Chapter 1904 Warning

This chapter is updated by JustRead.pl

<Your Majesty, a calamity is chasing me-please, you must find a solution!> Lady of the Covenant, Morgana, spoke with intense anxiety, her voice trembling slightly as she tried to contain her fear. <The Vanguard Radiance Stellar Academy and the Deep Mist Stellar Academy have completely stopped fulfilling their sacred duties against Anti-Life. They no longer go out to fight the Plague, nor do they pursue individuals whose karma surpasses three stars. It seems no one is enforcing order anymore. And now everyone is talking, whispering that they are preparing to establish millennial empires of their own!

"..."

<All the influential powers in Sector 99 are pressing me relentlessly now,> she continued, her worry intensifying, <pushing me to assume the title of a Star Academy ahead of schedule. They want me to immediately deploy a Peacekeeping Army to compensate for the complete absence of both the Vanguard Radiance Stellar Academy and the Deep Mist Stellar Academy. A Peacekeeping Army of the academies, mind you, would have at least the strength of an entire millennial empire. Tell me, Your Majesty... where am I supposed to summon such an army from, at a time like this?>

.......

<What am I supposed to do?> Morgana's voice became almost desperate. <If I refuse, our reputation will suffer irreparably, and the entire sector will perceive us as weak and incapable. Some of the powers have even gone so far as to subtly threaten that, should we fail to display a Peacekeeping Army, we could be attacked, perhaps even annihilated. Yet, if I agree... I will need a fully operational Peacekeeping Army immediately to even begin implementation. In either case-whether for defending the academy in case of refusal, or for preparing and supporting a Peacekeeping Army-I fear the payments the academy sends to the three empires may have to be suspended for an indefinite period. There is no clear timeline for this, no certainty that the empires will wait patiently while we scramble to respond.>

".........."

"Well... this was certainly unexpected..." Neri murmured, crossing her arms, a mixture of concern and astonishment evident on her face.

"...What exactly is happening out there?" Robin muttered in a low, tense voice, then suddenly shouted, "Has the world gone completely mad? They actually want to force an ordinary academy to become a Stellar Academy against its will?! This is absurd! Completely absurd!"

In reality, Robin had been preparing for every possible scenario: political maneuvers, military campaigns, bribes, even covert assassinations to silence any rivals who opposed appointing the Sacred Covenant Academy as a Star Academy. He had planned meticulously, expecting to deal with obstacles and enemies in calculated ways... yet now, without any warning, it appeared that all the external powers were pushing the Sacred Covenant Academy to assume the Stellar Academy title on their own initiative. Even without a Guardian present to oversee them?! How was this even possible?

"A Peacekeeping Army... damn it all." Robin clenched his fists, knuckles whitening. "I had carefully planned that if I survived Nihari's promotion, I would officially confer Stellar Academy status on the Sacred Covenant Academy. At that time, I could have carved off a portion of my army and handed it over to the academy for peacekeeping duties. Back then, the army's involvement wouldn't have been as critical as it is now-my needs were far more manageable." He slammed his palm against his forehead in frustration. "Where am I supposed to find an army at a time like this?!"

Raising his voice even higher, Robin gestured sharply at Morgana's image, his anger and disbelief boiling over. "And what exactly do you mean by saying that the academy's funding will be cut-cut, for heaven's sake?! Is the universe playing some cruel joke on me? Am I expected to return to working like an unending cog in the Truth Chamber, trapped forever in mediocrity, and abandon all my ambitions and plans because of this utter madness?!"

Neri hesitated, biting her lip before speaking cautiously, "... Perhaps if you relinquished control of Mid Sector 100 and both Medium and Young Sector 101, it could-"

"Silence!" Robin snapped, refusing to hear any further suggestions. He sat down abruptly in a peculiar posture, his mind now operating at enhanced capacity, processing multiple layers of information simultaneously.

Whoosh Whoosh Whoosh

The torrent of soul force flowing intensely into his spiritual domain came to a sudden halt. Then, three additional Robins manifested, all seated in meditation. Each one reflected on the same predicament, yet followed different lines of thought, different strategies, and alternative scenarios. Together, they formed a mental council of four, contemplating solutions from every possible angle.

