Fortune-sans Provisional Blessing for Cornelia-san had come to an end. Even though it was only temporary, receiving the Blessing of a High-ranking God was apparently a very significant matter among the nobility. While Cornelia-san expressed her gratitude, there was also an unmistakable hint of anxiety on her face.

When Lilia-san had previously received Chronois-sans Provisional Blessing, she had been buried under a mountain of letters, so I figured Cornelia-san was worried about ending up in the same situation.

Still, this wasnt an easy problem to solve. For example, if I asked Alice to warn the other nobles not to send letters to Cornelia-san, we might also end up preventing the normal correspondence thats necessary for noble society.

There were plenty of cases where someone approached another out of self-interest at first, only for that relationship to grow into a dependable alliance over time. I didnt really understand the intricacies of noble socializing well enough to judge.

Well, if someone possessed an absurd power like omniscience, they might be able to pinpoint only the troublesome individuals and discreetly warn them but having someone like an Omniscient and Omnipotent God step in just to deal with the aftermath of a High-ranking Gods Provisional Blessing would completely defeat the purpose.

Given that, the best thing I could do was probably wait and see for now, and lend Cornelia-san a hand if she ended up in over her head.

[No, no, I think thats incredible. Being guaranteed to succeed at something with around a ten percent chance sounds amazingly powerful]

Shes really avoiding eye contact there. Her appearance gave off this dazzling, radiant impression, the sort that looked like it would naturally bring good fortune, but whenever she talked to me, she kept her gaze fixed diagonally downward, trembling the whole time. It wasnt the nicest way to put it, but she gave off the aura of an introvert.

Well, if I took Fortune-sans words at face value, then my fortune must have been as dazzling as the sun, making it impossible for her to look directly at me.
