"Don’t pick heels that are too high; no heels would be best."

"My height is fine; I can bring out the clothes without heels."

"That’s why President Ji is outstanding."

"You’re good with words, I’ll choose this set." Ji Qingyan said with satisfaction:

"The only thing left is the gift selection. I’ve been thinking for days and don’t know what to bring."

"Whatever you bring won’t matter." Lin Yi said:

"The thoughtful gift you select might not even be as good as what they throw in the trash."

"What do you usually bring?"

"A box of pure milk and a box of apples; with Jing City’s prices, it’s settled for 150 bucks. Zhong Hai is similar."

"You give them this?"

Lin Yi nodded, smiling, "I bet many others know this news too; let’s get there quickly and try to seize the chance."

"I think so too, let’s go together. Chairman Xu mentioned needing to check other places; let her get on with other things and not hold her up."

Xu Chen was initially in a good mood but hearing Lin Yi’s words, her face instantly hardened.

"What do you mean! You’re intentionally annoying me!"

"That’s what you said—they already signed, we have no chance and need to look elsewhere—I don’t want to waste your time."

Xu Chen was fuming, speechless.

"I’ll wait for you in the car and head over shortly."

After speaking, Lin Yi left the office.

"How did you hire such an employee! I’m furious!"

"Take it out on him." Chen Lin said with a laugh:

"Is it because he’s too handsome that even being angry, you can’t do anything?"
