Chapter 017: At the Hidden Isles Again

A group of black cars parked on a private airport's apron near a privet jet that landed moments ago, moments later Allen, Charlotte and the middle-aged bodyguard descended through the jet's stair and got into the a black luxurious SUV.

As the cars started moving, three other car surrounded Allen's car and drove past the gates of the apron, Within the car, the middle-aged bodyguard sat in the driver seat, his eyes focused on the road, with a sharp gaze he would scan his vicinity.

On the back seats sat Allen and his personal maid, Charlotte one was engrossed in his new ring.

Around 30 minutes later and after transferring nearly a hundred low level spirit stones, Allen's reserves of the low level spirit stone with his person were emptied at that point; with an excited glint in his eyes, Allen sent his spiritual senses inside the obsidian ring.

As Allen's spiritual sense entered the ring, a mental image of a vast empty space appeared in his consciousness, the ground was made of a unique stone tiles, while other side were blocked by a wall asserting the boundary of the space.

The space within had slightly transformed form the last time Allen checked on it some time ago, the available area within had almost tripled making a space of 300 square meters, more to Allen's surprise an mysterious heavy ancient aura filled the air.

Suddenly the view Infront of Allen changed, The mental image within Allen's consciousness enlarged and seemingly materialized, a human figure appeared within the ring's space.

"...?!, I'm inside?, oh it can host an Avatar, judging from the fact it can materialize an avatar ,it's core shouldn't be as damaged as it was thought earlier. with enough spiritual energy it might recover fully to its peak, as a Myth type artifact even when damaged some weaker abilities could be used"

Inspecting the 300 square meter area, Allen's avatar moved around for a while, followed by him checking the tiles, surprisingly even when multiple times he couldn't leave a scratch.

With a steer Allen's consciousness retreated from the ring, as the view Infront of him changed again, he gaze fell inside the car, immediately Allen noticed a powerful soul sense scanning him from head to toe multiple times in a matter of moments; Charlotte had a slight pensive look in her eyes as she used her sense to monitor Allen in case anything unexpected happened.

Originally as she was silently setting beside Allen in the back seat and helping him with organizing the spirit stones that would be sent to the ring, she suddenly noticed Allen sending his spiritual sense inside the ring, then Allen's aura changed a bit as his soul aura suddenly weakened.

Such an unexpected situation almost made Charlotte think that Allen was attacked by a soul cultivator or some kind of curse, however to her relive after sending her spiritual sense Charlotte discovered that Allen's soul energy was merely consumed and it linked to the ring, after thinking for a short moment she still took out a communication device and said few sentences.

Just as she placed the communication device back, Allen opened his eyes and looked around with a frown on his face.

Allen and Charlotte were standing in an island with an area no less than 1000 meter, Closing his eyes, Origin spiritual energy circulated as Allen's aura started rising, with I nudge from his spiritual sense, a long dark gray metallic sword was summoned from his spatial equipment to his right hand, immediately the sword started absorbing the spiritual energy channelled into it like a dry sponge.

Just as the spiritual energy within Allen was half-way depleted, the sword stopped absorbing energy and started shaking, soon it jumped from Allen's hand and started flying around him in a lively manner.

Flying up and down, right and left, it even revolved on it self, a weird look came on Allen's face, for him the sword almost looked like a pet happy to finally be adopted, jumping up and down.

With a smile on his face Allen condensed a needle out of spirit energy and pricked his thumb, manipulating his blood origin a drop of condensed blood separated from the blood origins and moved through his veins, soon it came out of the small opening in the thumb.

As the drop of blood origin appeared it exuded a heavy condensed aura. once in the outside world it shot towards the sword, specifically towards the ancient rune at its hand's guard, the rune glowed golden for a moment as a connection was established between Allen and the sword, with it Allen gained the ability to control the sword smoothly as if it was a limb of his, with enough training Allen could increase the distance and precisions of the sword control.

After a while of testing his new sword, from randomly swinging it to displaying majority of the sword arts he learned to entering a semi-meditative state while standing.

Suddenly Allen entered an ethereal state where a his body started absorbing origin energy from his surrounded, as the energy ran through his veins unlike the absorbed energy of the lightning art he cultivated, the energy was refined for a circles through his body but rather than being sent to his dantian for storage or being used it was sent to the sword in Allen's hand.

Accompanied with a sharp glow, energy was returned from the sword but after it was transformed in a qualitative way, from the origin energy with slight lightning attribute the origin energy had a sharp, cutting edge to it.

After absorbing the energy the ready refined origin energy the sword refined it once more transforming it into sword energy, which in turn is a stronger form of origin energy.

Originally to cultivate sword energy a sword Dao cultivation art is required, however Allen could transform origin energy to sword energy with his sword intent which usually is used by sword cultivator to purify their sword energy.

Near the edge of the island, Charlotte floated in the air with two boxes similarly floating beside her supported by her spiritual energy, her gaze followed Allen's movements, evaluating each move and a swing, a sudden gust of wind rattled Charlotte's clothes, as a vast intent descended.

" Young maid, Where did the prince get that sword from? " an old voice rang in Charlotte's head.
