The Great Emperor’s seat was spaced apart from those of the other Monarchs, with ample room between them. Thus, their conversation, mingled with the surrounding chatter, remained unheard by others.
Upon hearing this, Xiao Junyan paused slightly before replying, “Rest assured, Old Predecessor. Junyan will do his utmost not to bring shame upon you. However…”
