This was something even Kahn had rejected from the get-go when the God of Darkness offered him the choice. Because his individual survival took the utmost priority.

And when he heard of Synthesis divine ability, he knew it would be a perfect fit. And it indeed was the best choice in his case.

It would not have been possible for me to temporarily hunt, tame, and seal the Godbeasts of all beings in the world, if not for the Divine Beastmaster ability.” revealed Morpheus.

“But why hide it from God of Darkness in this timeline? What is so incriminating about that secret?” asked Kahn.
“It all started over 3000 years ago when the first generation of chosen heroes was summoned. I won’t go deep into the history about them, but some of them became the key players who helped me understand the truth.” said Morpheus as he led his own narrative.
“The 4th Hero of Life, Bjorn Ragnarsson, didn’t just gravely injure the Demon God back then… he simply killed it.
But his injury also became the reason why Demon God’s soul almost took over his body.” he explained.
“What? I’ve been to the Zivot Empire. It is simply said that he died from the injuries. At some point, even I suspected that he was killed by the reigning imperial family because of his influence across the Empire of Life.” responded Kahn.
To his statement, Morpheus began revealing another hidden lore.
“During my travels, I came across an inheritance left by Bjorn Ragnarsson, where he left records before his death.
The knowledge that is out in Vantrea about his demise is mostly fabricated by the High Elves. He did receive a life-threatening injury, but given his Divine Abilities, there was a chance that he could have survived in the end.
But his own strength became his boon in those last years of his life.
He soon realized that the High Elves wanted him dead, and he would soon die too.
So he faked his death by creating a body using his divine ability that was in every sense, the same as the real one, then left behind his divine weapon in the Zivot Empire, and spent the next few years hiding close to the Empire of Lightning, where I came across his ruins almost 1100 years later.” said Morpheus.
“In his journal, he mentioned in the last entry that the ruins would be the place where he intended to take his own life because he knew that soon, the Demon God would resurrect using his Soul Essence.
He mentioned that the Humans have always been used by God solely because of their stronger souls.
And if the Demon God took over his completely… the world would have been destroyed already, as the growth it would offer him would be hundreds of times faster than it was intended.
So he didn’t just kill himself but also destroyed his soul completely,” revealed Morpheus.
“Fucking hell… there was this kind of plot twist?” said Kahn to himself in disbelief.
“The Demon God was then forced out of the Hero of Life’s body, but the damage he suffered to his own soul had stopped his rebirth for a few more centuries.” stated Morpheus as he revealed an anticipating countenance.
“But he was just one of the people Heroes whose actions helped me understand the truth. As for the 2nd one… You already have met him in this timeline.” said Morpheus as he spoke in a calm yet chilling tone.
“The 6th Hero of Space… Miyamoto Musashi.”