"...Timari," Robin's primary consciousness began, drawing upon the insights of the other three manifestations before speaking aloud again, "why are the Stellar Vanguard Radiance Academy and the Stellar Deep Mist Academy behaving in such a reckless, incomprehensible manner? Is this still tied to the rumors surrounding the Cosmic Elder, his marriage, and the tales of his youth? Or has something far stranger begun to influence them?"

Of course, Robin heard about the matter the very moment the rumors began to spread. At first, he simply laughed it off, dismissing it as idle speculation, and quickly put it out of his mind. However, once signs of chaos started appearing across multiple sectors, he and Theo were forced to revise several carefully prepared plans, reshaping them to better fit the rapidly changing situation. Even so, no matter how many contingencies he had considered, Robin never expected that the Stellar Academies themselves of all entities- would plunge into the chaos as well!

"That's right, and they're not the only ones," Timari said, nodding twice to emphasize her words. "Nearly eighty to ninety percent of the academies across the entire universe have either slowed their response to a crawl or completely halted the mobilization of their Peacekeeping Forces. What's worse, a number of them have already begun expanding their territories openly!"

"I don't understand..." Robin muttered, his voice filled with disbelief. "Where does this kind of audacity even come from? Aren't they afraid that this is nothing more than rumors? That he'll return one day and strike them all down for their cowardice?" His tone sharpened. "That person could crush every last one of them with a single flick of his hand!"

He then knit his brows together and lowered his gaze to the floor. "...Or do they simply not factor in his anger at all, just because he has never attacked humans before?" he continued quietly. "Are they planning to apologize the moment he appears, once it becomes clear that everything was just baseless rumors?" A harsh, angry laugh escaped him. "...The real problem is that the Cosmic Elder I know would actually let them off without punishment."

Slowly, Robin lifted his head again, his brows still faintly furrowed, and began speaking in a low, contemplative voice. "But the elder I know would also make sure to reassure them that he's alive, just to force them back to their duties..." His eyes narrowed slightly. "So why is he ignoring all of this? Is it really possible that he doesn't know what's happening at all?"

Still holding his head high, Robinstared at Morgana's face for a long moment. Then he exhaled softly. "Heh-" With a tired wave of his hand, he dismissed the image entirely.

"Lord Human, shall I present the latest message?" Timari asked carefully, having sensed that Robin was on the verge of withdrawing his spiritual perception and

leaving altogether.

"From whom this time?" Robin replied with a weary sigh. "Is Kristan asking for funding to feed his beasts? Or perhaps Renara wants funding to bite off her sister's ear?" He shook his head. "I doubt any of that matters at this point." Morgana's message had been the final mercy strike to his once-quiet life. There was no escaping it now-he would have to exhaust himself with work all over again.

A potential war against the Syndicate, coupled with the academy's funding being cut off, was already more than enough. He could scarcely imagine a scenario worse than that.

"Oh, Lord Human, it is without a doubt important," Timari said, shaking her

head gently. "It has been waiting for you for months now. I truly don't believe postponing it any further would be a wise decision." She raised her hand lightly. "Allow me to take the initiative and present it myself."

Hoooom Robin's eyes snapped fully open. The instant the image appeared, the atmosphere shifted dramatically, as if the surrounding space itself had been altered.

A terrifying wave of soul pressure spread outward!

No-this was impossible. Spiritual pressure couldn't be released inside another person's domain... could it?

Was this nothing more than an illusion?!

Robin lifted his wide-open eyes, only to find the image of a man he had never seen before.

The man wore a wide red robe, and a round, pyramid-shaped necklace rested prominently on his chest. His body was slender, yet not sickly, tall but still well within the limits of an average human frame.

His features suggested a man in his sixties-his face was clean-shaven, his head completely bald, and his eyes were lined with intensely dark black paint.

Those eyes... his wide, unblinking eyes carried a deeply unsettling sensation. They radiated an oppressive, suppressive aura, exuding unmistakable power that pressed down on the soul itself.

Then Robin heard the recorded words-yet strangely, it felt as though the man were staring directly into his eyes, speaking to him personally, without any barrier at all:

"<Restrain your Shadow Dogs from my sector, and withdraw your bull from the neighboring sector. Otherwise, I will deal with them myself- O future Great Truth Chosen. Or should I say... Robin Burton.>"
