Chapter 1967 The Savage

This chapter is updated by JustRead.pl

Sector 105, Middle - Savage Galaxy

Within a garden that seemed vast enough to contain both sky and earth at once, gigantic plants of utterly bizarre and alien shapes rose toward the heavens like ancient pillars tasked with holding up the firmament itself. Beneath their colossal canopies floated other plants-strange, drifting organisms that fed on clouds, absorbed mist and vapor, then gently rained down glowing flowers like slow, natural snowfall. Below all of this, the treant creatures moved freely and calmly, massive wooden beings pulling their roots out of the ground with unhurried ease as they searched for better places to spend the coming century in tranquility, burrowing once more into soil rich with different nutrients, energies, and life-essence.

And among all of that?

Small plants filled every corner and every space without exception-sprouting stubbornly along the sides of the colossal trees and treants, clinging to bark and roots, or simply thriving on their own within natural circles hundreds of meters wide. Each one of those radiant plants was no ordinary lifeform, but a priceless treasure-treasures that had survived for millions, or even tens of millions, of years, silently accumulating vitality and history.

This place could be described as nothing less than a paradise for plants-and for plant lovers, scholars, and cultivators alike...

But this paradise had never been made for them, nor was it ever meant to welcome the weak.

Screeee-

At that moment, a gigantic bird passed overhead, its length stretching for hundreds of meters as it cut through the sky. It resembled a hawk in shape, yet it possessed two vicious heads and three powerful legs. Its feathers burned with a mysterious, ever-shifting flame, and its eyes emitted a terrifying, savage aura that crushed the spirit. Merely the shadow it cast upon the garden floor was enough to terrify all the treant creatures below, forcing them to freeze in instinctive dread.

Then-hisss--seconds later, something far more unsettling began moving among the towering plants. A serpent slithered forth, resembling a colossal dark train with no visible beginning and no discernible end. Wherever its immense body passed, the soil beneath it withered and died instantly, yet the botanical paradise regenerated that dead land at an alarming speed, as if even decay itself was temporary here.

"Ahh... aaah!!"

Several human women mentally collapsed the instant they witnessed a serpent tens of meters tall and nearly a thousand meters long moving through the area -a massive existence to which they appeared no different from insects. The dense, oppressive aura radiating from it was so heavy and suffocating that the women could barely even control their terrified screams, let alone their bodies. hisss-

The multi-eyed serpent continued moving silently toward them-without the excitement of a predator and without any attempt at concealment. It simply approached with eerie calm, opened its mouth slightly, and then-whoosh- several long tongues shot out at once, coiling around dozens of the bound, screaming women. In a single smooth motion, it pulled them into its maw and continued forward without pause, already seeking its next prey.

Rooooooaaar-

Soon after, a deafening roar echoed from the same area as a massive winged feline burst through the garden's airspace, its presence tearing through the atmosphere. Then the creatures began appearing one after another in horrifying density, in a manner that was completely unnatural. Under normal circumstances, a single one of these beings could dominate an entire planet and slaughter any partner or rival without difficulty-but here, they moved alongside one another with a strange, unsettling normalcy.

All of them possessed similar colossal sizes and dreadful auras-auras no weaker than a Nexus State, and quite clearly, some among them had already surpassed that stage entirely.

In particular, one specific aura overshadowed all the others-an aura deeply entrenched within the garden itself, vast and immovable, like the will of the land.

"Khah-ptoo!"

In the very center of the garden, someone spat with clear irritation and impatience.

There sat a man in his forties, lounging comfortably on a couch as if this place were nothing more than a private courtyard. He leaned lazily with his left arm against thick cushions, one leg casually raised atop the other, his right hand resting on his thigh with complete disregard for his surroundings.

He had long purple hair, and a thick purple beard that reached down to his abdomen. His mustache and eyebrows were no less dense or wild. From above his ears protruded two blunted horns, and his forehead was covered with small scales that shifted subtly between a wheat-colored human skin tone and deep purple. His gaze alone was sharp and savage-enough to freeze even the toughest men in place without him needing to release a single strand of aura. He wore only a single layer of clothing: a loose purple-and-black robe that left his massive arms and powerfully built chest exposed, as if he felt no need for protection.

Everything about that man-who was casually sunbathing in a garden inhabited exclusively by Beast Kings-radiated absolute, primal savagery.

