Somewhere deep in the vast expanse of Sector 99 Mid-A ship, darker than the void itself, moved with a terrifying grace between the scattered celestial bodies. Its pitch-black hull was so absolute that even if it passed directly beside an observer, it would remain invisible to the naked eye. Only the most sophisticated scanning devices, long-range sensors, and advanced array systems could detect its presence.
And make no mistake-this was not some spectral or ghost ship. It was not a slender, agile craft designed to slip undetected through space, nor was it layered with dozens of hidden systems meant to scramble enemy sensors or evade observation. Instead, this vessel was built from incredibly dense, ultra-durable materials, its structure heavy and imposing, designed for endurance rather than stealth. The majority of its onboard arrays were purely defensive, built to repel attacks and endure bombardments that would crumble lesser ships.
Could someone find it if they tried? Perhaps, though only with extreme effort. Could it be destroyed? Absolutely not, at least not by conventional means. Not unless a Nexus State-level individual, driven by personal hatred and unmatched skill, descended specifically to take it down. Even then, the ship's overwhelming speed and resilience would make its destruction nearly impossible; most likely, it would slip away no matter the strength of the assault.
In size, the ship dwarfed a Flood Note-class vessel but was slightly smaller than a Destruction Note gen-4. Its interior could accommodate hundreds of personnel with ease. The design was far from streamlined; instead, it was deliberately angular and segmented, with four massive forearms extending from the front, as if the ship itself sought to pierce space and smash through anything that lay in its path. Its menacing appearance alone suggested immense strength and calculated aggression.
At the very tip of this astonishing vessel was a symbol-a cogwheel with a dagger emerging from its center, sharp and dangerous. This emblem was not merely decorative; it represented power, defense, and the ability to strike back with devastating force. This was the mark of the Imperial Guard, a symbol known throughout the sector for authority, discipline, and deadly precision.
Inside the ship-
"Hooof-hooof" Holak exhaled sharply, blowing a head-size metallic sphere into the air repeatedly, buying time with idle distractions.
Zing
"Highest Guardian," the captain's voice rang out, calm but authoritative. The man, clad in the distinctive armor of the Imperial Guard, spoke with precision. "We've secured the coordinates."
"Hooo-" Holak stopped mid-breath, sat upright with poise, and smacked his thigh in excitement. "Excellent. Finally, some real action. Let's head-"
Bam
The small metallic sphere fell squarely onto his head, yet he continued speaking as though nothing had happened. "Let's play that new game!!"
"Understood!" The captain nodded firmly, his movements deliberate as he returned to his console. He entered the coordinates into the control panel, pressed a series of precise commands, and then rested his hand on a massive lever.
"Vehicle Transporter Gen-1 will commence in three seconds. All personnel, remain seated and prepare for transit."
"Haha!" Ignoring the orders entirely, Holak leapt to his feet and stood beside the captain. Bam! He slammed the lever down himself with force. "Let's go, finally!!"
Bzzzzt
The four colossal forearms at the front of the ship opened simultaneously, releasing a concentrated white beam aimed at a carefully calculated point. Distortion
Where the beams converged, a strange, oil-like ripple began to form and expand, rapidly developing into an enormous circular portal. The portal was immense, capable of swallowing the entire ship without difficulty. Beyond the shimmering circle, a fully constructed human city appeared-its streets, towers, and buildings clearly not existing moments before in the vast emptiness of space.
Whoosh
The massive vessel surged forward, entering the portal with incredible speed, and vanished from sight in an instant.
Bzzzzt
Booom
The 60-meter-long ship emerged on the other side, colliding violently with several buildings. Structures crumbled beneath the impact as if made of sand, dust and debris flying in every direction. The sheer force of the collision reverberated across the surrounding area, shattering windows and shaking the ground with terrifying intensity.
"What is happening here?!"
"Enemy!!"
"Where did they come from? What happened to our arrays?! How did they bypass all of our detection systems?!"
The black vessel was more than just a ship-it was a weapon, a fortress, and a tactical nightmare all in one. And those who had just witnessed its appearance realized, with growing dread, that this encounter would mark the beginning of a calamity unlike any they had ever faced before.
