Chapter 1736: Thirteen Transcendent Foundation (II)

However, if Wang Wei had the choice, he probably would have chosen bulldozing over Di Tian and everybody else in that last battle.

’There is no pill for regrets, so what’s the point of thinking all of this?’ Wang Wei thought while shaking his head. There was no point in wasting time on such matters, so he focused on something he truly cares for: his Spirit Flower Ability. At first, Wang Wei expected a new ability or a drastic change to his Soul Network, but that’s not what happened.

This unique ability, which has accompanied him for most of his life, has indeed improved. The scope of the Soul Network has drastically increased, covering half of the Chaos Universe. Wang Wei believes that by the time he becomes a Primordial Saint, his Soul Network will cover the entire Chaos Universe and maybe other timelines in the Infinite Trichiliocosm.

’At least now, I don’t have to worry too much about Primordial Saints discovering the network,’ Wang Wei sighed. Another update is the ability’s concealment. Previously, Wang Wei had Red Mask spread the soul network to other Chaos Worlds; he specifically asked her to build methods to prevent Saints from detecting it. Now, Wang Wei probably doesn’t need these methods; no, he might be able to use them to hide from even the best Primordial Saints.

Wang Wei looked outside his seclusion. "The battle is about to start?" A few hundred yuan epochs have passed, and it was time for another round of attacks. The three flowers above Wang Wei’s head suddenly released a rainbow each. They then turned into gilded lights that entered Wang Wei’s body. He immediately felt a sublimation unlike anything he had ever experienced. No, he had felt similar sublimation when he condensed his [Perfect Foundation]

’Another characteristic is being added to my [Existence], but it’s not complete yet,’ Wang Wei thought. He could guess what was missing: he needed to regain his former strength and complete the last step of re-establishing his foundation. However, despite the pain, Wang Wei did not do so immediately. The priority was adapting to the Eternal Class Strength and checking on this new ability.

Wang Wei used his Dream Battle Technique to condense an Eternal Tier as an opponent. With his [Force Control Skill], it shouldn’t take long to completely control his strength and prepare for the final step. Meanwhile, he also checked the evolution of his Qi Flower Ability.

"It’s not just my soul that bears the burden of Grand Construct Skills, but my body as well," Wang Wei muttered. He instantly understood the difference between S-Class and SS-Class Primals. The former has only their souls optimized, but the latter has their flesh optimized as well. Additionally, the flesh and spirit are in perfect sync, turning into a situation in which one plus one is greater than two.

"Harmony," Wang Wei read the new characteristic in his [Existence] with shining eyes. This new characteristic was perfect for him. One of Wang Wei’s worries has always been the disconnect between his Flesh Cultivation and his Dao Cultivation. The Power of Nothingness and the Power of Fate do not have much in common, and for most of his cultivation journey, Wang Wei had no issue treating them independently.

However, Sanctification is a process of combining every aspect of a cultivator: soul, flesh, spirit, Dao, Dao Will, Dao Heart, willpower, and more. With this [Harmony Characteristic], Wang Wei will have less trouble combining everything — especially the power of his flesh and his Dao.

’My soul and flesh have been optimized, so for the third and final Transcendent Foundation, I need to optimize my Dao,’ Wang Wei analyzed. He sat on the cultivation cushion, thinking about his third foundation.

As the commander of this expedition, someone who created the overall plan and was responsible for killing a top-grade Primordial Saint, Wang Wei could fathom the amount of reserve energy he could gather if he cast the Cause and Effect Feedback Technique.

’That’s settled, but what about the Freedom Fruit — how do I nourish it?’
