with death. The only way for them to feed was to defeat other overlords and immortals, devouring them afterward.

Unfortunately, the other powers had no love for them. Once one of them was exposed, they would be surrounded immediately by various forces. Thus, they had to hide in Stygian or other worlds.

Now, this life force was no different than a steaming pork dish. Was it time to feast?

Its coming from Golden Lamp. An overlord salivated.

We have to devour it now! Another became impatient.

Idiot, forgot the rule of Gu Chun? One more warned him.

Although the overlords calmed down after being reminded, an order came from multiple immortals: Obtain the worlds heart. Times are changing, Gu Chuns rule is no longer in effect.

All factions in Stygian heard it and had different reactions. The ones from Dark Realm certainly didnt appreciate this.

It showed that the immortals from Devouring Alliance have chosen to move against them despite Skyshrouds previous agreement with Immortal Emperor Gu Chun.

Goddamn this rule, should have been removed long ago. An overlord couldnt help but shout.

Thats right, to hell with this rule! The ravenous overlords shouted.

They couldnt leave this world and risk being hunted down by Guardian Alliance. Sneaking meals here and there wasnt possible due to the rule. This resulted in plenty of resentment.

Now, they could finally sneak to eat some of the smaller worlds. It could at least satiate their hunger.

Boom! Suddenly, the life force became resplendent and illuminated Stygian. Now, Golden Lamp was true to its name, capable of chasing away the darkness.

Its inhabitants, bathed in this light, became vigorous. Tiredness became impossible. On the other hand, those who live in the darkness became afraid. Nevertheless, they also wanted to devour this life force.

Deeper in Golden Lamp, the life light turned into rotating life rings. Their rotation accelerated the flow of life throughout Golden Lamp.

A visual phenomenon could be seen in the sky of Golden Lamp - an ordinary youth meditating with the radiant worlds heart held between his hands.

Thats it! The immortal who knew about it first coveted this artifact.

Endless life. The overlords in Skygian became fanatical.

Rumble! One overlord appeared outside of Golden Lamp - an octopus-like creature the size of a continent.

I want a taste of this life force! He shouted.

Brother, we have to share something this good. Another overlord appeared. He had a celestial face and a body merged into the darkness.

Yes, everyone gets a piece. The third was a beast letting his tongue hang down, drooling excessively. His saliva had a terrifying corrosive power.

More overlords from both Devouring Abyss and Fallen Ten arrived at the scene, eager to have a bite of this life force.
