Chapter 1095: Eve Of The Final 1.

People had been speculating so hard about what elements the remaining two Takeda bodies would possess that when all five were finally revealed, it left them stunned for a while, the fact that each of them could use their own combat skills while still remaining part of a single entity was enough to shock everyone.

After summoning the first main body, Takeda did not stop there, he immediately began forming hand signs for the second while the Wind Takeda dashed toward the central rune, hoping to disrupt Babatunde’s hold on the point.

That was how the battle began, by the time the rest of the School of Silent Night team reached the central rune, they saw that the remaining Ember Citadel team members were already there as well.

The two sides immediately clashed, while wind Takeda was quick to realize he was a poor matchup for Babatunde, but then Earth Takeda appeared next, and the battle began to even out.

At that stage, Babatunde no longer had the advantage, but that was not the end of it, a third Takeda body joined the fight, and Babatunde was finally killed, breaking the balance entirely.

While Water Takeda stayed behind to capture the central rune for the Silent Night, the other two Takeda bodies moved out to support the rest of the School of Silent Night team.

Even before Babatunde reincarnated, two of his teammates had already been killed, by the time he returned to the central battlefield to help, Fire Takeda had already appeared.

With Fire Takeda there to absorb his explosive attacks, he was eliminated again, and the remaining two members of the Ember Citadel team were also taken out shortly after.

Not long after that, the last main elemental body of Takeda was summoned by the one the crowd now assumed was his progenitor body, with Dark Takeda joining the fight, things only became harder for the Ember Citadel team.

While Takeda’s elemental bodies split into groups of two, and the rest of the School of Silent Night team moved with a group of their choice to capture the other two rune points still under Ember Citadel’s control.

At one of the rune points, they had met head-on with Babatunde and the rest of his team, and it hadn’t been a pleasant scene, the Ember Citadel had thrown all caution away, now hell-bent on killing rather than even maintaining their advantage, considering their captain only has one life left, however they were quick to realize that their way of thinking wouldn’t work against Silent Night, especially with a monster like Takeda ensuring that all rune points fell under his team’s control.

Even though they knew that trying to kill their way to victory was impossible, they simply didn’t want to give up without trying anything.

In the midst of the fighting, the second rune control—that was once under their control, which they had sacrificed just to gather at a single rune point—was finally captured by the split team that had moved to capture it.

This freed the other Takeda elemental body that had moved there to secure it, allowing them to shift over and support the team facing the whole of the Ember Citadel team.

Without wasting time, all of the Ember Citadel members were wiped out, leaving no survivors.

The one the crowd now called the Progenitor body of Takeda floated around with no sense of urgency, his hands behind his back as he observed the environment, while many felt his actions were arrogant, a few believed they were justified. After all, he was showing them what it meant to completely dominate a domination match.

At this point, it became a question of whether his main bodies could kill the Ember Citadel team out or they reached their point limit first and secured the win, because hey were basically dominating the match, and they had the Ember Citadel team ambushed at the only place they could deploy, leaving them no chance to gather their wits after their captain had been eliminated from the match, each time they reincarnated, they were attacked instantly.

Luckily for them, the points seemed to accumulate much faster with five rune points captured, sparing the Ember Citadel members the humiliation of being wiped out even faster than they could have lost under normal circumstances.

But the crowd didn’t care how the Ember Citadel had lost, the battle itself had only heightened their excitement for what was to come in the finals, when the match ended, Takeda’s main body, floating like some kind of superhero with his hands folded behind his back, as he turned towards where Alec sat.

A smirk played on his face, as if silently telling Alec that he would lose when the next day came, and there was no other outcome that would play out.

However, after witnessing such a display and meeting that provocative gaze, Alec didn’t react explosively or get angry. On the contrary, he found himself looking forward to the next day.

He only hoped that the restrictions placed on him would be lifted, so he could teach the arrogant Takeda a lesson without revealing too much, for now, he was certain that Old Man Alderic would speak to the judges about the restrictions on summoning, especially when it was the martial path of his team’s captain being suppressed.

Considering Takeda’s power and the trust the judges seemed to place in him, Alec doubted they would refuse Alderic’s request, and this was one of the reasons he enjoyed being the underdog, because of the fact that people always seems to people underestimated him, and they would never see the shock coming.

Night fell swiftly, and the citizens of all five kingdoms drank away their sorrows and celebrations alike, the finals were now just one match away, and anticipation for the next day burned through the capital.

While the entire city seemed caught in a festive mood, a cloaked figure slipped into the quarters of the School of Silent Night.

The moment he sneaked inside, he felt a small blade press against his neck, forcing him to raise his hands high, showing no intention of resisting at all.

“What do you want here?” the ninja who had emerged from the shadows asked, pressing his blade tighter against the figure’s neck.

The entire Silent Night team had already gathered at the center when they heard noises, along with their instructor, a man who looked to be in his late forties, dressed in a loose dark robe.

His eyes remained closed as he faced the intruder who had dared to enter their quarters on the eve of the finals.

“I came to deliver information concerning the War God Mage Academy team. I’m one of the few who genuinely wants you all to win,” the figure said.

“And why should we trust the words of someone who hides his face and sneaks into our quarters?” the instructor asked, stepping forward, his walking cane struck the ground with each measured step, punctuating his words.

Though his tone was calm, the figure couldn’t shake the feeling that he was being pulled into something far more dangerous than he had anticipated.

Without hesitation, he swiftly removed the hood of his spirit cloak, the very thing that had concealed his identity from prying eyes.
