Chapter 1933 Peacekeeping forces

This chapter is updated by JustRead.pl

"Amazing..." Morgana murmured softly as she continued listening to Hist Majesty's message, her thoughts lagging a step behind the calm, confident voice addressing her.

Had he truly already begun devising ways to exploit the very dangerous predicament she had believed would shake the entire empire to its core and bring every one of his grand plans to a sudden halt?

Morgana shook her head with a quiet, helpless sigh. She had clearly overthought it. Someone who had reached this level of authority and vision must have endured trials far harsher, crises far more devastating than this. It was only natural that such a person would not be shaken by something she herself found overwhelming.

<Now for the next requirement you'll need: World Cataclysms Realm Experts and Beyond.> Robin's message continued to give.

Robin's message continued seamlessly, his tone as steady as ever, each sentence falling into place like part of a meticulously crafted design.

"<You do not currently possess forces of that level, and I will not send you the Grave forces. First, they already have matters occupying them. Second, doing so would cause people to view the Academy of the Sacred Covenant as a subsidiary of the Grave Empire, and that would be extremely bad for business. It is sufficient that they protected the academy during its earliest days.>"

"<After raising the academy's prices, I assume your annual profit will reach roughly five billion? I want you to allocate a portion of that as rent, used to partially hire power centers at the level of World Cataclysm or higher. Set a clear condition that all of them must be nobles from well-known and reputable powers within the sector. Include in the contract that they are required to undertake a fixed number of missions each year in exchange for that payment, and that this arrangement will not interfere with their existing duties toward their own empires.>"

"<With this announcement alone, you will find that the number of World Cataclysms and Nexus States wishing to apply will far exceed what you are capable of accepting. Should that happen, select your candidates from among the powers with whom you were unable to establish commercial ties, and hand those forces the contracts. Once again, this will bind you to all the powers of the universe through a threefold bond: first, by educating their offspring; second, by turning them into manufacturers from whom you purchase whatever you require; and third, by granting their elites high-paying positions, along with a place where they gather to listen to the orders of a single individual your orders.>"

Then he smiled, the confidence behind that smile almost palpable even through the message.

"<In this way, Morgana, you will resolve the first two problems with ease and secure a position no stellar academy has ever reached before. If anyone dares even to sneeze in the direction of the academy, a million people will rise to silence them. You will gain true, unquestionable immunity.>"

"...?!" Morgana parted her lips slightly, a trace of awe and unease slipping into her heart despite herself.

Why did all of this suddenly feel so vast, so far beyond what she believed she could shoulder?

"<Now that we have resolved the issues of funding sources, crafts, equipment, and power houses, the remaining problem is the ground forces-and the solution to that lies with me. However, addressing this particular issue will require multiple layers of planning, applied step by step, until the final image of the army is fully formed. As I told you before, we will not rely on the sacrifice of soldiers.>"

"<We will show the entire universe how different we are, how our academy surpasses every other academy that has appeared throughout history, and how our independent system is the only true system. I no longer aspire for the Academy of the Sacred Covenant to remain a mere stellar academy, Morgana. That decayed framework no longer carries any weight in my eyes after my most recent conversation with the Cosmic Elder Zolan. We will establish our own path-and we will do so by spending pearls. A great deal of it.>"

Gulp.

Morgana felt, very clearly now, that the situation was beginning to spiral far beyond anything she had initially imagined. She had only asked for permission to establish peacekeeping forces-so where had all these layered plans, hidden implications, and escalating complexities come from? And now even the Cosmic Elder had become part of the equation?!

Her thoughts felt heavy, tangled, as if she were standing at the edge of something vast and dangerous.

"<First of all, the initial backbone of your forces will be the Light Swords. You are authorized to requisition seventy-five percent of Billy's troops, fully equipped and armed, to serve as the foundation of the peacekeeping army. They have long acted as internal guards within the Academy of the Sacred Covenant, and everyone is already accustomed to their presence. Their transition will feel natural, almost seamless. Billy himself will adore the title 'Peacekeeping Forces' and will most certainly insist on participating personally -haha,>"

Morgana could almost picture Billy's expression already.

"<Second, once the Army of Light Swords arrives and the public sees with their own eyes that the academy possesses a military force of its own, I want you to open voluntary recruitment to every power in the sector and to all empires. Announce that you are willing to hire idle or underutilized battalions at generous rates, depending on their condition, with a clear promise to minimize casualties among their ranks. Trust me-applications will flood in. Most empires are more than willing to lease out a portion of their armies as mercenaries if the income is worthwhile.>"

"<From among those applicants, select only a few battalions that meet your standards. Choose them specifically from powers with whom you have no commercial relationships and no existing agreements to lease high-tier experts. And here lies the true intent... In addition to those battalions, I want you to legally contract the Crixian battalion from the Grave Empire-under the direct command of General Kandal himself.>"

"General Kandal? The Crixians?!"

Morgana was utterly stunned. "Marshal Aro will not be pleased by this..."

They were legendary, their reputation preceding them by centuries. Even before pledging allegiance to His Majesty, Morgana had heard countless tales about them. A towering race standing nearly three meters tall, possessing overwhelmingly powerful physiques and wings that granted them true flight. Their bloodline carried traces of a Beast King from the dragon race, and they could wield blue flames so fearsome that even hardened veterans prayed never

to face them.

They were one of the three elite battalions of the Grave Empire. General Kandal himself was an aide to Marshal Aro and one of his closest confidants. Rumor held that while he was not the most refined strategist among the Grave Empire's elite, he was certainly among the most vicious and cunning-a man who derived genuine pleasure from tormenting his enemies. This was hardly surprising, given that he had once been the leader of a shadow organization known as the Fire Salamander, and he had never fully abandoned its ruthless

methods.

Could Marshal Aro truly afford to let them go?

"<The Purgatory Flame wielded by the Crixian race is the mosteffective countermeasure against the plague in all its forms. Its mere presence on the battlefield will instill terror-it will make the enemy wish to flee before combat even begins. Battles will be decided before they truly start. The Purgatory Flame is absolute agony to the plague, and this alone will drastically reduce casualties among your forces, fulfilling the promises you make to the sector's

powers.>"

"<As for Aro, he will resist at first -he may protest, perhaps even shout- but in the end, he will comply. Do not concern yourself with him. He can manage with his remaining forces. The Crixians' presence within the peacekeeping army is far more critical, and besides, they will not remain under your command for

long.>"

At that moment, Robin slowly raised his hand. A small, luminous soul sphere materialized above his palm, humming softly with contained power. He pushed it forward toward the recording, his tone calm yet resolute.

"<And here, we arrive at the third stage. The stage of completely eradicating the plague from Sector 99 Mid.>"
