Chapter 5649: Primeval!

This chapter is updated by JustRead.pl

<THE Aureate Matriarch>

In the deepest spans of the crossing-dark, existence does not bother hiding its age.

There was a Dimension that was one among many which held a rather large number of...Primeval Ones.

This Dimension was known as THE Vhor-Mhal Dimension, and it held a unique disposition unlike many others.

THE Vhor-Mhal Dimension was an architecture built entirely of corpses. A central, floating landmass stretched for gigaparsecs, formed from the petrified, interwoven roots of the very first Observable Existences that had failed to bloom.

The first Observable Existences that had failed to bloom! What a wonder such a thing was as it was the home of some of the more ancient Lifeforms!

Standing upon this unfathomable graveyard were thousands of Primeval Lifeforms. They were the earliest children of reality, beings of staggering Dimensionality whose sheer mass warped the local laws of space into screaming loops!

Some were towering, chimeric beasts woven of starlight and bone, while others carried the amplified, weeping Egos of Superbius, Luxuria, and Ira, and a whole lot more. They were ancient, they were unfathomably deep, and they were grand!

At the head of this particular massive tribunal stood THE Aureate Matriarch.

She was a Primeval One who looked exactly like a colossal, unmoving golden statue. Her form was immaculate and perfectly proportioned, draped in the shifting, invisible weight of harvested eras. Above her head, the golden sign of her Ordination turned slowly in the dark. She carried the Mantle of THE ELDER.

She did not shout to be heard over the groaning Dimension. She spoke, and her cold, calm voice simply became the only truth the air was permitted to carry.

"My children. My brothers. My sisters," THE Aureate Matriarch spoke, her golden eyes sweeping over the thousands of assembled ancients.

"Some have the habit of ignoring the foundations they stand upon. They look at the millions of Observable and Unobservable Existences scattered across the dark, and they believe these realms simply happened. They believe authority is a hammer they just found in the dirt."

She paced slowly across the petrified roots, every step ringing like a tolling bell.

"They forget who planted the seeds. We are the Primeval Ones. We did not merely watch the First Lifeforms. We steered the formation of Existence. We harvested and utilized the backing of millions of Causes, stacking the burdens of existence upon our own backs to ensure Existence did not collapse. Our methodology of power is so deeply rooted that even Those Who Remain look at our Causes as a weight that can rival THE Argent Loom, or the volatile fusion of Infinity and THE Primordial Source."

Her golden eyes narrowed, the only movement on her pristine, statue-like face.

"Our place in existence is grand. And yet, portions of our brethren are being treated like nothing. A faction of Descendants, clutching the borrowed authority of Their Fathers, is shackling our kin. They lock Primeval Lifeforms in metal cages and inhibit their power, treating the architects of the eras like common Bounded Lifeforms, or worse. They believe they can prune us."

HUUM!

The Matriarch raised one massive golden hand toward the firmament.

"Will we stand for this?!"

WAA!

The tribunal of thousands shook with absolute, unyielding rage!

The light of boundless Causes erupted across the petrified roots in blinding flashes of crimson, gold, and violet. Primeval beasts roared, their terrifying Intents expanding to crush the void. Beings of Superbius and Ira unleashed their Egos in shockwaves that physically tore the firmament of THE Vhor-Mhal apart, their fury echoing like the dying screams of a hundred Dimensions!

The Matriarch lowered her hand, letting the fury wash over her unmoving form.

"The fracture of Vakochev’s Scales was merely a symptom of a rotting house. But THE Provenance of Existence has descended, and it paves a way for us. The new Ruling pays for roles. It funds the actors. With it, we can impose the oldest Narratives in existence upon these ignorant children. For who holds grander Narratives than those who have seen the births and guided the weavings of millions of Observable Existences and Unobservable Existences?"

She stepped forward, her voice rising with tyrannical certainty.

"We will allow the emergence of countless Narratives. We will ensure that THE Pax, and all those who hide behind cages, learn exactly what we are. The Descendants are not the only ones with the support of Those Who Remain! Existence is vast, and full of terrors. Existence is vast... and full of us."

BOOM!

Far above the gigaparsec landmass, the sky vanished.

The dark firmament was replaced by the crushing, terrifying weight of four massive eyes. Four of THE Immense Ones had opened their gazes to look down upon the tribunal.

Boundless, pure Existential Moirai rushed down from the eyes like breaking oceans!

The localized destiny wrapped around the thousands of Primeval Lifeforms, feeding their Egos, stabilizing their Causes, and amplifying their terrifying Dimensionalities.

THE Aureate Matriarch bathed in the falling currency, her golden form shining like a newborn sun. As the Moirai washed over her, a message bypassed her ears and burned directly into her ancient consciousness. It carried the bloodshot, breathless weight of THE SLEEPLESS FIEND.

The stage is expanding, O First Children.

A budding Narrative of Existence involving many is blooming. It gathers the Ordained. It gathers the unique anomalies.

Select your youngest. Select those among you who carry the grandest Mantles, and send them to the stage. They shall participate. They shall establish the Narratives of the Primeval Ones across the bodies of the arrogant, and they shall be funded beyond measure.

THE Aureate Matriarch looked up at the four weeping eyes in the sky. She felt the absolute validation of Existence backing her claim, the very architects of reality handing her a stage to unleash the wrath of her kin.

"Let the young ones sharpen their fangs," the golden statue murmured, a cruel smile finally breaking her pristine features.

They were grand, and they were old. Who the fuck did others think they were to step over them?!