He continued to observe a Beast King nearby, a colossal turtle-ape creature calmly drinking from a shimmering lake of condensed energy essence, before muttering to himself in a low voice,

"Fate Unbending and Second Chance, huh... it seems the boy Hedrick will be receiving even more support soon!"

Then he shouted, his voice reverberating and shaking the entire vast garden, making even the tallest trees quiver under its force, "Prepare a direct communication channel with Darvion immediately! Now!"

"!!"

All the nearby Beast Kings reacted at once. Panic overtook them, and they scattered in every direction-no one dared to remain close to the Master while he was visibly irritated! Even the bravest among them instinctively kept their distance, their claws scraping the ground as they ran.

Whoosh

Right beside that man, the air seemed to compress and vibrate until a figure emerged an elegant, mature woman, her appearance striking and poised, clearly in her early thirties. "Is something wrong?" she asked with a calm, measured tone, though her eyes flickered with curiosity and concern. "It has been a very long time since I heard any hint of irritation in the voice of Zavaros the Great Savage. Your temper today is... unusual."

"Hmph."

The reclining man-Zavaros-let out a low, rumbling grunt, frowning deeply for a few moments. His expression was stormy, a mix of dark thought and restrained fury. "That person who calls himself Human... he has unleashed several practical products that will gather him an unimaginable fortune. Not only will he amass wealth for himself, but he will create an equal amount of fortune for the Dreamer Galaxy in the way, along with influence far beyond what anyone could have expected for both. The Dreamer already controls ten percent of the visible universe, the last thing I wanted was to see him be increased in influence even further."

"Are you angry because this Human is growing in wealth," the Galaxy Spirit tilted her head thoughtfully, "or because he is benefiting the Dreamer?" Her voice was soft but carried an edge, a mixture of curiosity and caution. "Both. In the short term, it is because of his wealth," Zavaros muttered, furrowing his brows deeply as if tracing invisible threads of fate in the distance.

"This means the entire reality of Mid Sector 101 could shift again. The balance we have maintained may soon be disrupted. We must accelerate our plans...

immediately."

"Will you intervene personally?" The Galaxy Spirit's eyebrow rose in question, a faint gleam of challenge in her eyes. "Or will you dispatch some of the Beast Emperors to handle the matter?"

"Neither," Zavaros replied, waving his hand dismissively with an air of cold calculation. "The situation there is not suitable for my personal involvement, nor is it the place for even the mightiest of Beast Emperors. The problem is not the direct confrontation itself-it is that rat who strikes and flees, always evading capture. The real challenge is drawing him out of his hiding place at the exact right moment..."

He then fixed his gaze on the distant horizon, his eyes narrowing as if seeing beyond the physical limits of the universe. "I do not know where he learned these cheap, sneaky tricks. His father... his father thrives on direct confrontation, never retreating from a fight, and that is why he alone is worthy of facing me head-on. He is the only man in the universe I respect on the

battlefield."

"Speaking of his father..." the Galaxy Spirit stepped closer, her voice lowering to

a serious whisper. "Aren't you concerned that he might act soon? Especially considering that you've sent nearly half the army to Sector 101. Wouldn't that

leave a gap you cannot cover personally?"

"....."

Zavaros's brows knitted together slightly as he considered the thought. "I cannot predict his movements. Since this new era began, he has remained entrenched in Sector 110, showing no inclination to intervene in Sectors 109 or 111. His forces remain silent, his children are still out there, playing their intricate little game of empire-building. They have yet to return or take action -yet they are preparing, always preparing."

"Even though he's five sectors away, I remain uneasy. Don't you share this feeling?" The Galaxy Spirit exhaled slowly, her voice tinged with worry. "Especially after we took advantage of his ongoing war with his children and

dispatched the Syndicate to hunt his youngest and most talented child, the one closest to him at the time-Hydras, the promising youth who once held the same place in his esteem as Helen does now... That action drove him into near madness, forcing him to attack us directly."

"He should thank the heavens that I wasn't ready for battle that day," Zavaros

said, his tone cold yet controlled. "Otherwise, He wouldn't have managed to escape here alive."

He waved his hand dismissively, his piercing gaze sweeping over the horizon

like a predator tracking its prey. "...But he will pay the price for that reckless attack, without a single doubt. And the head of that child, Hedrick, will be an appropriate beginning to settle the score."
