Chapter 2084 Good man

"...Am I missing something?" Robin raised an eyebrow slightly, his gaze steady. "Althera seems upset."

"I can't speak on her behalf with absolute certainty," Aser said as he turned to look down the mountain, his tone calm and measured, "but in my opinion, I don't think she's fond of the idea of helping Morgana manage her academy. Not long ago, Morgana was just a teacher with a single royal star, working under Lady Althera herself. That kind of change in roles isn't easy to accept."

"Hm, that could indeed be the reason," Robin said thoughtfully. "But managing a massive entity like a cosmic academy cannot be done by one person alone. And Althera herself could never manage all the stellar academies on her own either." Then he chuckled softly. "Even the Master of Thrones needed twelve of his disciples to help him manage the stellar academies. Do you really think Althera, who speaks little, and Morgana, who lacks experience, wouldn't need support and structure?"

"An excellent idea," Aser nodded with approval. "Perhaps you could issue orders to establish a leadership council for the stellar academies. That way, Althera and Morgana would stand on the same level, and there would be no sensitivity or hidden tension between them. They could also recruit more talents to help carry the burden. Your Excellency truly is a genius, just as people say."

"....." Robin raised an eyebrow, then began to laugh while shaking his head lightly. "Yes, I'll follow up on implementing 'my' brilliant solution with Morgana and the Shadow Swords later. But for now, let Althera extend her hand of help first and take the first step."

When exactly did he propose that solution? It was obvious that Aser had put the words in his mouth and then praised him for them.

"Haha, excellent," Aser nodded firmly, clearly satisfied. "Do you require anything now, Lord Robin? If not, I'll take my leave and let you continue with what you're doing."

"Go ahead," Robin nodded calmly. "Experts from my subordinate empires have already begun arriving in waves. They're building slaughterhouses and morgues for the corpses, and constructing several arrays to help you contain and besiege the space beasts. Once they're finished, the passage will be opened again. You probably have about five to seven days before the next trial begins."

"I will be present then," Aser nodded again, then walked out with steady, confident steps through the main door, and only after that did he disappear completely.

"Hm, a good man," Robin nodded. "He probably believes he could erase me with a single strike, and yet he restrained his pride and has already begun treating me as a superior..." Then he turned to look down the mountain, where the passage gate stood, with Althera and Aser beside it, clearly discussing something. "No wonder Althera relies on him in everything."

"Hm?" Robin then slightly furrowed his brows.

Something was happening now...

Althera and Aser, who had been inspecting the passage gate and looking through it, suddenly stepped a few steps back in unison, as if reacting to the same unseen threat. Althera drew her short sword from its sheath, and Aser pulled out a crescent-shaped blade, both of them instantly shifting into combat readiness.

"What's happening on the other side..." Robin stood up slowly. Both of his hands were still writing, and everything he was doing was still ongoing; he hadn't stopped a single process or task.

No matter the level of danger, as long as those two were there, there was no need for panic or alarm... unless, of course, it was an ancestor space beast. In that case, he would be forced to release the shard immediately.

In the very next moment, the entire scene began to shift and distort before their eyes.

Hoooom

Something rushed toward the gate at terrifying speed, its shadow rapidly forming into the shape of a human figure... a human missing a leg and an arm. It was the Cosmic Elder!

He burst through the gate as if fleeing from something monstrous, and the instant he crossed over, he threw his mouth open and drew in a violent, desperate breath.

"Haaaaaaa!!!"

"Zolan, what are you doing... Robin muttered, narrowing his gaze as he examined the Cosmic Elder using the zoom-eye ability.

The clean, new clothes he had entered with just three days ago were now torn, scorched, and ruined. His neatly braided hair and his ribboned beard were burned and frizzed out, twisted and wild, like a vagrant's. His entire appearance was ruined, and his condition was clearly terrible, almost unrecognizable. "What could have brought you to this state, old man?" Robin frowned deeply, his expression hardening.

At that moment, a massive shadow appeared behind the gate. Then-

BAAAAANG

It slammed into it with overwhelming force.

The gate shook violently, sending brutal shockwaves in every direction, rippling through the air and the ground alike. If the area had not been completely evacuated of workers and researchers the day before, they would all have been killed on the spot.

"No!" The Cosmic Elder turned back instantly, raised his hand toward the violently shaking passage that was on the verge of collapse, and forcefully stabilized it with his power.

"Your Eminence, the Cosmic Elder!" Aser's eyes widened, his hands lifting in shock and excitement, then he bowed slightly. "It is an honor to meet Your

Excellency."

"...?" The Cosmic Elder noticed Aser and Althera standing together. He floated toward them without a word, grabbed Aser by the back of the neck, and shoved

him violently toward the passage gate.

"There are seven adult space beasts on the other side. Try to expel them."

"Whaaaat?!" Aser screamed as he was thrown forward through the gate.

Then more screams and explosions echoed from beyond the passage, violent and chaotic, different voices this time, filled with panic and rage.

"Are you waiting for an invitation?!" the Cosmic Elder snapped, turning to

Althera and pointing sharply toward the passage.

"S-seven adult space beasts?!" Althera took a step back in disbelief. "What am I

supposed to do?!"

She couldn't kill even one of them on her own.

"Move!" the Cosmic Elder barked. He leapt forward and hurled Althera toward

the passage with brutal force.

"Ah!!" Althera only realized what had happened when she found herself on the

other side.

And a shouting voice thundered from behind her:

"Do not let anything happen to the passage!"

Then he reinforced it with a louder, harsher voice:

"Die of you must to protect it!!"

"Hoo~" The Cosmic Elder released a long, heavy breath and sat down in place,

watching the passage closely so it would not receive another impact. At the same time, he kept breathing deeply, feeling the laws around him, sensing their flow and presence... feeling human again, if only slightly.

"Hey, old man,"

At that moment, a calm voice drifted beside the Cosmic Elder's ea.

"Did you just throw two of my followers beyond the World's End barrier? How

do you intend to compensate me?"

"Huh?" The Cosmic Elder turned toward a specific direction. He quickly found

Robin high on the mountain, inside his glass chamber, looking down at him with

a strange, unreadable smile.

"Two of your followers?" the Cosmic Elder asked quietly. "...Did you already publish the announcement?"

"Do good and do it quickly, hehe," Robin chuckled lightly, then tilted his head

toward the left.

"Come, come. Eat something and rest. Don't go back to your children and wives in this miserable, broken state. I've built you a home beside mine... I knew you wouldn't be late."
