Two Days Later—Orgenus Planet—Mid Sector 100When the invasion of the Sorcerer Galaxy and the Cursed Galaxy began, life here came to a complete halt just as it did everywhere else throughout the universe. Everyone abandoned whatever they had been doing, set aside every other concern, and gathered to watch the unfolding events with bated breath, unwilling to miss even the smallest development.
Now, more than two days after the assault had begun, the entire universe was still watching with that same breathless anticipation, as though no one’s attention had drifted away from the two battlefields even for a single moment...
But here, on Orgenus Planet, there was no room for rest.
"Move faster!"
"Did you bring the blueprint you were assigned?"
"Hehehe... I’ll bite your guts out today!!"
Step Step
Caesar walked past hundreds of researchers from the Sky Opening City branch without so much as glancing in their direction, maintaining the same steady pace from beginning to end.
They were researchers, not soldiers, so they had no reason to know how they were expected to conduct themselves in the presence of the Marshal. Some of them had never even seen him before, while others failed to notice him entirely because they were completely immersed in their own work. Caesar didn’t care about any of that in the slightest. The simple fact that every one of them continued working relentlessly without unnecessary delays was enough to tell him they understood the urgency of the current situation, and that was the only thing that mattered.
Caesar was clad in a full suit of golden armor adorned with exquisite black patterns that flowed elegantly across its surface, while a long black cloak dragged quietly across the ground behind him with every step he took.
His height, which exceeded that of the average human male, his well-proportioned physique that was neither bulky nor lean, the thick black beard extending downward to cover his neck, and the heavy, oppressive aura surrounding him all combined to create an extraordinary presence that instinctively pressured everyone around him.
The researchers either didn’t know who he was or simply failed to notice his arrival altogether. Even so, an entirely empty circle nearly one hundred meters wide remained around Caesar wherever he walked. Any researcher who unknowingly approached too closely would subconsciously change direction and drift back outside that invisible boundary without ever realizing they had moved away or understanding why they had done so.
At last, Caesar reached the location he had been heading toward from the very beginning and slowly lifted his eyes.
Bam Bam
There stood the Warlord, serving as a living symbol of the Empire’s overwhelming destructive might, making only slight movements such as slowly turning his body and taking measured steps from side to side while the surrounding arrays continuously observed and adjusted his condition.
"Marshal." Klein, Jabba’s deputy and a Third-Grade Truth Chosen, approached him without hesitation. "I’m glad you arrived so quickly." He then gestured toward the Warlord. "We made another adjustment to the array following one of City Lord Jabba’s suggestions. Please have a look."
"....."
Caesar stared expressionlessly at the Warlord for an entire minute without saying a single word, carefully observing every subtle movement before finally speaking.
"The movements are much smoother. He’ll be able to remain on the battlefield for much longer periods, but..." He turned his head toward Klein. "Was that everything Jabba instructed?"
"Actually, no." Klein awkwardly scratched the back of his head. "I simply implemented the quickest and easiest modification from among all of his suggestions, and this was the result."
"The quickest and easiest?" Caesar revealed a meaningful smile that immediately made Klein feel uneasy. "Klein... would you like to go on a quick and easy adventure with the Imperial Guard?"
"No!!" Klein answered firmly without even thinking. "You said you needed the Warlords as quickly as possible, so I did everything I could to reduce the flaws in the system first. If you want a Warlord without any problems at all, then you’ll simply have to wait longer!"
"Why wait?!" Caesar raised his voice slightly as he questioned him. "Jabba gave you the keys, and we possess enormous vaults containing everything you could possibly need. If you still can’t find what you’re looking for there, then we have the largest procurement network dedicated to obtaining whatever we require, and I’ll have it delivered to you immediately through the Grand Space Portals."
"Marshal, Lord Jabba gave me advice, not finished designs. Please understand that distinction." Klein tried to explain in a lowered voice, doing his best to make Caesar understand the difference.
"....."
Caesar stared directly into his eyes for a brief moment before calmly turning around once again.
"Lily, anything new?"
Standing directly behind Caesar was an exceptionally beautiful young woman with curly golden hair. At that very moment, she was simultaneously monitoring two different battle scenes displayed on miniature holographic screens connected to the device wrapped around her wrist, her eyes moving back and forth between the two streams without missing a single detail.
Upon hearing her name, Lily immediately raised her round face to look toward Caesar.
"Yes, Marshal. Our forces have reached the final quarter of both galaxies, and a systematic sweep is currently underway."
"..." Caesar began rubbing the space between his eyes, the fatigue on his face becoming increasingly apparent. "Once Renara finishes with Zargul and refines part of the galaxy, she’ll only come here for a few hours to assist us before leaving again..." His voice gradually rose with every sentence as his frustration became more difficult to suppress. "How exactly is she supposed to help us if we haven’t even started the war by then?!"
He raised his hand and pointed toward the Warlord standing in the distance.
"Without that, I can’t launch a war against four Millennial Empires in addition to the Empire of the Seven Thrones. Disaster will strike us before Renara even gets here!!"
"Umm... Couldn’t we try pressuring them into joining us without fighting?" the Truth Chosen asked cautiously, gesturing toward the battles unfolding on the miniature holographic screens attached to the young woman’s wrist, where the ongoing invasion continued without pause.
"Klein." Caesar took a single step forward and stared directly into the man’s eyes, his expression leaving no room for argument. "Don’t involve yourself in matters that don’t concern you." Then he pointed toward the Warlord once again. "That thing has to be finished... quickly."
"...Understood." Klein let out a helpless sigh before turning around and walking away while rubbing his forehead, already thinking about the countless problems still waiting for him.
Caesar wasn’t in a better mood either...
Persuade them to join him?
He had already tried.
Even the Empire of the Seven Thrones, with only a single planet remaining under its control, continued presenting outrageous demands despite its current situation—even after witnessing the new Renara with their own eyes.
Every one of those ancient powers stubbornly refused to accept that everything they had built over millions of years might one day belong to someone else. They refused to believe that instead of others kneeling before them... they would become the ones forced to kneel.
At this very moment, they were running from one conference room to another, desperately searching for any possible solution that could pull them out of their predicament, and naturally, the option of cooperating with the Syndicate remained completely open before them.
Could they be tamed with words?
Perhaps.
But throughout the entire True Beginning Empire, across every one of its branches, there wasn’t a single individual capable of carrying out negotiations on such an enormous scale while simultaneously possessing enough authority to conclude them.
"Lily." Caesar finally murmured after remaining silent for a short while.
"Yes, Marshal?" the young woman answered immediately, lifting her eyes from the holographic displays.
"...." Caesar looked off into the distance before speaking in a calmer voice. "Prepare the Scythe of Stillness for me. There’s no longer any reason to keep it set aside. It’s time for it to accompany me into war." He then let out another sigh. "And sound the war horn... We can’t afford to wait any longer."
"Understood." The young woman nodded without hesitation. "What about you, Marshal? Would you like me to prepare a specific destination for you?"
"No." Caesar immediately began walking in a particular direction without slowing his pace. "I’m going to check on my two Destra brothers one last time before setting out for the battlefield." A faint smile gradually appeared on his face as he continued walking. "I was hoping this period of peace would last a little longer so I could continue examining them every day, but... I suppose spending a few years without a war makes you itch, old man."
