The Yakuza were blown away, crashing into the walls behind them. Matsuo, Harumi, and Erika rushed at them... only for a giant whale to emerge, stopping them!

"That bastard must be dead, but its beast's alive and kicking!"
"Leave it to me!"
Erika roared, charging with all her power and using Wild Cyclone again, tearing through the whale's crystal body with her Mole Bear Digging Claws and beginning to rip the thing apart from the inside.

The beast exploded into pieces, revealing Erika as shards of spirit crystals fell everywhere. She reached her friends just in time, noticing a wounded Mizura attacking from behind, his lower body transformed into several spider-like legs made of spirit crystal to move.

Without mercy, she crushed his torso completely and then punched his head, making it explode like a watermelon.
At the same time, Matsuo and Harumi clashed against the two remaining foes, Akihito and Senko. Two Spirit Beasts were down—the Whale and the T-Rex—but the most dangerous of them all, the Hydra, as big as the T-Rex but with multiple heads and sharp fangs, defended them relentlessly.

"I know! Frank took down their boss and now he's unconscious. We have to finish this fast and go save him!" Harumi said, holding her axe tightly.
Both unleashed all their leftover energy at once, their Auras contrasting one another. Harumi's Aura was of Blood and Shadows; Matsuo's Aura was of pure Sunlight. Red and gold blurs reached the Yakuza, avoiding the Hydra's bites. They struck the two criminals!
Harumi swung her axe, tearing off Akihito's monstrous arm, while Matsuo covered Senko with his Shikigami, sealing him in place. He then used Martial Arts to strike all of Senko's Meridians and his Dantian, temporarily giving him Ki Deviation, leaving him confused and in agony.
The Hydra reacted, opening its jaws and firing red beams of spirit light from all its heads, bombarding the two and stopping them from finishing the Yakuza. Akihito and Senko responded with Spirit Magic, though sloppily, firing elemental attacks to push them away.
Fireballs, thunderbolts, wind cyclones, giant boulders, mini meteors, piercing icicles, void spheres, beams of light, and more rained down constantly.
"Tsk, they've got all elements, but they're just using basic spells amplified with raw power!" Matsuo said angrily. "Shikigami! Magic Seal!"
The last Shikigami, still paralyzing Senko, changed formations and released sparks of spirit lightning, suddenly stopping him from conjuring spirit magic.
"G-Gaaaah?!" he groaned, vomiting blood.
"Now, self-donation!" Matsuo said, forming hand signs and then...
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
"Uuuaaaaggh!"
Senko's body exploded, each blast tearing chunks away until he was splattered across the floor, leaving only the weakened Akihito and the Hydra standing.
"D-Damn it! Hydra! Do something!"
"SHAAAAA!"
The Hydra hissed Akihito. He wasn't her master, and she proved it by opening her maws and swallowing him along with Senko's remains.
"What?!" Harumi, about to strike, was stopped as a potent shockwave of demonic and spiritual energy surged.
"Watch out!" Erika arrived just in time, grabbing her friends and pulling them away from the destructive blast.
As the smoke dissipated, the trio saw the Hydra, now towering forty meters high, with even more heads and overflowing with Demonic Power.
"SHYEEHEHEH! SHYAHAHAHA!"
The Spirit Beast laughed, shocking the trio. Its sharp crimson eyes glowed, firing hundreds of beams from each head!
"Damn it! You have to be kidding me!" Erika complained, running with her friends as the crystal-covered caves began to collapse.
"We have to kill that thing somehow!" Matsuo said. "Haaa... But I'm out of spells and magic, I need to recharge!"
"Why do we always get into situations like this?!" Harumi complained, pointing her axe at the creature and lunging with all her power. "Screw you!"
CRAAASH!
The axe struck the Hydra's chest, making it scream in agony as blood splattered everywhere.
"GYAAAAAAEEEEH!"
The multi-headed snake shrieked, halting its insane attack as it tried to pull out the axe.
But the weapon seemed alive, striking with all its power, worsening the wound.
"Harumi, that was amazing! Well done!" Erika said.
"I helped?!" Harumi was surprised. "Hell yeah I did!"
"Let's go, hurry!" Matsuo said, eating Mana Pills he had stored and absorbing Spiritual Energy from the environment after adapting a special Breathing Method.
"Shikigami Invocation!"
He summoned over a hundred small Shikigami by throwing dozens of pre-made paper vessels, which became a massive cloud of white paper, covering half the Hydra's body.
"Self-Detonation!"
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
Matsuo used the last of his paper vessels, exploding them and blowing chunks of spirit crystal off the creature, severing many heads in the process.
"Now, go!"
Matsuo conjured a barrier of light with the Mana he recovered and used it to propel both girls forward. Erika and Harumi unleashed their Auras one last time, crimson red and golden yellow combining into a spinning cyclone of werewolf and vampire claws. They pierced through the wound the axe had created, tearing through the Hydra's body and destroying its monstrous heart.
"SHYAAAAGGHH!"
Unable to withstand the damage, and with its heart shattered, the Hydra let out an agonizing cry before exploding into countless pieces.
BOOOMMM!!!
As spirit crystal dust fell from the sky, Erika and Harumi giggled, exhausted but triumphant, unlike before when they had to be saved at the end.
"We did it..." Erika sighed in relief.
"Yeah... finally... Ah right, Frank!" Harumi stood up. "Frank! Where are you—Eh?"
As Harumi called for him, she saw Frank in the distance. Kireina had healed him, and then he healed her back.
She smiled in relief, only for her face to change instantly as she saw Kireina kissing Frank on the lips...
Her eyebrows twitched as Harumi's Aura surged with incredible anger and jealousy, her eyes shining bright red!
When Frank and Erika walked toward them to reunite, they met Harumi's wrath.
"Frank, why did you let her kiss you?! You baka! Baka baka baka baka!!!"
"Y-You saw?! Harumi, calm down! Aaaack!"
Frank was struck in the chest by a furious Harumi, each of her angry punches strong enough to break his ribs.
"Oh my, you haven't kissed him yet? Well, aren't you slow?" giggled Kireina. "And—"
BOOOM!
Before they could continue, a huge explosion surged nearby. The entire party turned toward the blast, finding Mammon on the floor, covered in cracks and bleeding, crushed into the ground by a massive invisible hand.
"Ugh! Are you done with the small fry?! Now help me fight this thing! It's coming from the Core of this Spirit Domain!"