Several figures began soaring into the air with tremendous speed, converging from multiple directions to surround the mysterious ship that had appeared from thin air. They were without question World Cataclysms, each one a force of devastation on their own, and at least one or two among them were operating within Nexus State range, their presence radiating raw destructive
power.
Ksssshh
The portal of the sleek black ship opened, and Holak stepped out-a massive giant towering three meters tall, spreading his broad arms wide with a grin stretching from ear to ear, exuding both confidence and amusement. "Heh~ We'll need to work on achieving a smoother landing for the next round, the rough touchdown could have been avoided with better precision." "Who are you, exactly?!" The first World Cataclysm to arrive pointed directly at Holak with one hand while tightly gripping his weapon with the other. His voice was a mixture of disbelief and cautious threat. "How did you even arrive here? This place is unreachable by ordinary means!"
"....." Holak regarded the newcomer for a brief moment, his eyes scanning carefully, analyzing his opponent. Then, with deliberate calm, he spoke, "Fifth
Legion."
Distortion
It felt as if a thousand invisible eyes had just opened simultaneously inside the ship. In an instant, two precise rows of elite guards began descending from the vessel, one line aligning to Holak's right and the other to his left, moving with perfect coordination and deadly intent.
"Today marks your greatest trial," Holak shouted, voice resonating like a bell of command, electrifying his followers while he fixed his gaze upon the nearest World Cataclysm without a single blink. "It's evident there are many casualties here. Let none escape. Strike without mercy. Use everything you have learned to crush all those before you-but do not indulge in pointless destruction. Remember, this planet-the capital of the once-mighty Holfa Empire-is now under our control."
"Understood, Captain!"
The synchronized voices of the guards echoed through the city streets and towers, their combined resonance shaking buildings and striking fear into the hearts of anyone who dared oppose them. The entire city seemed to tremble under their unified command.
Shwoooosh
"... Today, Lord Hedrick I will show you the full consequences of mocking me!!" Sylas roared with the full force of his anger, his gaze fixed on the enormous star that had just appeared above. Flames licked the edges of the space seal around him, and the air shimmered with heat and light, as if the cosmos itself were bending to his will. The fireball, a manifestation of his immense power, began to burn through the very fabric of the seal-soon, Sylas believed, he would be able to break free entirely.
He then shifted his attention downward toward Hedrick, carefully observing him retreating with calm efficiency, skillfully avoiding the searing inferno.
But-
Hedrick's expression remained composed, his arms folded across his chest, completely unfazed. He stood almost effortlessly, emanating an aura of superiority that made the air around him feel suffocatingly heavy with control.
Crack Crack
The space surrounding Lord Hedrick was in a constant state of violent fracturing and reformation, as if he were suspended within a storm of millions of shattered glass shards. Each fragment floated and reassembled with precise intent, preventing a single flame from the star's blaze from touching his skin.
"You!!!" Sylas instinctively took a step back, his mind reeling. To what level had Lord Hedrick mastered control over the minor Crumbling law? The very fabric of space itself seemed to bend and obey his will.
Frantically, Sylas sought a path of escape, intending to burn through the seal and flee, but what he saw next left him utterly stunned: every fragment of the space-fracturing seal he attempted to burn would instantly shatter, and even the fire itself fragmented and dissipated before it could have any effect. "No..." Sylas muttered, his voice tight with disbelief and panic. "Why isn't it working? Why isn't it working?!"
He threw his arm back, striking with all his strength in a desperate attempt- Baaaaam-to pierce a tunnel through space itself, hoping to create a pathway of escape.
But the tunnel collapsed instantly, vanishing the moment it touched the
fractured seal.
"Heh~" Hedrick's gaze lingered on Sylas for another long, deliberate minute, a
mix of disdain and amusement in his eyes, giving Sylas complete freedom to try and escape, knowing full well it would be futile. Then Hedrick's attention shifted downward toward Aru.
"Are we done here?" he asked calmly, his tone almost casual, as if nothing
extraordinary had occurred.
"One moment!" Aru raised a single finger, closing his eyes for a few more
seconds to focus. When he finally opened them, he clapped his hands together with a loud, triumphant laugh that echoed through the silent battlefield. "Haha, yes, yes, we're done. The ship has landed safely in the pit, and the matter is settled. The war... is over."
