House of Cards.Adam led everyone into the depths of this giant, magical construct.
"I hope you've all left behind your storage artifacts," his voice echoed across the vast corridor. "They'll be destroyed during teleportation."
Everyone nodded. In fact, any kind of artifact would be destroyed during the long-distance teleportation. Hence, the twenty travelers carried nothing with them except their clothes.
"And no matter what, protect yourself with mana at all times," he added solemnly.
He led them into a grand chamber, and once everyone was inside, he sealed the doors. Then he turned to the group and said solemnly:
"Remember, out here you all are the top dogs. The strongest Magi on Tron. But out there, in Myrrandor… you will be near the bottom of the ladder."
His lips curled into a mischievous smile. "If it's any consolation, you'll be just one rung above the very bottom. I hope you all can adapt."
The youth walked to the control panel at the edge of the room and drew several runes and pressed some levers.
"Oh, and we might be separated once we arrive at Myrrandor. So once everyone's settled down, I hope you'll make an effort to find the others and help each other out."
No one replied. The reality of what awaited them beyond the portal weighed heavily on their minds. So they simply nodded in silence.
A brilliant light flashed. A wave of vertigo crashed over them. Their balance faltered for a brief moment. When they opened their eyes again, they found themselves standing within a vast domed structure.
"Welcome to Luna," Adam said with a smile.
The chamber was enormous, its ceiling disappearing into the darkness high above. The entire structure exuded an ancient aura, as though it had stood unchanged for countless millennia.
At its center lay a massive platform forged from an unknown silvery metal that had somehow resisted the ravages of time.
Surrounding it, the floor, the walls, and the pillars were covered in countless runes. They intertwined and overlapped in bewilderingly complex patterns, forming a vast magical array that stretched across the entire chamber.
"Where is this place?" Lucian gulped subconsciously.
"We are at the center of Luna," Adam said casually as he began working on the runes.
He only had about ten minutes left before all the planets aligned. But that was enough time to activate the portal. More than enough considering the number of times he had practiced for this moment.
Adam stepped toward the ancient array and got to work. His fingers danced across the runes, activating one sequence after another according to the instructions left behind by the ancient Magi. Every symbol had to be awakened in the correct order. A single mistake could have catastrophic consequences.
Slowly, the dormant runes came to life. Ancient symbols carved into the walls began to glow with a faint silver radiance. Moments later, the inscriptions on the floor answered in turn. One by one, the thousands upon thousands of runes awakened from their millennia-long slumber.
The Magi witnessed this scene unfold with awe. They didn't know what Adam did or how he did it, but they trusted him with their lives. Anna noticed the others' expressions and couldn't help but smile proudly.
At the same time, the planetary alignment entered its final phase.
Across the star system, the celestial bodies slowly fell into perfect alignment.
A mysterious connection formed between them.
Mana resonated.
From the outermost planet drifting in the darkness, a magical force stirred awake. Vast currents of mana surged forth and flowed toward the next world. As each planet joined the alignment, the energy grew stronger and stronger, accumulating layer upon layer.
The resonance spread inward.
Planet after planet answered the call.
The torrent of mana swelled majestically until it became a celestial river flowing through the entire star system.
And then it reached Tron.
The moment the connection was established, the entire planet seemed to come alive. The mana of the world trembled and surged in response, joining the grand resonance of the stars.
High above the skies of Tron…
Luna awakened.
The ancient moon-sized construct absorbed the gathered mana with terrifying efficiency. Countless runes blazed to life as unimaginable amounts of energy poured into the ancient device.
For the first time in thousands of years, the gateway to the cosmos was fully charged!
Inside Luna, the twenty travelers watched with wide eyes as the space above the silvery platform began to twist and unfold. The air distorted violently, and then reality itself tore apart.
A giant circular portal opened above the platform, revealing a breathtaking tunnel that led through a distorted display of stars, nebulae, and endless cosmic darkness beyond.
No one spoke. They were too shocked to even breathe, let alone speak.
The chamber fell into tense silence as everyone stared at the gateway leading out of their world. For several long seconds, the portal fluctuated and rippled unstably.
Then, at last, the distortions settled. The portal stabilized. And the path to the Greater Universe was open.
Adam was the first to snap out of his shock. "The time window is short! Everyone, enter now!"
Tian Di glanced at Lucian and smiled gratefully. Then, he vaulted straight through the portal without hesitation.
Lucian blinked. Then he grinned ear to ear. He looked at Adam and winked. "See you on the other side, my boy!"
Then, he was the next to enter.
One by one, the Magi from Acadia, Nahua, Europa, and Yen-Lu entered the portal.
"Thank you, brother!" Goro gave Adam a bear hug. Then he laughed boisterously before diving into the portal.
Edward was next. "I'll find you," he said solemnly as he, too, gave Adam a tight hug.
Finally, only Anna and Adam were left.
"Go on, sister." Adam smiled warmly as he gave her a gentle hug.
Anna looked deeply into his tenebrous eyes and nodded. "Don't get into trouble," she said as she gently caressed his cheek.
With that said, she walked toward the portal. She cast one final glance at her sweet brother and whispered, "May fortune favour you."
Then she dove into the portal.
Now, only Adam was left.
With no one around to see him, he finally stopped holding back his tears.
He took a deep breath and laughed.
He laughed and laughed and laughed.
Finally…
The time had come!
He steadied his breathing and wiped away his tears.
He had said his goodbyes.
A chapter of his life had come to an end, and another was about to begin.
There were countless worlds out there. Some cold, some hot. Some bathed in light, others shrouded in darkness. Some covered in endless oceans, others filled with floating skies.
And they all shared one fundamental need…
A need for heroes.
Adam took one step. Then another. And another.
He did not look back.
With a smile on his face, excitement in his eyes, and perseverance in his heart, he stepped into the portal.
And thus began the mythic journey of Adam Constantine as he ventured into the Greater Universe and set foot upon the path to become an Emperor.

At an unknown location somewhere within a bustling city on the planet Myrrandor, two figures sat silently across from one another.
They shared similar features — silvery-gray hair and topaz eyes. Yet one was a strikingly beautiful woman, while the other was a broad-shouldered, hulking man.
Suddenly, the woman stirred.
"Is it time?" the burly man asked.
"Yes," the woman replied. "It is time."
She produced a parchment and laid it upon the table. Then, from within layers of sealing magic, she carefully retrieved an unassuming-looking quill.
For a few moments, she simply stared at it.
Then she lowered the quill to the parchment and began to write.
A story.
She wrote the following:
It was just another bright and sunny day on the grand supercontinent of Myrrandor. Many Magi arrived on this planet. Many left it.
For the countless civilizations scattered across the universe, such things were hardly worth noting. The universe never stood still. Neither did Myrrandor.
As one of the most prosperous worlds in the known universe, it attracted people from every corner of the stars. And on this particular day, another traveler arrived from far, far away.
His name was Adam Constantine.
But due to unforeseen circumstances, his teleportation was disrupted by slight turbulence.
And so, he was knocked slightly off course…
