The leaderboard reward is given every week, though Alec knew he had been receiving a lot of messages since he became Tier 6 number one lord,However he just ignored all messages directed at him, as he had been too busy dealing with the issues in his territory. If a message wasn’t from his private group, he had no intention of opening it.
He believed the only reason so many people were trying to reach out to him was because of his first-place position.
Though he still couldn’t fully understand how the leaderboard worked or what factors were being calculated, he believed the only reason he had claimed first place was because of the accumulated strength of his entire group being under his banner.
After all, his true power was still clearly a mystery to the main system that governed the lords.
Which meant that his rise to first place had only been possible because of external forces, not necessarily because of whatever core factors the system used to judge the strength of a lord.
Even so, now that he had stabilized the agricultural and military issues of his city, Alec felt much better, though he still hadn’t gone to the other cities to see what kind of units they had summoned or how it was meant to compliment those lords inhabiting the territories, he had already left one hundred thousand system points each for the other lords, so they could summon warriors to protect their territories.
His system spirit, which had been idling around the castle in its golem body ever since they arrived in the Origin World, had also explained something important to him, which is the fact that he didn’t need to worry about the soldiers summoned from the army barracks ever betraying him.
Because the summoned soldiers were merely astral bodies crafted by the system, with no attached consciousness belonging to any real being.
Instead, they had simply been imprinted with abilities and instincts that complemented the lord they were meant to serve, so they are hundred percent loyal, as they are like new humans created with one purpose to serve.
There was also the Hero Summoning. Alec had been receiving a lot of messages from his group about the kinds of units they had summoned and how well they were functioning, especially with the heroes delegating tasks like guarding and other responsibilities for them, from what Alec had been reading he could tell that each Hero is well different from the other.
However, Alec still wasn’t ready to check on his own army barracks yet, but just when he thought it was finally time to take a day off from all his endless work, something changed.
The moon above the skies turned red.
[ It’s finally that time of the month. Lords, prepare to be sent to the Blood Moon War Region. ]
[ You have thirty minutes to choose which lord and members of your army will accompany you to the Blood Moon War Region. ]

The moment Alec saw the message, he swiftly resummoned all of his golems into his space pouch.
Though he still didn’t have a deep understanding of what the Blood Moon War Region truly was, he had a rough idea of what it meant.
Even so, with the little knowledge he had gained from his City Heart, he didn’t want to take any of the other lords with him.
He only wanted to head into the Origin Realm’s Blood Moon War himself first and properly understand it before ever deciding who he would want to bring along next time.
[ Wondering how these newbies are going to fare this time. ]
[ Let’s kill those bastards from the Dragonmen race together again. ]
[ Hell no. I almost lost my life last time. I just hope the Zergs that attack this time aren’t as dangerous. ]
In both the regional chat and the main chat, there were probably thousands of messages being sent every minute, and if there was one thing that kept appearing over and over again, it was the Zerg.
Alec had only a tiny bit of knowledge about that race, but he knew one thing for certain, he had never heard of the Zerg being part of the abyssal races back in the Five Kingdom Continent.
And he was sure of it, if something like that had ever been mentioned, he would definitely have remembered, because he knew exactly how dangerous the Zerg race truly was.
After recalling all of his golems, Alec finally decided it was time to send a message to his group.
[Alec: When I’m gone, I’ll be leaving the defense of our territories to you guys. I trust and believe you can handle anything that comes your way until I return, so do not hesitate to use the soldiers under your command.]
This was the message Alec dropped into the group chat shared between him and his sub-lords.
After he was done with that, it wasn’t long before his City Heart—the cube—floated slightly above his head, and a beam of light flashed down, and when it finally faded, Alec was no longer seated on his throne.
He had been teleported to an entirely different place, as the light took him away, his citizens all saw a flash of light that pierced into the skies and immediately understood what it meant—that their lord had been teleported to the battle zone.
They all began praying for his safe return, hoping nothing would happen to him.
After all, he had been the only lord who had come and shown them such compassion, and he seemed far more interested in their welfare than in his own cultivation, especially considering that many of them were still living in parts of the castle palace with him while his workers rebuilt the residential area.

Elsewhere, Lucas dropped into what looked like a simple clearing, with a cube exactly like a City Heart levitating in place before him.
However, he could immediately tell it wasn’t his.
He looked up into the sky and saw two red moons suspended high above, just as a system message flashed before his eyes.
[You have thirty minutes to go kill demonic beasts and bring them back to your temporary City Heart to use as energy in order to summon things. This round is called the Defense Tower Format. If your City Heart is destroyed, you lose the means to protect yourself, which may lead to your death when the Zerg wave attacks. This attack will last about 72 hours.]
“Just how have you been able to still outshine many in this realm too, Alec?” Lucas muttered as he drew the sword from his back and started dashing toward the clearing ahead.
Trying to see if he could spot any demonic beasts to hunt before the main Defense Tower phase began.

Elsewhere, Alec landed on a stretch of clear ground and saw the exact same message, with the cube levitating not too far away from him.
“This is a drag,” Alec muttered. At first, he thought it might be easy enough, since the only opponents he and his golems would likely face should be Tier 6 enemies.
However, the moment he tried summoning his golems to spread out and help him hunt through the area, another notification appeared above his screen.
[All summonin
g will remain locked for one hour.]
Alec “^” stared at it for a second.
“The fu—”
