Chapter 782: The Secret Vault (Part 1)

The mountain peaks were steep, shrouded in mist, and littered with bizarre rocks.

In the depths of the cave, a Red Scaled Beast with all fours on the ground, clawed desperately at the hard rock, trying to escape from its own homeland.

However, a large hand firmly gripped its neck, pinning it down almost immobilized!

This was deep within the North Mountain range, thousands of li away from Red Cliff City.

Wang Chen was here to hunt.

The objects of his hunt were the tier-six Fierce Beasts.

Unlike last time, this time Wang Chen was not here for the Beast Meat.

He was searching for the hidden stash of Elder Yao.

This Nascent Soul True Immortal had reincarnated twelve times in the Foggy Mountain Realm, nearly reaching the pinnacle of this world in each life.

But Elder Yao had never been able to find the World Origin of this realm and was unable to break through the world’s confines, forced to enter the cycle of reincarnation time after time as his lifespan ended.

With many reincarnations, he sealed the treasures and riches he acquired during his adventures and explorations in different secret treasuries, so that upon rebirth, he would have the means to quickly rise to power again.

Since Elder Yao couldn’t predict the outcome of his reincarnations, he scattered his secret treasuries throughout different regions of the Foggy Mountain Realm.

One of these treasuries, closest to Red Cliff City, was deep within the North Mountain.

However, before finding this treasury, Wang Chen needed to “charge” the Reincarnation Pearl; otherwise, he wouldn’t be able to open the treasury’s restriction.

This “charge” was naturally the nature’s spiritual energy extracted from high-tier Fierce Beasts!

The very essence of that Red Scaled Beast had just been thoroughly drained by the Reincarnation Pearl under Elder Yao’s control.

But that was far from enough.

Therefore, the high-tier Fierce Beasts within North Mountain, mainly the tier-six Fierce Beasts, were in deep trouble.

Tier-six Fierce Beasts corresponded to Acquired Martial Artists.
