Feng Jiu and Du Fan brought Mo Ze to the villa where Qi Kang and the others were staying. After a night of handling the situation, Qi Kang and his group had already brought things under control. Seeing the three of them appear suddenly, they were startled and hurried forward.

"Master, what happened to Hell’s Lord?"

"Master!" Shadow One swiftly stepped forward to help support him.

Feng Jiu let Shadow One and Du Fan escort him inside, saying, "An incident occurred. There’s no longer any need to guard the Eastern Sea Spirit Domain. Send word to Luo Yu and the others—tell them we are here now."

She paused, then added, "Also, inform my brother to tell my grandfather and the others not to worry. They needn’t come all this way, lest..." Her words trailed off as Du Fan’s startled cry echoed from inside.

"Master! Come see!"

Hearing the commotion, Feng Jiu abandoned all else and hurried inside. The moment she entered, an icy chill permeated the air, accompanied by the aura of the Black Lotus surging from Mo Ze’s body.

Du Fan and Shadow One stepped back, overwhelmed by the overwhelming energy. Their hearts raced with concern, yet they dared not approach abruptly.

Feng Jiu entered to find Mo Ze lying on the bed, his body pulsing with an icy chill. Simultaneously, the aura of the Black Lotus surged from him. The two energies seemed locked in a struggle, saturating the entire room with both the bitter cold and the dark lotus essence.

"You two, step outside," Feng Jiu ordered, gesturing for them to leave.

Seeing this, they quickly exited, closing the door behind them and remaining vigilant by the threshold. Du Fan’s expression grew solemn as he lowered his eyes, lost in thought.

Shadow One kept glancing back at the room, unable to contain his curiosity. "What’s going on? Who brought the Master out from the deep sea? Has his immortal body already been fully formed? And what about that frigid aura and the black lotus energy earlier?"

"Du Fan, you’ve been by the Master’s side. You should know what’s happening! Tell us!" Qi Kang and the others stepped forward.

Du Fan lifted his gaze to meet theirs. "The Firmament Monarch shattered the defensive barrier that Master had cast beneath the sea and took Hell’s Lord away. Master pursued him to the Palace of the Heavens and found Hell’s Lord within its subterranean chambers. When I arrived, the Firmament Monarch was nowhere to be seen. I merely brought Hell’s Lord back. As for the rest... I don’t fully understand it yet."

Hearing this, the group exchanged glances but said nothing further, choosing instead to wait there.

Inside the room, Feng Jiu stood by the bed, observing the two energies battling within Mo Ze’s body. Her eyes flickered. Within the frigid aura, she sensed the faint presence of the Green Dragon. Yet within the black lotus energy, she vaguely detected an essence that did not belong to Mo Ze.

As if recalling something, her heart stirred. She tapped her finger against his brow, sending a thread of divine consciousness into his sea of consciousness.

Within the sea of consciousness, white and hazy, an icy chill pervaded. Her thread of divine consciousness entered and saw Mo Ze slumbering within, along with the form of the Green Dragon faintly taking shape from the energy currents around him, and that sliver of divine soul.

"Firmament Monarch! So you were hiding here!"

Feng Jiu’s icy voice carried a palpable intent to kill. Yet she did not advance, merely halting her steps to observe the scene. Firmament Monarch’s soul sought to devour Mo Ze’s soul and possess his body. However, he had underestimated Mo Ze’s inherent strength.
