Friendship City Hikari, on the second floor of the diner Suiren After waking up and taking a light shower, Kaori was toweling herself off in the changing area when her gaze drifted to the large mirror.
Shed bought a high-quality full-length mirror recently, thanks to having a bit more financial leeway. But as she looked at the reflection staring back at her, her expression turned thoughtful.

Running a diner by herself meant Kaori constantly worked with water, cooking, washing dishes. Even with her skill in water magic to simplify things, she always had to worry about her hands getting rough.
