The woman in red flicked a strand of hair from her cheek with one finger, twirling it lightly between her fingers. A contemptuous smile played on her lips, and a flicker of murderous intent crossed her eyes as she gazed at the mansion ahead.

As if struck by a thought, she chuckled softly. "The rest of the Song family are yours. As for that woman in azure, I shall claim her life myself!" Her voice paused, her laughter turning vicious and cruel. "Only in my hands will she truly taste the agony of a fate worse than death."

The middle-aged man glanced at her. "The returning guards said this green-clad woman is formidable. To avoid mishaps, I’ll accompany you."

Hearing this, the red-clad woman snorted dismissively. "What? You don’t trust me? Do you really think I’d lose to some woman who appeared out of nowhere?"

"You two, go together!"

The old man beside them spoke up, glancing at both of them. "Yuehong, deal with that green-clad woman. If you find her too much, then it’s two against one! No matter what it takes, that woman must die! Don’t let any accidents happen!"

Seeing him speak, the red-clad woman didn’t say anything else, merely tugging at the corner of her mouth as she listened to him speak.

"Aside from Song Lingbo, the rest of the Song family aren’t much to worry about. Fourth Brother, you handle Song Lingbo and the others. As for me, I’ll head to the rear mountain where the Song family patriarch is in seclusion. Force him out and slay him. Bring back that multicolored spirit stone as a birthday gift for the Patriarch."

Hearing this, the others exchanged glances and responded in unison: " "Agreed! It’s settled!" As soon as the words left their mouths, three of them leaped into the Song residence, while the fourth circled around toward the rear mountain.

With their Supreme-level strength, annihilating the insignificant Song family was a foregone conclusion. Even though they knew the green-robed woman was formidable, none of the four took her seriously.

When the trio landed in the Song family’s front courtyard, they saw only Song Lingbo, his three sons, and several elderly men. Judging by their appearance, these elders were likely the Song family’s clan elders. However, their strength was utterly insignificant in the eyes of the attackers.

"Song Lingbo."

The elder among the three spoke, his gaze fixed on Song Lingbo. "Have you come here to die?"

Song Lingbo looked at the three, shielding his sons behind him with his own aura to protect them from the oppressive pressure of the Supreme Masters. "Are you three among the nine Supreme Masters of the Cheng family?"

"Correct!"

They were well aware the Song family’s ultimate demise was inevitable, so they felt no urgency to kill them immediately. The elder’s piercing gaze fixed on him as he declared, "The Song family conspired with others to strike a deadly blow against my Cheng family. We are well aware of this. We have come tonight to claim the lives of every last member of your Song family!"

Hearing this, Song Lingbo replied in a deep voice, " The fault lies with your Cheng family. Did the guards sent back not inform you that you were to bring generous gifts and come to apologize?"

"Ha ha ha ha! What a joke! Bring generous gifts and come to apologize? Is your Song family even worthy of that?" The old man threw his head back and laughed loudly. His aged yet powerful voice carried a formidable pressure that filled the air, the laughter itself reverberating so intensely it made one’s eardrums ache.
