"It’s getting late, Little Jiu. Let’s eat first! We’ve been talking for so long, you haven’t had anything all day." Guan Xilin said, signaling for someone to prepare the meal.

"With the Master’s return, word should have spread to all regions. Those familiar with the Master will likely come calling soon," Du Fan remarked, turning to Feng Jiu. "How long does the Master plan to stay here? When they arrive, will the Master receive them?"

Feng Jiu smiled. "Since they’re acquaintances, we should certainly receive them. Besides, I won’t be returning anytime soon. I plan to select a location to set up a teleportation array. Once activated, anyone stepping onto it can travel directly to the Upper Immortal Realm through the array I’ve established."

Turning to the others, she added cheerfully, "This time, even if you haven’t attained the strength for ascension, I can still take you to the Upper Immortal Realm."

"Wonderful! That means we can stay by your side again!" Luo Yu beamed, his face radiating excitement.

Qi Kang, however, frowned thoughtfully. "Master, if we all go to the Upper Immortal Realm, what about the various realms and territories below? I fear chaos will ensue if we all depart."

Currently, they governed several celestial realms and earthly domains. With them stationed there, local rulers dared not cause trouble. Had it not been for this recent incident, peace had always prevailed. But if they left, who knew what might happen?

Hearing this, Feng Jiu sipped her tea, moistening her throat before replying, "Truthfully, I’ve been considering this. As the leaders of the Eight Phoenix Guards, you’ve all proven yourselves capable of independent command. Whether you remain by my side is no longer essential. She paused before continuing, "What I had in mind was this: you few could remain here, while Leng Shuang and the others could accompany me to the Upper Realm. I’d leave a teleportation array here, allowing direct travel between both realms. You wouldn’t necessarily have to stay by my side. What do you think?"

Hearing this, Qi Kang and the others paused, exchanging glances. Their Master had elevated them to rulers of celestial realms precisely to safeguard their domains. Should they depart now, finding replacements would indeed prove difficult. Moreover, certain responsibilities simply couldn’t be abandoned outright.

For a moment, they all fell silent.

Guan Xilin observed them and laughed heartily. "Little Jiu has a point. Children grow up and must eventually support their own households. Who can remain sheltered under their parents’ wings forever? You all possess the capability. Whether you stay by her side or not is no longer crucial. Besides, her being your Master doesn’t depend on your constant presence."
