Chapter 216: Irregulars And superpower

This chapter is updated by NovelFree.ml

A gentle breeze blew past the messy battlefield.

Imari, Julie, and Tomoe looked on with shock as Miyabi fell to her knees. Her face was pale and she looked like she had exhausted her stamina using her heavy lance. She can’t stand up anymore.

Noah held his gun with his other hand. He looked at his trembling arm. Miyabi’s thrust paralyzed his arm. He chuckled.

“Wasn’t that awesome?”

“Eh?”

Miyabi was confused.

“True, you need way too much stamina to use your Blaze but the strength and power of your Blaze is undeniably one of the strongest Blazes I have seen, if not the strongest already.”

Noah showed Miyabi his numb arm. His arm recovered when he offered to pull Miyabi up.

“If you call yourself useless despite having such a powerful Blaze then you’re going to get bad karma.”

Miyabi blushed when she saw Noah’s radiant smile. Her heart raced as she grabbed Noah’s hand. He pulled her up.

“Keep working hard.”

Noah said.

“Otherwise, your Soul will cry in pain.”

“Nn…”

Miyabi nodded.

“I will.”

Noah beamed at her again. The three other ladies looked on with different expressions.

Imari sighed with judging eyes. Julie silently praised the two fighters. Tomoe blushed when she saw the two holding hands like that.

“Erm, I am not sure if people our age should be holdings hands like that. Don’t you think you should let go of her?”

Noah and Miyabi let go at the same time. They also distanced themselves.

“Alright.”

Noah grinned. He brandished his gun.

“You girls want to continue duking it out?”

Imari, Julie, Miyabi, and Tomoe exchanged a look.

“Uawrgh!”

When Imari and Tomoe stepped forward, a hoarse yell rang in the forest.

“—!”

The four ladies stood still.

“What’s going on?”

Miyabi hid behind Tomoe.

“What was that?”

“Somebody got defeated?”

Imari assessed.

“No, that sound…”

That is the anguished shriek of someone on the verge of death. That didn’t sound like the duels they experienced.

Noah raised his head, he sensed his environment before focusing in a certain direction.

Noah confirmed that the source wasn’t a Blaze attack.

Noah can attest that Blaze could inflict pain but not to such a level someone would wail in agony.

Noah felt slight pain when the ladies struck him with their Blazes.

Who was that?

Noah ran to the source of that sound.

He arrived near a plaza with a fountain in it. There were two male students here. They had different heights, Noah identified them as Tooru and Aoi.

Aoi was bleeding from various wounds while Tooru tended to him with an angry look. He stared at the assailant. It was a woman in a bunny maid uniform. It was Usa-sensei.

She had a Tebutje that had gnarly teeth on it.

Noah stopped.

“Hmm?”

Usa-sensei turned around to see Noah’s advent. Her face lit up.

“Uwa! I found you! My exquisite Irregular!”

Her face and voice sounded cute. However, her aura changed from a harmless bunny to a sinister killer.

Noah is sure about this oppressive feeling. It was the feeling of being targeted with killing intent.

“Hey, can you wait over there?”

She stared at her victims with a malevolent look.

“I will clean up these fellows.”

Usa-sensei raised her tebutje before attempting to cut down Aoi.

“Blaze!”

Tooru yelled.

Bam

A flaming shield appeared after Tooru wrapped himself in Blaze flames.

The Tebutje hit his shield squarely.

Clang

Sparks flew when the Tebutje struck his shield. Tooru’s Blaze resembled a beast’s claw. He used that to block the Tebutje.

Blaze usually takes the form of a weapon. However, Tooru manifested a defensive Blaze.

“Hahaha!”

Usa-sensei snickered out loud.

“Finally, you decided to take it out? Irregular-san!”

Noah had a complex hot weapon as his Blaze while Tooru had a defensive shield as his Blaze. These two individuals were irregulars.
