Chapter 1959: Fang Zhenxiong’s Tribulation

Those mysterious black-clothed cultivators, powerful in strength and elusive in movement, have caused significant damage to the Qingyun Sect. As he spoke, the group of people had arrived in front of a grand hall situated halfway up the mountain. Above the hall hung a golden plaque inscribed with the words "Deliberation Hall" in large characters.

"Alright, follow me for now," Qin Mingyuan said, "The Sect Leader and several elders should be deliberating inside the hall at this moment. You have been missing for years and now return safely; you should report to them first."

The three of them exchanged glances, seeing a hint of gravity in each other’s eyes. They knew that what lay ahead might not just be a simple report but possibly a turbulent trial.

Especially with Elder Fang Zhenxiong of the Law Enforcement Hall, being a staunch supporter of the war faction and having past disagreements with them, he would likely not let them off easily.

Upon entering the Deliberation Hall, a solemn and somber atmosphere greeted them.

Upon seeing the three enter, a subtle icy glint flashed across his gaze.

"Reporting to the Sect Leader and honored elders," Qin Mingyuan stepped forward and bowed, "The disciples Luo Qingchen, Lin Wan’er and Su Xiaowan, who have been missing for years, have safely returned to the sect today and are here to report to the Sect Leader and all elders."

At these words, a slight stir arose within the hall. All eyes swiftly focused on the three of them.

The usually calm eyes of Master Xuan Yang revealed a trace of surprise. He slowly spoke in a steady and forceful tone, "Luo Qingchen, Lin Wan’er, Su Xiaowan, you have finally returned."

"Disciple Luo Qingchen, paying respects to the Sect Leader, and all elders!" The three simultaneously bowed in greeting.

"No need for formalities," Master Xuan Yang slightly raised his hand, "Where have you been all these years since your disappearance? What have you experienced? Speak in detail."

Luo Qingchen stepped forward, took a deep breath, and truthfully began recounting the series of dangers they encountered after mistakenly entering the Life-taking Swamp, as well as their experiences in the Meteorite Pit and Luofeng Slope to the Sect Leader and elders.

He deliberately omitted the specific details about the Star Map fragments and the speculations about Bai Ling’er’s Dragon Maiden identity, merely mentioning acquiring some ancient relics by chance and implying Bai Ling’er had a unique constitution that can bring fortune and avert calamity.

Even so, upon hearing their thrilling experiences in encountering phantoms in the Underground Ancient Hall, outsmarting the Meteorite Demon Spider in the Meteorite Pit, and being besieged by Qingmu Sect and Zhao Family cultivators at Luofeng Slope, the elders in the hall couldn’t help but utter low exclamations.

Particularly, when Luo Qingchen mentioned they had slain several demonic cultivators and clashed with forces like the Qingmu Sect and Zhao Family, Fang Zhenxiong noticeably furrowed his brow.

After Luo Qingchen finished speaking, a moment of silence enveloped the hall.

"The Sect Leader is mistaken!" A resounding voice suddenly rang out—it was Elder Fang Zhenxiong of the Law Enforcement Hall. He stood up, eyes brightly fixed on Luo Qingchen, "Disciples facing oppression outside and rising up to resist, what wrong is there in that?
