An Invoker developed their Dreamland to unleash a certain effect throughout their lives. Usually, they focused upon the Invoked Spirits the most, relying upon Scrolls to give them beneficial powers.
For example, through the Senses Scroll, Kowla was able to tap into the superior eyesight of her Eagle Invoked Spirit and observe the world through its perspective. This also allowed her to control the Eagle Invoked Spirit more accurately, for she no longer had to depend on her perspective alone, which might be hindered during a battle when she had to fight while hiding.
As Compass Carburettor evolved this power through Secret Society, every Secret Society member was akin to an evolved Invoker.
And, depending on the Mental Fragment a member absorbed and develops their Dreamland, their overall power varies. If they absorb Mental Fragments created out of using Spirit Morph on lava, then the power of lava would course through the Dreamland and Invoked Spirit too.
Through a scroll, the member would be able to course the power through the body too, which wouldn’t be possible if they were a flesh and blood entity. But since they were a Mental Fragment entity, they could channel the Dreamland’s power through them and turn their body into Lava too.
And now, the member that was in the Invader System did the same and used the power of an invader to invade the Apocalypse System’s body.
As Immortal’s attack broke past its external defences, it was easy for Compass Carburettor to invade deep into the wound before its internal defences stopped him. But it was too late already as he was already deep enough inside.
Compass Carburettor created another member before leaving the Apocalypse System, not forgetting to steal some Mental Energy before he left.
The Secret Society member there began to absorb Mental Fragments from the Apocalypse System, targeting the wounded regions that were easy to convert using Spirit Morph.
Boom!
Immortal used his spine spear to pierce a hole in Apocalypse’s thigh as immediately, the member transformed into Mental Energy, left the original wound and flowed into the thigh wound.
In the wounded regions, the surrounding sections were loose, damaged from Immortal’s attacks, making perfect target for Spirit Morph, allowing him to consume the least Mental Strength possible.
Arnark glared from the side, watching streams of Mental Energy flow from one wound to another in the bodies of the Grade 3 Systems, taking advantage of the damage inflicted by Immortal.
Even if one were to be destroyed, Compass Carburettor invaded the Grade 3 System to create another member there before leaving. Thanks to being fuelled by the Main Character System fragment, he was stronger than the other members, allowing him to survive close encounters.
Roar!
Immortal let out a guttural scream before making a wide sweep with his spear, sending the Waning System flying in response before which, Regression System stopped the spear, glaring at Immortal to say, “Enough!”
“You’ve rampaged too much.” With that, it condensed energy into its fists before slamming them into Immortal’s face, resulting in a rumbling explosion that caused a depression in Immortal’s face.
But a moment later, it watched the wounds on Immortal heal rapidly. Moreover, the scales covering his skin became tougher, shining with an oppressing might, one that instinctively caused Regression to tremble in fear, recalling the first stage of its life as a Grade 4 System whose only job was to be cut in half every time it encountered Immortal.
As his strength entered his golden age, the aura he unleashed changed, causing all the Systems to instinctively tremble. This was the Genre Representative that could once go against the entirety of Systems alone.
Immortal Clenched his hand into a fist before punching the Regression System in the face, sending it reeling back by a hundred metres.
In the power structure of this apocalyptic setting, one’s power could be depicted by their height.
Grade 2 System—Hunter (Level 188)!
As an apocalyptic entity, it spanned a height of 188 metres.
Grade 3 System—Apocalypse (Level 298)!
Its height was originally 299 metres, but after using its Core Skill Manifestation, its height fell by one metre, now at 298 metres.
The Regression System was the tallest among them, standing at 341 metres. Even Arnark was influenced by that.
Normally, he maintained his human height. But the moment he attacked, ethereal projections of himself would manifest, reaching a height in the 200s, depicting that his strength was on the level of a Grade 3 System.
The other Main Characters ranged between late hundreds and early two hundreds, showing that they too were formidable enough.
And, this was why the Systems were trembling in fear.
For, Regression continued to punch Immortal in the face, soon after finding it hard to target the other party’s face due to the sheer difference in size.
Immortal—380 metres and growing!
In terms of sheer strength, Immortal had already surpassed the Regression System, evident by his punch that sent the other party flying.
“Die!” The Hunter System roared before slashing forth with its claymore, alarmed when its attack only scratched Immortal. Suddenly, a palm projection slammed at it from the sky, forming a massive depression on the ground as cracking sounds emanated from its body.
The Grade 2 Systems were almost outclassed as the Grade 3 Systems struggled further. If not for Regression holding down the fort, there would have been multiple casualties already.
Slayer had already captured four Grade 2 Systems by now, perfectly taking advantage of the situation to profit while Arnark focused on Tell-Tale System and its two Grade 3 bodyguards.
Crackle!
A lightning infused palm smacked the Regression System in the chest, sending it flying for almost a hundred metres, causing it to come to a stop after colliding with a hill. It gasped a little, glaring at Immortal before it shuddered in shock, only now noticing that its power was no longer flowing into Stencil, ‘What, when did this happen?’
It hurriedly focused on its fragments present in the Xianxia worlds, using the connection to converge upon the tunnel where Compass Carburettor was resisting the flow of power with all his might.
Boom! Crackle!
It was alarmed upon noticing massive fate streams converge upon the apocalyptic setting, this time lured in by something else. It glared at the Mental Energy streams jutting between the bodies of the Systems, “That was your plan all along, Compass?”
“Tch!” Compass Carburettor glared in tension as he observed the massive convergence of fate, ‘It seems Dota’s interference is more important than I predicted.’
