-----"So this is what it feels like to have a child... I see..."
From that moment on, Lord Chaos never allowed sadness to touch him again. He smiled constantly and cherished his daughter with unwavering devotion.
No hesitation. No more doubt in his love.
Would he doubt himself now?
No.
He could not.
His daughter might be reckless, but she had never committed true evil.
Deep down, she was good. Though that goodness stirred conflict in his heart, it also brought profound relief. His precious child was nothing like her father.
This was the turning point, the moment the original timeline shattered forever.
Lord Chaos rose and walked toward his daughter.
He took her hand and pulled her into a gentle embrace.
"Papa...?"
Kireina froze, stunned as her father held her with tender warmth.
"I knew this day would come. Ever since you were born, I have questioned whether my path was truly right. I doubted myself, sometimes surrendered to the darkness, but now, at last, I see the road we must follow."
"F-Father... does that mean...?"
"Yes. Though I still despise them with every fiber of my being, I will support you."
His words struck deep, resonating through every soul present. His three loyal subordinates, who had believed without question that he would seize everything through darkness for the sake of his family, now realized he had changed.
"You promised to support me no matter what. Having second thoughts now?" Lord Chaos said firmly. "I will always stand by my daughter, as long as I believe her cause is just. And now, I truly believe she speaks the truth... because it is likely what her mother would have said to me as well."
Doctor Victor Frankenstein, Wasp, and Medea displayed a storm of mixed emotions, while Kireina's supporters rejoiced quietly.
"Hah... I understand," Victor said with a faint smile. "I swore eternal loyalty to the Lord of Chaos. I will follow you wherever you lead."
"Kireina-sama may be young, but perhaps her philosophy is exactly what we needed," Medea murmured in realization. "I see her dear mother in her, the one who was like a sister to me. Very well."
Wasp, however, fixed Kireina and Frank with a piercing glare from his sharp crimson eyes, arms crossed tightly.
"What's wrong, Wasp?" Kireina asked.
"I will agree on one condition," he replied coldly.
"Huh?" Kireina tilted her head.
"You will inherit my family's Cultivation Legacy and then defeat me. If you cannot, I will not follow, and I may leave forever."
"Wasp! How dare you?!" Her father's voice thundered with fury.
"I am sorry, my lord," Wasp sighed. "But I follow only the strong."
"I am strong! Fight me instead. I could crush you easily," Lord Chaos growled.
"No. You are no longer the one I must follow. It is your daughter now," Wasp shook his head. "We all follow her, including you. That makes us equals in this. To prove herself worthy, she must face me. But as she is now, it is not enough. She will master my legacy first."
"But why?" Kireina asked softly.
"Because I want you to truly understand the legacy of my people," Wasp said as he turned away. "Lord Chaos, please distort spacetime in the training realms. We will train for five months."
"Are you serious?" Lord Chaos snapped, anger flaring. "The clan entrance exam competition is in one week."
"I know. That is why we need time dilation," Wasp replied.
"No, that is exactly what I needed," Kireina said with a determined nod. "All right. I still need to forge and strengthen my foundation. I want not only Wasp but Medea and the Doctor as well. Can they all train under time dilation?"
"Fine," her father sighed heavily. "We will do it your way this once. We will hold no grudges against the other clans, and we will try to be civil. If the chance arises, we may even offer peace."
"Thank you," Kireina said, her warm smile lighting her face. "And about Frank... he will train with us."
"What?!" Victor exploded.
"Why him?!" Medea demanded, equally outraged.
"I don't understand..." Wasp muttered.
"Father," Kireina said calmly. "Frank truly wishes to join us, right?"
"I do," Frank nodded firmly. "I want to help. I am Kireina's friend and supporter."
"Hmmm..." Lord Chaos exhaled deeply. "Fine. But you better behave. And do not dare lay a single finger on my precious daughter. You hear me?"
"Y-Yes..." Frank replied quickly.
"Then I will bind you with a powerful contract of loyalty. This will ensure you never betray us," Papa Chaos said with a dark smirk, grasping Frank's hand and imprinting a potent Curse Contract. "There."
"Ugh..." Frank winced as the curse burned briefly, but soon the pain faded. "Thank you. So that makes me an official member of Chaos Gate now?"
"It does. Tsk..." Papa Chaos grumbled, though he shrugged it off. "Now you must be shown the facilities and everything else. Someone else handle that. I am not wasting my time on it."
Thus, a new member joined Chaos Gate. Kireina had convinced her father to change his path, steering them toward a future where harmony might one day be possible.
The five-month training would begin the next day. Kireina and Frank would train alongside a few other new students her father had chosen, including Franky.
For now, Kireina breathed a deep sigh of relief and savored dinner with her father. Frank had been whisked away by agents to tour the various operations, training areas, and facilities of Chaos Gate.
As they dined and chatted about her new powers and how she had gained them, four family members who had come to visit finally arrived amid much excitement.
"Ah, there you are, my dear! Why didn't you come greet your Auntie~?"
A stunning red-haired Darkwood Fae stepped forward, her gleaming red eyes sparkling. Beautiful black and red wings graced her back, alongside pointed ears, two small black horns on her forehead, and porcelain-pale skin. She wore tight black jeans, a white blouse beneath a red jacket, and black leather boots.
"I suppose you were quite busy, huh? Cousin?"
Beside her stood another vampiric beauty—a graceful blond Darkwood Fae with calm red eyes and yellow-and-red wings. She wore an elegant black and red dress with matching red heels.
"Hi!"
"Hello."
Flanking them were two adorable young Darkwood Fae children. The boy wore a slightly serious expression, his primarily purple hair streaked with red, glowing red eyes intense. The younger girl had long red hair in twin pigtails, glowing purple eyes, and a small horn on her forehead. Both bore delicate butterfly wings.
Kireina recognized them instantly—these were the family members who had entered this Cosmic World from outside, now part of the Darkwood Fae lineage, here to support her.
"Ah! You are here. Sorry for not greeting you sooner. We were in the middle of a rather heavy discussion," her father said. "Dear, this is your Aunt Agatheina—do you remember her? And this is your cousin Alice. These are your other cousins, Alucard and Jeanne."
