"You abandoned us too; I’m really upset," Xiao Bing said.

"We’re part of a team. You can’t go ahead in every mission while we enjoy comfort in the back," Luo Qi added.

Xiao Bing and Luo Qi stood on either side of Lin Yi, turning their faces away from him.

People around the airport looked over at them, raising their thumbs towards Lin Yi, implying admiration.

Lin Yi felt both amused and helpless.

Women are just too difficult to handle.

Hugging the two women’s shoulders, Lin Yi chuckled and said:

"This is an airport; talk later at home."

"Hmph."

After a while, the group boarded the plane.

Over two hours later, they landed at the airport in Jing City. It was already past eight at night.

As usual, Ning Che came to pick them up.

"This mission has been hard on you."

Ning Che stepped forward to hug Lin Yi, "When you sent the message, the old man was in the brigade. He saw it and was especially pleased."

"Just pleased? Didn’t he say anything about a promotion?"

"He didn’t say that. You could ask him?"

Ning Che smiled helplessly; this was Lin Yi’s character, and there was nothing he could do about it.

Perhaps this is personal charm; if he weren’t like this, the team wouldn’t be so loyal to him.

Soon, Ning Che brought the team back to the Central Guards Brigade.

On the way, Lin Yi learned other news.

Knowing the source of the sheepskin scroll, members from Team 2 and Team 4 were sent to the island, along with a Dragon Eagle unit.

Seeing Lin Yi return, Liu Hong’s excitement was palpable. Despite the late hour, he had been waiting for them.

Previously, he never imagined the task could be completed so quickly, but Lin Yi indeed did so.

"Other organizations should still be in Corea."

Lin Yi nodded, saying:

"I’m taking Team 3 out tomorrow. Let’s have dinner tonight; I’ll wait for you outside," Ning Che said.

"Okay."

He briefed the team on the meeting’s content, then dismissed them for a break.

These days, he’ll handle things himself; let the team rest well.

"Boss, wait a moment; I have something to discuss," Yu Siying said.
