Chapter 2135 Seal

This chapter is updated by JustRead.pl

"Seal?!" Robin raised his voice slightly, his eyes narrowing as a sharp glint flashed within them, "Are you absolutely certain he said a seal?!"

"I wouldn't forget something like that." The Cosmic Elder shook his head firmly, his tone leaving no room for doubt, "I asked him what he meant back then, and he told me that no matter what he tried, there was always some force interfering with his efforts. Every time he thought he had solved one problem, another would emerge almost immediately. Every time he closed a single gap, ten more would open somewhere else."

"What else? Did he tell you anything more about that seal?!" Robin pressed quickly, leaning forward slightly, his interest clearly piqued.

"No." The Cosmic Elder shook his head again, a faint trace of regret passing through his expression, "After reaching that conclusion, he stopped researching it for many years. He fell into a state of depression and frustration, angry at the countless years he felt had been wasted chasing something unattainable."

"...After a long time, he gathered himself and returned to the research, determined to try again... but he breathed his last before he could complete it."

Robin gradually calmed, the urgency fading from his expression as his gaze dropped toward the table, his thoughts sinking inward.

Then, thud, he placed a card down without much force, almost absentmindedly.

"Hmm?" The Cosmic Elder raised an eyebrow, slightly surprised by the lack of reaction, "You don't seem particularly shocked!"

"Nothing new has been said." Robin exhaled slowly, his voice steady but carrying a faint trace of weariness, "I also felt there was something

fundamentally wrong a long time ago. I used the four Master Laws to try and find ways to bypass it... but it led nowhere."

Then his tone rose slightly, edged with disbelief and frustration, "Think about it... the Master Laws themselves offer no solution, yet the so-called answer is nothing more than injecting filthy beast blood into one's body?!"

"...Why is it that the blood of a beast grants me the ability to connect with the heavenly laws that I struggle endlessly to reach... while that same beast spends its existence wallowing in instinct and filth?"

"And that very same blood becomes a permanent chain as well... it's a shortcut, yes, but at the same time, it's the strongest form of restraint."

"...Anyone who uses the blood of a beast at the World Cataclysm level will have their ceiling fixed at that level forever. They will never advance beyond it unless they find another beast of the same lineage and take its blood as well... and even then, they must pray there is no conflict between the two."

"...And how many beasts even exist at the Realm of Law Domination? Almost all of them are gathered in the Beast Garden of the Savage Behemoth Zavaros!"

"...That's why more than half of the Behemoths are rare humans, while the rest rely on the blood of ancient Domination Realm beasts that no longer exist... or they turn to soul force as an alternative."

A faint anger surfaced on Robin's face, subtle yet unmistakable, "This filthy beast-blood path has shackled the progress of this universe's inhabitants for far too long."

Robin understood better than anyone the true cost required to break the limitations imposed by that path, even for a single individual.

He had paid an enormous price just to grant Rinara the ability to break free from the constraints of a high Nexus State and reach its peak... an absurd, almost unreasonable cost.

And that didn't even include the resources required to push her further toward the Dominator realm afterward.

Just how many people had this path destroyed... how many futures had it locked into place, never to be changed?

At that thought, Robin let out a long breath and waved his hand slightly, as if dismissing the lingering frustration, "I also felt that there was something like a seal... or perhaps a curse... preventing any real solution from emerging. I was hoping you would tell me what that seal actually is... but it seems the Great Truth Chosen Azramid only sensed it, just as I did."

"You've actually sensed it as well?" The Cosmic Elder frowned deeply, his expression growing noticeably more serious, his gaze sharpening as he studied Robin more carefully.

The Great Truth Chosen Azramid had spent millions of years before arriving at that conclusion... that no matter what approach was taken, there would always be a flaw, an inherent barrier preventing internal energy from becoming the primary cultivation path of the universe.

And yet Robin...

Who had not even lived for a thousand years...

Had reached the exact same realization through his own efforts.

The Cosmic Elder let out a slow, measured sigh... well, Azramid hadn't been able to help him. But Robin had.

Then, without breaking the rhythm, he placed a card on the table.

"Of course I sensed the seal." Robin waved his hand casually, as if it were an obvious matter, then pointed inward toward the glass house, "What do you think Seraphim is doing right now?" Then he flicked a card onto the table and continued, "It's trying to find a way to link causality with creation and balance... to strike that seal directly at its root."

"Three Master Laws?!" The Cosmic Elder turned his head sharply toward Seraphim, genuine surprise surfacing on his face.

Whoosh Whoosh Whoosh

The pen was moving with relentless speed and intensity, darting across the surface in rapid strokes, stopping for brief moments as if calculating something extremely complex, then resuming again with even greater force.

It paused.

Then suddenly tore the panel apart.

Then immediately began again on a new one.

"...The pen is starting to behave like you." The Cosmic Elder muttered under his

breath, clearly impressed despite himself.

"Yes." Robin let out a light chuckle, clearly pleased, "And thanks for it, by the way. It's given me time I never could have had otherwise." Then he paused briefly, his tone softening just slightly, "But unfortunately... it seems I don't yet have enough knowledge for it to fully utilize. Sometimes I even feel like I'm

holding it back."

Then he laughed again and gestured toward the table with ease, "Play"

"No need to be so harsh on yourself," the Cosmic Elder replied calmly, shaking his head slightly, "No one has ever achieved something like this before. And forgive me for saying it so bluntly... but I don't think you will either. Why not find something else to occupy your time with?"

"With your knowledge and with Seraphim at your side, you could accomplish an incredible amount." Then he gestured toward the gate, "I just witnessed what you did for the body cultivation path in just a few minutes."

"Are you trying to discourage me, old man?" Robin chuckled, but there was a faint spark of challenge in his eyes, "I'm afraid you've only made me more

excited."

No one had ever done it before?

Good. That was precisely why e was pursuing it.

Those were the kinds of pursuits that led to eternal glory.

"Don't take it that way," the Cosmic Elder shook his head again, his tone

returning to calm reasoning, "But let's think about it logically..." Then he played another card, "If there truly is a seal... who could have placed it?"

"....." Robin placed his card with a soft tap, "A powerful entity." "Perhaps the very architect of the rules... the one who established the rules

governing planetary spirits, the rules of passage between sectors, the conditions of breakthroughs, and all the countless systems that define how the universe operates." The Cosmic Elder snapped his fingers lightly, "Or perhaps... the creator of the laws themselves."

"I've thought about that," Robin shook his head slowly, his expression thoughtful, "But I don't think that's the case... why would something create a system only to weaken it with its own hands? I couldn't find any logical reason

behind that."

"There are many things we don't understand, little Robin." The Cosmic Elder sighed quietly, "And for questions with harmful answers, one needs to know when to stop asking them."

"...Perhaps." Robin nodded and played his turn again, "That's exactly why I've pushed the idea of the seal to the back of my mind. I stopped focusing on it directly. I'm simply trying to find a solution quietly... maybe the problem really lies with us, maybe there's a hidden answer somewhere... a key that no one has

discovered yet."

"By the way," he suddenly waved his hand with a wide smile, casually shifting

the topic as if the previous discussion carried no weight at all, "What happened

to the Great Truth Chosen Azramid? His traces vanished without warning. Actually, all Great Truth Chosen seem to disappear like that..."

"At some point, all information about them is cut off, and the world simply

assumes they're dead."

The Cosmic Elder placed a card down slowly, his expression turning

unreadable for a brief moment.

"That's because they are."
