"This is her short video account; she looks good and has a nice figure."

Yan Ci glanced at it, "It’s heavily filtered, can’t see much."

"Trust my judgment, anyone who joins our company doesn’t lack in looks."

"Then there shouldn’t be a problem, just talk to her and see if she’d be willing to come."

"Shouldn’t be an issue, there aren’t many opportunities in the company now, they’re barely getting by. A stable job would be a godsend for them."

Yan Ci dialed a number on her phone as she spoke.

"Tongtong, I’ve arranged a new job for you, interested in being a host at the TV station?"

"Alright, I’m at Shui’an Western Restaurant; come by now."

After hanging up, Yan Ci looked at Lin Yi, "She will be here shortly, you can evaluate her then."

Lin Yi nodded, and they continued eating and chatting.

"What have you been busy with lately? I rarely get instant replies from you, always have to wait ages." Yan Ci said with a hint of grievance.

"Well, I’ve become a producer; it’s been hectic lately. I’ll be traveling to Corea tomorrow."

"Hm? Are you going to investigate that environmental incident?"

At that moment, a woman in jeans and knee-high boots appeared beside them.

Lin Yi glanced at her; her features were delicate, and she was tall. Despite wearing makeup, she didn’t give off a tacky vibe. With a change in makeup and attire, she could look more dignified.

She’d likely do well as a radio host.

"President Yan."

The woman stood by, cautiously greeting while sneaking glances at Lin Yi, unsure of his identity.

"Let me introduce you; this is Lin Yi, the principal of the radio’s Morning News."

"Hello, Principal Lin, I’m Yang Wantong."

Yang Wantong leaned forward, politely extending her hand, and Lin Yi, out of courtesy, shook it lightly.

As he spoke, Lin Yi pushed the menu towards her to ease her tension.

Yang Wantong felt a bit embarrassed, awkwardly smiled, and ordered the cheapest steak.

"Earlier on the phone, President Yan must have told you everything; I’ll explain the details again."

"What school did you graduate from?" Lin Yi asked.

"Communication University, broadcasting and hosting major." Yang Wantong promptly answered.

"Studied broadcasting, but thinking of becoming a star."

Yang Wantong blushed, "I did think about finding a hosting job, but without connections or background, no one was willing to hire me."

Lin Yi nodded, understanding the current job market.

"Since you already have this inclination, it makes things much easier." Lin Yi said with a smile:

"Tomorrow, go to the TV station and look for someone named Zhao Jing. I’ll arrange a preliminary interview, and if you pass, you can work with us. If your skills aren’t up to par, there’s not much I can do."

"Thank you, Principal Lin, for the opportunity."

"Regarding salary, the entire package added together will be about 200,000 a year, but that’s just for the first year. As you gain experience, it will definitely increase."

Hearing the number 200,000, Yang Wantong looked excited.
