Chapter 1946: Snatching People (Part 4)

The Formation on the gate looked somewhat familiar to Mo Hua, but he had never seen it before, nor had he truly learned it, so he didn’t know the intricacies of these Formations.

He really wanted to see how Mr. Pi would decrypt the Formation, but he was afraid of being suspected by Mr. Pi, so he stood properly without any movement.

Mr. Pi was decrypting the Formation.

Mo Hua just stood there like that.

After an indeterminate amount of time, Mr. Pi seemed to have finally finished his deductions, and he started using a Bronze pen dipped in Ink to delineate the Formation Patterns on the gate.

Mo Hua resisted looking.

But after holding back for a long, long time, Mr. Pi still seemed unfinished, and Mo Hua couldn’t resist anymore, so he glanced lightly out of the corner of his eye.

With just that glance, Mo Hua realized that Mr. Pi had actually finished drawing.

Just that after he finished drawing, the Formation on the gate wasn’t decrypted, and Mr. Pi, puzzled, gravely began to check.

But as he checked over and over, he seemed unable to find the problem.

Mo Hua’s "Junior Brother" habit surfaced, and naturally, he started to check the "homework" for Mr. Pi too.

After the first check, Mo Hua also didn’t find any problem because after all, he didn’t really know this type of "Earth Formation".

After all, having a mistake discovered by someone else in a Formation you drew yourself is quite damaging to one’s pride.

Especially this Mr. Pi, who at first glance, is an experienced elder Formation Master.

This "junior" correcting him might be something he couldn’t accept.

So Mo Hua held back once again and kept silent.

He hoped Mr. Pi could find the problem himself.

But Mr. Pi was not living up to expectations.

He furrowed his brows, checking over and over, spending a full hour without realizing where exactly he went wrong in his drawing.

Mo Hua watched, and finally, couldn’t bear it any longer.

He extended his pale finger, pointing to a Pattern in the corner, speaking to Mr. Pi in a very gentle tone:

"Senior, I don’t really understand... but doesn’t this Pattern look a bit strange?"

Mr. Pi was taken aback, looked in the direction Mo Hua was pointing, stared at that Pattern, deducing it a few times, and his heart skipped a beat.

He turned his head, glanced at Mo Hua, nodded, and said, "It’s wrong here."

"Was it really wrong...," Mo Hua feigned an innocent look.

"Little brother, you have a good eye," Mr. Pi praised.

Mo Hua scratched his head, a bit embarrassed: "Just lucky, let senior laugh."

Mr. Pi took out the Bronze pen, corrected that Pattern, re-injected Spiritual Power, and sure enough, after a moment, the Formation lit up, the Patterns circulated, causing the Patterns on the gate to break inch by inch.

The Formation on the door was broken, and the gate slowly lifted.

Everyone looked slightly pleased.

"Let’s go," the gray-robed Golden Core said.

Everyone entered the gate in turn.

Mo Hua also followed the group and walked inside.

Mr. Pi was still at the rear; he collected his Bronze pen, Beast Blood Ink, the waste drafts he deduced earlier, and the reference Formation Diagram, then wiped off the Patterns on the gate to prevent them from being stolen.

After doing all this, Mr. Pi then caught up with the group.

Only, when looking at Mo Hua, his face was extremely unpleasant.
